BACKGROUND Sporadic cases of extranasopharyngeal angiofibroma in children,especially preschool children,have been reported in the *** SUMMARY We present a case of extranasopharyngeal angiofibroma in a 4-year-old *** presenting symptoms,imaging findings,treatment,histological appearance,and follow-up data are described in *** this patient,we performed embolization on two occasions,and then,resected the tumor *** the treatment,the patient developed a soft-palate perforation due to aseptic ***,the healing ability was good,and the perforation healed *** additionally reviewed all pediatric cases of extranasopharyngeal angiofibroma published up to 30 June 2020 in the PubMed,Baidu Scholar,Scopus,and Web of Science *** identified 45 pediatric patients[average(10.98±4.86),boys 39(86.7%)].The highest proportion of cases occurred in adolescence[22(48.9%)].The top three sites of occurrence of extranasopharyngeal angiofibroma in children were the maxillary sinus,nasal septum,and inferior *** Extranasopharyngeal angiofibromas can occur throughout childhood,and predominantly present with nasal obstruction and spontaneous rhinorrhagia.

This paper proposes a solution to the open vehicle routing problem with time windows(OVRPTW)considering third-party logistics(3PL).For the typical OVRPTW problem,most researchers consider time windows,capacity,routing limitations,vehicle destination,*** researchers who previously investigated this problem assumed the vehicle would not return to the depot,but did not consider its final ***,by considering 3PL in the B2B e-commerce,the vehicle is required back to the nearest 3PL location with available *** paper formulates the problem as a mixed integer linear programming(MILP)model with the objective of minimizing the total travel distance.A coordinate representation particle swarm optimization(CRPSO)algorithm is developed to obtain the best delivery sequencing and the capacity of each *** of the computational study show that the proposed method provides solution within a reasonable amount of ***,the result compared to PSO also indicates that the CRPSO is effective.

Dendrobium officinale is not only an ornamental plant, but also a valuable medicinal herb that is widely used in traditional Chinese medicine. However, distinguishing D. officinale from other Dendrobium species is usually a difficult task. In this study,we developed a rapid identification protocol for D. officinale using the loop-mediated isothermal amplification(LAMP) method. A set of primers were specifically designed to detect a modified internal transcribed spacer region of D. officinale at 65 ℃ within 40 min after adding SYBR~? Green I, which was used for the detection of D. officinale. Unlike commonly used adulterants, reaction mixtures containing D. officinale DNA changed from orange to green, and this color change was easily observed with the naked eye. Thus, this methodology can be used to accurately differentiate D. officinale from other Dendrobium species, is quick as all D. officinale samples were amplified within 40 min, and specific as samples of the adulterants were not amplified. The specificity of this LAMP-based method was confirmed by testing 17 samples of D. officinale and 32 adulterant samples from other Dendrobium species. This LAMP-based rapid identification method does not require expensive equipment or specialized techniques and can be used in field surveys for accurate and fast on-site identification.

With the proliferation of the Internet of Things, uplink transmission performance has become more and more important. Moreover, with the traditional coupled uplink(UL)/downlink(DL) access(CUDA) mode, it is becoming hard to improve the system performance of UL in ultra dense heterogeneous networks(UDN, or Het Nets). In this paper, we have conducted a UL performance comparison study for the decoupled UL/DL access(DUDA) mode over the CUDA mode in UDN. The key performance indicators of local delay and energy efficiency(EE) were investigated with respect to SIR threshold, ratio of small cell base station(SBS) and macro cell base station(MBS) densities, and fractional power control(FPC) *** and simulation results confirm that the local delay is lower and the EE is higher under DUDA than under CUDA, and as such the DUDA mode is superior to the CUDA mode for the UL performance of UDN.

This paper combines the theory of teams and data envelopment analysis（DEA） to design a mechanism to optimally allocate resources in public healthcare. A statutory authority and the public hospitals under its governance are interpreted as a team, the members of which seek to operate efficiently under the shared institutional constraint that public healthcare is a public good. The individual public hospital exploits DEA to maximize own-payoff, subject to the team-condition that the payoff of each other public hospital does not fall and thereby subtract from the external effects created by the public supply of healthcare. The resulting team-DEA solution, which is shown to be both an individuallyefficient and team-satisficing equilibrium and to be computable in terms of a convergent algorithm, can then be applied by the authority to determine the optimal allocation of resources in public healthcare.A case based on Chinese data is presented to illustrate the team-DEA model＇s ready operationalization and computation.

Graphene possesses a large specific surface area, a high Young’s modulus, high fracture strength, high electrical conductivity, and excellent optical performance. It has been widely studied for biomedical use since its first appearance in the literature. This article offers an overview of the latest advances in the design of graphene-based materials for delivery of bioactive agents. To enhance the translation of these carriers into practical use, the toxicity involved is needed to be examined in future research in more detail. In addition, guidelines for standardizing experimental conditions during the evaluation of the performance of graphene-based materials are required to be established so that candidates showing higher practical potential can be more effectively identified for further development. This can streamline the optimization and use of graphene-based materials in delivery applications.

Anticipated more frequent extreme events due to changes in global climatic variability requires adaptation of crop species to multi-occurrence abiotic stresses hereby sustaining the food security. Priming, by pre-exposure of plants to an eliciting factor, enables plants to be more tolerant to later biotic or abiotic stress events. Priming induced “stress memory” exists in both present generation and the offspring. Thus, priming is suggested to be a promising strategy for plants to cope with the abiotic stresses under global change scenarios. In this review, the underlying physiological and molecular mechanisms of priming induced enhancement of stress tolerance to the major abiotic stresses of drought and waterlogging, and high and low temperature in crop plants were discussed, and the potential to utilize the priming effect for sustaining crop productivity in future climates was also suggested.

Wear behavior and mechanism of plasma nitrided steel oscillating against a heat-treated and an untreated aluminum bronze alloy were investigated using an Optimol SRV *** influence of heat treatment on the mechanical properties of the alloy was ***,the wear debris was also examined to understand the wear *** results show that a 220-230μm nitrided layer,which was harder than the substrate,was obtained on the steel *** tensile strength and hardness of the alloy are found to be significantly improved by the heat treatment associated with low impact *** heat treatment of the alloy did not obviously decrease the friction coefficient of the nitrided steel-bronze ***,the wear loss of the nitrided steel increased when it mated with the treated bronze by a severe three-body *** nitrided steel was mainly damaged by fatigue *** plane contact conditions,the wear debris was mainly generated from the bronze part and can escape from the interface before being oxidized,leading to the phase structure of all the debris being copper rather than copper oxides.
