Natural and Derivatized Acetogenins Promising for the Control of Spodoptera frugiperda Smith

Annonaceous acetogenins (ACG), belonging to the family Annonaceae, represent a class of bioactive compounds whose toxic effects have been reported for several spe-cies of insects. Given their insecticidal properties, we first carried out the isolation of the ACG from a Brazilian collection of the seeds of Annona squamosa (Annonaceae) and prepared their methoxy methylated (MOM) and acetylated (OAc) derivatives by chemical methods. ACG analogues were semi-synthesized and characterized by spec-troscopic techniques (1H and 13C-NMR). We isolated ten natural acetogenins: squamo-cin, molvizarin, motrilin, rolliniastatin-2, almunequin, cherimolin-1, cherimolin-2, an-nonacin, squamocin D and asiminecin. The main objective of this study is to report the antifeedant, toxic and nutritional effects of three of those natural acetogenins and their acetylated and methoxy methylated derivatives on Spodoptera frugiperda Smith (Lep-idoptera: Noctuidae). The natural ACGs squamocin and molvizarin killed 100% of S. frugiperda larvae, followed by motrilin (80%). Acetylated derivatives had less toxic and nutritional effects that led to pupal mortality and adult fatal malformations. The addition of MOM derivatives to the larval diet has not toxic effects on larvae, but significantly reduces growth rate and efficiency in conversion of ingested food into biomass, affecting adult survival.

Introduction:Griseofulvin is an antifungal drug belonging to Biopharmaceutical Classification System(BCS class II)having low ***:To formulate,evaluate and enhance the dissolution of poorly water soluble drug Griseofulvin by using solid dispersion ***:Six formulations were prepared by solid dispersion method using Polyethylene Glycol(PEG 6000)125 mg,0 mg,62.5 mg,100 mg,25 mg,150 mg and superdisintegrants Crospovidone 0 mg,125 mg,62.5 mg,100 mg,25 mg,150 mg in all batches ***:Satisfactory results were obtained from evaluation of physical characteristics of Griseofulvin tablets including:carr’s compressibility index(17.5±0.19%to 11.76±0.67%),Hausner ratio(1.21±0.01 to 1.13±0.02)and post compression parameters including:thickness(5.16±0.02 mm to 4.57±0.19 mm),friability(0.024%to 0.322%),hardness(4±0.28 kg/cm^(2)to 5±0.57 kg/cm^(2)),disintegration time(14-870 seconds).Conclusions:F3 was best formulation among all formulated batches with in-vitro drug release 30.05%in 10 minutes,69.21%in 30 minutes and 97.11%in 45 *** indicated that formulation F3 batch with PEG 6000 of 62.5 mg and crospovidone 62.5 mg showed increased dissolution.

背景和目的下呼吸道感染常并发于卒中并对转归造成不利影响。对于并发于卒中的下呼吸道感染性疾病，目前尚无公认的专业术语或诊断金标准，这导致临床诊疗和研究受到影响。本共识旨在提出急性卒中并发下呼吸道感染的标准化术语和可操作性诊断标准。方法对多个文献数据库进行系统检索，经过证据回顾和2轮讨论，最后于2014年9月在英国曼彻斯特召开共识会议，经75％以上共识小组成员达成一致意见后形成共识。结果达成的共识如下：（1）推荐使用卒中相关性肺炎（stroke－associated pneumonia, SAP ）作为卒中发病后7 d内发生的下呼吸道感染性疾病的专业术语。（2）提议对 SAP 使用经过改良的美国疾病控制预防中心（Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, CDC）诊断标准：①很可能的 SAP：符合 CDC 诊断标准，但复查或动态监测胸部 X 片仍缺乏典型改变；②确诊的 SAP：符合 CDC 诊断标准，且胸部 X 片有典型改变。（3）关于白细胞计数或 C反应蛋白在 SAP 诊断中的作用证据有限。（4）其他生物学标记物（如降钙素原）的证据不足。结论提议根据 CDC 诊断标准对 SAP 的术语和诊断制定可操作性的共识标准，需要在卒中患者中进行前瞻性研究来确定其信度、效度以及对医生行为（包括抗生素选择）和临床转归的影响。

提高农产品质量和数量、保证粮食安全是我国目前的重要任务之一。但目前不断加剧的人类干扰活动、工业生产和城市化进程,造成生态环境恶化、农田系统水土质量降低和可耕种土地面积的减少,已对我国农田生态系统的固碳总量造成一定程度的潜在威胁;而且,生物能源的需求,也对我国的植物固碳量提出了更高的要求。因此,在可耕种土地面积不能增加,反而持续下降的背景下,提高植物的固碳速率,即光合速率,是保证我国粮食安全、维持我国社会-经济-生态可持续发展的重要手段之一。我国重要的粮食作物如水稻,小麦等均为C3作物。对C3作物进行C4改造,目前被认为是提高植物光合效率的重要手段之一。C4植物由C3植物进化而来,之所以比C3植物具有更高的光合利用效率因其具有特化的解剖结构:花环结构,各种C4光合作用的关键酶在花环结构的两种细胞:维管束鞘细胞及叶肉细胞的特异定位造成C4植物独特的C02浓缩机制,从而使其光合效率较高,光呼吸较低。然而,由于对C4植物花环结构发育,C4光合酶类细胞特异定位的分子调控机理不清楚,极大的限制了C3作物的C4改造。本实验以典型的C4植物玉米为实验材料,利用激光显微切割技术分离花环结构的两种细胞:维管束鞘细胞及叶肉细胞,结合新一代测序技术,在单细胞水平上研究维管束鞘细胞及叶肉细胞的基因表达,为进一步了解玉米的C4发育提供了基础。
