High e.pre.sion of uPa.a.d uPa. is a.socia.e. with a. incre.0}e. re.a.se.ra.e.a.d shorte. surviva. in bre.0}t ca.ce. a.d colore.ta. ca.cinoma.. a.ms: This study she. light on the.e.pre.sion of uPa. in a.ult a.ute.mye.oid le.ke.ia.(a.L) a.d its prognostic re.e.a.ce. Me.hods: Pe.iphe.a. blood a.d bone.ma.row sa.ple. a.e.obta.ne. from 54 ne.ly dia.nose. a.L a.ult pa.ie.ts, 20 he.0}thy controls sta.ne. with a.ti CD87 a.d e.tima.e. on flow cytome.ry. Re.ults: CD87 e.pre.sion wa. he.e.oge.e.us in diffe.e.t Fa. subtype. of a.L with high e.pre.sion in monocytic le.ke.ia.(M4/M5) (P va.ue.0.001). High e.pre.sion of CD87 wa. a.socia.e. with shorte. surviva. a.d poor re.ponse.to the.a.y (P = 0.028, 0.002 re.pe.tive.y). The.most discrimina.ing cut off va.ue.of CD87 e.pre.sion wa. 20%, pa.ie.ts with le.s tha. 20% e.pre.sion ha. 4.6 time. be.te. tre.0}me.t outcome.tha. those.with more.tha. or e.ua. to 20%. On the.multiva.ia.e.a.a.ysis, CD87 wa. the.most significa.t single.va.ia.le.tha. a.fe.t tre.0}me.t outcome.compa.e. to tota. le.cocytic count, he.oglobin le.e., pla.e.e.s count, cytoge.e.ic a.d FLT e.pre.sion. Summa.y/Conclusion: High CD87 e.pre.sion is a. inde.e.de.t prognostic pa.a.e.e. a.socia.e. with poor re.ponse.a.d shorte. ove.a.l surviva. in a.ult a.L pa.ie.ts.

The.ce.l morphology wa. e.a.ine. by inve.te. light microscopy. Furthe., the.ra.iose.sitizing e.fe.t of silve. na.opa.ticle. (a.NPs) on MCF-7 wa. a.so de.onstra.e. by a.se.sing ce.l morphology, ce.l prolife.a.ion of MTT a.sa., LDH a.tivity a.d induction of a.optosis through che.king of some.a.optotic ge.e. tha. a.te.e. during ca.cinoge.e.is, including ca.pa.e.3, Ba. a.d Bcl-2. Ca.pa.e.3 a.tivity wa. a.so e.tima.e.. Synthe.is of a.NPs wa. de.e.mine. by UV-Visible.spe.trum a.d it wa. furthe. cha.a.te.ize. by Te., FT-IR a.d X-Ra. a.a.ysis (e.X, XRD). The.re.ult showe. tha. a.NPs we.e.highly toxic towa.ds MCF-7 with IC50 va.ue.of 10.5 μg/ml.
