Femtosecond laser-induced nanoparticle implantation into flexible substrate for sensitive and reusable microfluidics SERS detection

Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy(SERS)microfluidic system,which enables rapid detection of chemical and biological analytes,offers an effective platform to monitor various food contaminants and disease *** efficacy of SERS microfluidic systems is greatly dependent on the sensitivity and reusability of SERS detection substrates to ensure repeated use for prolonged *** study proposed a novel process of femtosecond laser nanoparticle array(NPA)implantation to achieve homogeneous forward transfer of gold NPA on a flexible polymer film and accurately integrated it within microfluidic chips for SERS *** implanted Au-NPA strips show a remarkable electromagnetic field enhancement with the factor of 9×108 during SERS detection of malachite green(MG)solution,achieving a detection limit lower than 10 ppt,far better than most laser-prepared SERS ***,Au-NPA strips show excellent reusability after several physical and chemical cleaning,because of the robust embedment of laser-implanted NPA in flexible *** demonstrate the performance of Au-NPA,a SERS microfluidic system is built to monitor the online oxidation reaction between MG/NaClO reactants,which helps infer the reaction *** proposed method of nanoparticle implantation is more effective than the direct laser structuring *** provides better performance for SERS detection,robustness of detection,and substrate flexibility and has a wider range of applications for microfluidic systems without any negative impact.

Superexchange and charge transfer in the nickelate superconductor La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(7) under pressure

Recently, a bulk nickelate superconductor La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(7) is discovered at pressures with a remarkable high transition temperature T_(c)~ 80 K. Here, we study a Hubbard model with tight-binding parameters derived from ab initio calculations of La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(7),by employing large scale determinant quantum Monte Carlo and cellular dynamical mean-field theory. Our result suggests that the superexchange couplings in this system are comparable to that of cuprates. The system is a charge transfer insulator as the hole concentration becomes four per site at large Hubbard U. Upon hole doping, two low-energy spin-singlet bands emerge in the system exhibiting distinct correlation properties: while the one composed of the out-of-plane Ni-d_(3z^(2)-r^(2)) and O-p_(z) orbitals demonstrates strong antiferromagnetic correlations and narrow effective bandwidth, the in-plane singlet band consisting of the Ni-d_(x^(2)-y^(2)) and O-p_(x)/p_(y) orbitals is in general more itinerant. Over a broad range of hole doping, the doped holes occupy primarily the d_(x^(2)-y^(2)) and p_(x)/p_(y) orbitals, whereas the d_(3z^(2)-r^(2)) and p_(z) orbitals retain underdoped. We propose an effective t-J model to capture the relevant physics and discuss the implications of our result for comprehending the La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(7) superconductivity.

Improving IEC thermal model for oil natural air natural transformers using optimised parameters based on dynamic simulation

Accurate assessment of hot-spot temperature is essential for the safe operation of power *** dynamic thermal models cannot estimate hot-spot temperature accurately since some input parameters are roughly determined by transformer capacity and cooling mode while ignoring the effect of winding structure,tank dimensions,and material physical *** improve the accuracy of temperature assessment,empirical parameters of the IEC thermal model including thermal constants,winding and oil exponents are optimised with the help of numerical simulation in this *** on energy conservation and heat transfer theory,a computational fluid dynamic(CFD)model of a transformer in oil natural air natural(ONAN)cooling mode is *** CFD model simulates the entity's structure,sizes,and multi-stage heat dissipation processes realistically,so it can more precisely calculate the dynamic hot-spot *** to the simulated temperature curves at different operating conditions,the thermal constants and oil exponent are estimated using non-linear regression,and the winding exponent is optimised using linear regression.A case study is conducted on an ONAN *** shows the improved IEC model with optimised parameters can more accurately evaluate hot-spot temperature,and the absolute error is decreased by 2.4 K(38.7%)compared with traditional thermal models.

