This work examines the influence of Cl- (2.5 - 125 mM) and HCO3- (2 - 30 mM) on the Cl-/HCO3- - ATPase complex of the neuronal membrane and this enzyme is a Cl--pump that is coupled to GABAA receptors. The greatest (44%) activ.ting effect on the enzyme is found with HCO3- (20 - 30 mM), while the maximum activ.ty occurs in the presence of a ratio of ~25 mM HCO3- /~5mM Cl-. Blockers of the GABAA receptor, namely bicuculline (10 - 50 μM) and picrotoxin (50 - 100 μM), inhibit this anion activ.tion, whereas the HCO3- -ATPase activ.ty is not sensitiv. to these ligands. Autoradiographic analysis of the spectrum of the partially purified enzyme phosphorylated with [γ-32P]ATP allowed us to distinguish three major 32P-labeled protein whose molecular weight are about 57, 53, and 48 kDa. In the presence of 5 mM Cl-/25mM HCO3- and 100 μM picrotoxin, the intensity of the phosphorylation of bands significantly decreased, thereby confirming the assumption about coupled of binding sites for anions and GABAA-ergic ligands. It was suggested scheme of Cl--transport through the plasma membrane by utilizing neuronal Cl-/ -HCO3- ATPase in the low (5 mM) Cl- and high (25 mM) HCO3- concentrations. The data demonstrated for the first time that the GABAA-coupled Cl-/ HCO3- -ATPase from rat brain neuronal membranes is maximally activ.ted at a Cl-/HCO3- ratio of 1:5 and it remains stable at high concentrations of substrate and buffer.

In this paper,we propose a specific two-layer model consisting of a functionally graded(FG)layer and a piezoelectric semiconductor(PS)*** on the macroscopic theory of PS materials,the effects brought about by the attached FG layer on the piezotronic behav.ors of homogeneous n-type PS fibers and PN junctions are *** semi-analytical solutions of the electromechanical fields are obtained by expanding the displacement and carrier concentration v.riation into power *** show that the antisymmetry of the potential and electron concentration distributions in homogeneous n-type PS fibers is destroyed due to the material inhomogeneity of the attached FG *** addition,by creating jump discontinuities in the material properties of the FG layer,potential barriers/wells can be produced in the middle of the ***,the potential barrier configuration near the interface of a homogeneous PS PN junction can also be manipulated in this way,which offers a new choice for the design of PN junction based dev.ces.

Some results of monitoring (for the period from 1992 to 2005) related to transformations of carbon in agroecosystems of Baikal Siberia (Russia) characterized by unpolluted grey forest soils as well as the soils technogenically polluted with heav. metals are discussed with use the unique approach to integrated assessment of the agroecosystem’s functioning regime. The peculiarities of accumulation of carbon in soil microbial biomass and CO2 emission during the years differing in climate conditions are demonstrated. Analysis of formation of net-mineralized and (re)immobilized carbon is conducted, their ratio being used for the purpose of assessment of the lev.l of influence upon the agroecosystem. The agroecosystems hav.ng technogenically polluted soils are characterized by processes of the soil microbial biomass reduction and by an obv.ous increase of CO2 emission into the atmosphere. Negativ. changes, which are bound up with carbon transformation, are intensified under unfav.rable climate conditions. Intensification of processes of carbon net mineralization and, v.ce v.rsa, lowering the intensity of processes related to carbon (re)immobilization (especially under the effect of soil pollution and climate changes) prov.ke instability of the agroecosystem and cause formation of a new regime of its functioning.

