The hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian(HPO)axis represents a central neuroendocrine network essential for reproductive *** its critical role,the intrinsic heterogeneity within the HPO axis across vertebrates and the complex intercellular interactions remain poorly *** study provides the first comprehensive,unbiased,cell type-specific molecular profiling of all three components of the HPO axis in adult Lohmann layers and Liangshan Yanying *** the hypothalamus,pituitary,and ovary,seven,12,and 13 distinct cell types were identified,*** indicated that the pituitary adenylate cyclase activating polypeptide(PACAP),follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),and prolactin(PRL)signaling pathways may modulate the synthesis and secretion of gonadotropin-releasing hormone(GnRH),FSH,and luteinizing hormone(LH)within the hypothalamus and *** the ovary,interactions between granulosa cells and oocytes involved the KIT,CD99,LIFR,FN1,and ANGPTL signaling pathways,which collectively regulate follicular *** SEMA4 signaling pathway emerged as a critical mediator across all three tissues of the HPO ***,gene expression analysis revealed that relaxin 3(RLN3),gastrin-releasing peptide(GRP),and cocaine-and amphetamine regulated transcripts(CART,also known as CARTPT)may function as novel endocrine hormones,influencing the HPO axis through autocrine,paracrine,and endocrine *** analyses between Lohmann layers and Liangshan Yanying chickens demonstrated higher expression levels of GRP,RLN3,CARTPT,LHCGR,FSHR,and GRPR in the ovaries of Lohmann layers,potentially contributing to their superior reproductive *** conclusion,this study provides a detailed molecular characterization of the HPO axis,offering novel insights into the regulatory mechanisms underlying reproductive biology.

Understanding the distribution and dynamics of glaciers is of great significance to the management and allocation of regional water resources and socio-economic development in arid regions of Northwest *** this study,based on 36 Landsat images,we extracted the glacier boundaries in the Manas River Basin,Northwest China from 2000 to 2020 using eCognition combined with band operation,GIS(geographic information system)spatial overlay techniques,and manual visual *** further analyzed the distribution and variation characteristics of glacier area,and simulated glacial runoff using a distributed degree-day model to explore the regulation of runoff *** results showed that glacier area in the Manas River Basin as a whole showed a downward trend over the past 21 a,with a decrease of 10.86%and an average change rate of–0.54%/*** the increase in glacier scale,the number of smaller glaciers decreased exponentially,and the number and area of larger glaciers were relatively *** area showed a normal distribution trend of increasing first and then decreasing with *** 97.92%of glaciers were distributed at 3700–4800 m,and 48.11%of glaciers were observed on the northern and northeastern *** retreat rate of glaciers was the fastest(68.82%)at elevations below 3800 *** was a clear rise in elevation at the end of *** at different slope directions showed a rapid melting trend from the western slope to the southern slope then to the northern *** runoff in the basin showed a fluctuating upward trend in the past 21 a,with an increase rate of 0.03×10^(8) m^(3)/*** average annual glacial runoff was 4.80×10^(8) m^(3),of which 33.31%was distributed in the ablation season(June–September).The average annual contribution rate of glacial meltwater to river runoff was 35.40%,and glacial runoff accounted for 45.37%of the total runoff during the ablation *** addition,precipitation and glacial runoff had comp

We investigate the ground states of spin-orbit coupled spin-1 bose-Einstein condensates in the presence of Zeeman *** introducing the generalized momentum operator,the linear version of the system is solved exactly,yielding a set of Bessel ***,based on linear solution and using variational approximation,the solutions for the full nonlinear system and their ground state phase diagrams are derived,including the vortex states with quantum numbers m=0,1,as well as mixed *** this work,mixed states in spin-1 spin-orbit coupling(SOC)BEC are interpreted for the first time as weighted superpositions of three vortex ***,the results also indicate that under strong Zeeman splitting,the system cannot form localized *** variational solutions align well with numerical simulations,showing stable evolution and meeting the criteria for long-term observation in experiments.