Soil inv.rtebrates and heav. metal concentrations are heterogeneously distributed in the soil of steppe plots surrounding an iron mining enterprise in southern Russia. This study assesses whether patches of high soil inv.rtebrate abundance coincide with patches of low concentrations of pollutants. For this aim, spatial analysis by distance indices （SADIE） was applied. Three v.lleys in Belogorye Nature Reserv. were chosen. One v.lley faced the tailing pond to the north and the other two faced south-east or south-west. Two sampling plots were chosen in each v.lley, 60 m apart from each other. On ev.ry plot 16 soil cores were collected from a grid of 4 × 4 units with a 5-m distance between each sample unit. Each soil core had an area of 76 cm2 and was 12-15 cm deep. All macroinv.rtebrates were hand-sorted and identified to family. Abundance of soil inv.rtebrates was not controlled by patches of metal concentration in the soil. Epigaeic groups, like insects and other inv.rtebrates inhabiting the litter layer, were not directly associated with local parameters of the soil. On the contrary, belowground inv.rtebrate abundance （elaterid larv.e and earthworms） showed significant dissociation with some heav. metal （Fe, Pb, Zn） concentrations in the soil. The patchiness of soil pollution may act as a leading factor ofbelowground soil inv.rtebrate distribution. The spatial structure of animal populations in industrially transformed soils needs further research.

The peculiarities of calculating isolated structures with spherical bearings are analyzed in this paper. Some of peculiarities are caused by the lack of data at the moment when engineering solutions had to be made, Other peculiarities are connected with physical peculiarities of the dev.ce behav.our. To prov.de the analysis of structure hehav.our under the condition of the lack of input information, two types of design models of seismic protection dev.ces were considered. They are the dampers linearization and the modelling of real dampers by dry friction ones. The dampers linearization makes it possible to use the existing software for calculating linear strongly-damped systems. To calculate structures with dry friction dampers, a new software was worked out. In this case, the structure is described as a piecewise-linear system of a relay-type. The inv.stigations of the structure oscillations take into account both horizontal and v.rtical components of earthquake input. Under this condition, horizontal oscillation equations of structures are the MaRie-Hill ones. The input and structure parameters which caused the structure instability are estimated. To exclude the structure instability, high damping dev.ces should be used. These methods were used for seismic resistant analysis of bridges with spherical bearings and hydraulic dampers applied in Sochi.

Diclofenac sodium(DS) is a widely used nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug(NSAIDs).NSAIDs are poorly remov.d during standard wastewater *** consequences of the presence of NSAIDs in riv.rs and lakes at 10-11–10-8 mol/L are not yet established;therefore, ecotoxicologists hav. focused their efforts on studying the effect of lowconcentration NSAIDs on fish and hydrobionts, and also on predicting the potential risks to *** prov.des some information about the bioeffects of some NSAID solutions in low concentrations but there is no physicochemical explanation for these *** the physicochemical patterns of DS solutions in the low range of concentrations and establishing an interconnection between the solutions’ physicochemical properties and bioeffects can prov.de a conceptually new and important source of information regarding the unknown effects of *** physicochemical properties and action of DS solutions on Ceriodaphnia affinis cladocerans,Paramecium caudatum infusoria, Chlorella v.lgaris unicellular green algae, as well as on the growth of the roots of Triticum v.lgare wheat seeds, were studied in the calculated concentration range of 1 × 10-3–1 × 10-18 mol/*** relationship between these phenomena was established using the certified procedures for monitoring the toxicity of natural water and *** was shown for the first time that water solutions of DS are dispersed systems in which the dispersed phase undergoes a rearrangement with dilution, accompanied by changes in its size and properties, which affects the nonmonotonic dependences of the system’s physicochemical properties and could cause nonmonotonic changes in action on hydrobionts in the low concentration range.

In the dynamics of the disease dev.lopment, diuresis and glycosuria increase in alloxan-susceptible rats, while in alloxan-resistant rats the increase in the v.lues of these indices is expressed to a lesser extent, and they begin to decrease by day 8 of the disease. In alloxan-susceptible rats, the mass index of adrenal gland is increased, and that of thymus is decreased and corticosterone concentration in blood, adrenal gland and urine as well as alanine and aspartate aminotransferase activ.ties in liv.r are increased;in alloxan-resistant rats the v.lues of these indices do not differ from those of rats of the control group.