High-cost pre-alloyed powder is the bottleneck problem that limits the widespread application of additivemanufactured shape memory *** this work,the lowcost ternary NiTiFe shape memory alloy is fabricated by laser powder bed fusion(LPBF)technique via mechanically mixed pre-alloy NiTi powder and varying contents pure Fe powder(1,2,3 wt%).All NiTiFe alloys show a relative density of up to 99.8%by optimizing the LPBF processing *** to the heterogeneous nucleation effect of micron-sized Fe particles,both grain refinement and texture weakening are generated in the NiTiFe alloys,accompanied by the reduction of dislocation *** the room-temperature mechanical properties,the NiTi-3Fe alloy shows the highest microhardness of HV370,but the fracture strength and elongation reduce to1701 MPa and 23%*** evolution of mechanical properties is attributed to the high internal defects,low dislocation density and the incoherent ***,the NiTi-3Fe alloy shows the quasi-linear superelasticity behavior;the superelastic recoverable strain of NiTi-1Fe and NiTi-2Fe decreased with the increase in Fe *** study provided a new-fangled insight for the development of multi-component NiTi-based shape memory alloys by additive manufacturing.

Background Alternating hemiplegia of childhood(AHC)is a rare pediatric syndrome characterized by recurring episodes of hemiplegia or quadriplegia,and frequently accompanied by dystonic posturing,choreoathetosis movements,anomalous ocular motions,and a gradual deterioration in cognitive *** principal etiology of this disorder is traced back to mutations in the ATP1A3 *** presentation Here,we report a 16-year-old girl with recurrent hemiplegia since her *** patient has experienced paroxysmal limb weakness and aphasia for over 15 years,and has kept seeking medical attention but without receiving effective treatment.A misdiagnosis of hysteria persisted for over 4 years until the patient’s admission to our ***-exome sequencing identified a known pathogenic heterozygous c.2270T>C(***757Pro)mutation in her ATP1A3 ***,her clinical manifestations,including pathological emotional responses and autonomic dysfunction,differed from the established profile associated with the same ATP1A3 mutation,which typically present with intellectual disability,a rostrocaudal symptom gradient,choreoathetosis,and *** patient was finally diagnosed with AHC and treated with flunarizine thus significantly ameliorated hemiplegic *** This case enhances our understanding of the intricate clinical manifestations of AHC,which require careful differentiation from various diseases such as epilepsy,hysteria,and paroxysmal *** the diagnosis of patients presenting with suspected symptoms,adhering to a systematic approach for localizing and diagnosing neurological disorders is crucial to prevent misdiagnosis and inappropriate ***,when AHC is suspected in a patient,genetic testing should be considered as part of the diagnostic approach.

Exposure to heat stress causes diminished work performance and leads to economic *** the last two decades,China has experienced both rapid economic development and environmental warming;however,the spatiotemporal variations of association between environmental heat and labor loss have been rarely investigated behind this double ***,we evaluated the variation in China's heat-induced labor productivity loss and related economic cost from 2001 to 2019 and investigated the effect of economic development and regional *** found that decline in labor productivity because of heat stress increased significantly(p<0.05 for heavy-intensity work),and the corresponding economic loss also exhibited a drastic increase by 6-to *** relative economic loss showed a slight but nonsignificant increase with an average value of 0.54%of the annual total *** the sub-regional and sectoral level,adverse effects were more prominent in the southeast region,and the secondary industry sectors,such as construction and manufacturing,contributed to larger proportions of economic *** transformation of industrial structure made economic sectors more vulnerable to heat exposure,and increasingly preventive effects of air-conditioning use were noted on economic damage due to heat-induced productivity decline(36.0%relative economic benefits in 2019 compared to 9.7%in 2001).Our findings could provide a deep insight into heat burden on occupational health and heat adaptation strategies regionally under climate change,especially in developing areas with higher temperature and humidity environment.

Silicon quantum dots(SiQDs)with high water-soluble and favorable photostability were prepared by a one-step hydrothermal *** average diameter of SiQDs was 2.02 nm characterized by transmission electron *** was to be noted that the as-prepared SiQDs showed eff ective antibacterial activity,which was attributed to electrostatic interaction and the generation of reactive oxygen *** minimum inhibitory concentration of SiQDs against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus was 0.45 mg/mL and 0.38 mg/mL,***,based on the static quenching eff ect-induced fluorescence quenching mechanism,the SiQDs exhibited high sensitivity and selectivity for detecting tetracyclines(TC).A good linear relationship was obtained between the fluorescence intensity of SiQDs and the concentration of tetracycline(TC)in the range of 0–0.08μmol/L(R^(2)=0.9993)with a detection limit of 0.0176μmol/***,the TC content in the honey samples was determined using the *** the results suggest that the as-prepared SiQDs can be a potential fluorescent probe for application in antibacterial and analysis.