Inhibiting MMP13 Attenuates Deep Vein Thrombosis in a Mouse Model by Reducing the Expression of Pdpn

A New High-Precision and Lightweight Detection Model for Illegal Construction Objects Based on Deep Learning

Illegal construction has caused serious harm around the world. However, current methods are difficult to detect illegal construction activities in time, and the calculation complexity and the parameters of them are large. To solve these challenges, a new and unique detection method is proposed, which detects objects related to illegal buildings in time to discover illegal construction activities. Meanwhile, a new dataset and a high-precision and lightweight detector are proposed. The proposed detector is based on the algorithm You Only Look Once (YOLOv4). The use of DenseNet as the backbone of YDHNet enables better feature transfer and reuse, improves detection accuracy, and reduces computational costs. Meanwhile, depthwise separable convolution is employed to lightweight the neck and head to further reduce computational costs. Furthermore, H-swish is utilized to enhance non-linear feature extraction and improve detection accuracy. Experimental results illustrate that YDHNet realizes a mean average precision of 89.60% on the proposed dataset, which is 3.78% higher than YOLOv4. The computational cost and parameter count of YDHNet are 26.22 GFLOPs and 16.18 MB, respectively. Compared to YOLOv4 and other detectors, YDHNet not only has lower computational costs and higher detection accuracy, but also timely identifies illegal construction objects and automatically detects illegal construction activities.

Surface reconstruction yields real active species in electrochemical oxygen evolution reaction(OER)conditions;however,rationally regulating reconstruction in a targeted manner for constructing highly active OER electrocatalysts remains a formidable ***,an electrochemical activation strategy with selective etching was utilized to guide the reconstruction process of a hybrid cobalt-molybdenum oxide(CoMoO_(4)/Co_(3)O_(4)@CC)in a favorable direction to improve the OER *** in-situ Raman and multiple ex-situ characterization tools demonstrate that controlled surface reconstruction can be easily achieved through Mo etching,with the formation of a dynamically stable amorphous-crystalline *** calculations together with experimental results reveal that the synergistic effects between amorphous CoOOH and crystalline Co_(3)O_(4) are crucial in enhancing the catalytic ***,the reconstructed CoMoO_(4)/Co_(3)O_(4)@CC exhibits a low overpotential of 250 mV to achieve a current density of 10 mA cm^(-2) in 1 M KOH,and more importantly it can be practiced in electrolytic water splitting and rechargeable zinc-air batteries devices,achieving ultra-long stability for over 500 and 1200 h,*** work provides a promising route for the construction of high-performance electrocatalysts.

A robust vector tracking loop structure based on potential bias analysis

This paper proposes a robust vector tracking loop structure based on potential bias analysis. The influence of four kinds of biases on the existing two implementations of Vector Tracking Loops(VTLs) is illustrated by theoretical analysis and numerical simulations, and the following findings are obtained. Firstly, the initial user state bias leads to steady navigation solution bias in the relative VTL, while new measurements can eliminate it in the absolute VTL. Secondly, the initial code phase bias is transferred to the following navigation solutions in the relative VTL, while new measurements can eliminate it in the absolute VTL. Thirdly, the user state bias induced by erroneous navigation solution of VTLs can be eliminated by both of the two VTLs. Fourthly,the multipath/NLOS likely affects the two VTLs, and the induced tracking bias in the duration of the multipath/NLOS would decrease the performance of VTLs. Based on the above analysis,a robust VTL structure is proposed, where the absolute VTL is selected for its robustness to the two kinds of initialization biases;meanwhile, the instant bias detection and correction method is used to improve the performance of VTLs in the duration of the multipath/NLOS. Numerical simulations and experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed robust VTL structure.

Parboiled rice supplementation alleviates high-fat diet-induced hyperlipidemia by regulating genes and gut microbiota in mice

Dietary parboiled rice(PR)has a low risk of disease,but little is known about the contribution of PR to the prevention of *** potential role and underlying mechanisms of PR in hyperlipidemia were evaluated in this *** C57BL/6J mice were fed with a normal diet,high-fat diet(HFD)containing refined rice(HFDRR)or PR(HFDPR).It was found that PR intervention improved lipid accumulation in *** data analysis revealed that 27 genes were up-regulated(mostly involved in lipid breakdown)and 86 genes were down-regulated(mostly involved in inflammatory responses)in the HFDPR group compared to the HFDRR *** 15 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were validated by quantitative real-time PCR(RT-qPCR),while protein interaction network showed that protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type C(PTPRC)has a central *** gut microbiota of mice was also altered after different dietary treatments,with higher ratio of Firmicutes and Bacteroidetes,increased abundances of Ruminococcaceae,Lachnospiraceae,Christensenellaceae,Porphyromonadaceae,Rikenellaceae and Prevotellaceae,and decreased abundances of Lactobacillaceae,Peptostreptococcaceae,Erysipelotrichaceae and Actinobacteria in the HFDRR *** addition,it was observed that PPAR signaling pathway may act as a bridge between DEGs and differential gut *** results suggested that PR can prevent hyperlipidemia by modulating liver genes and gut microbiota.

Effect of solvent on the initiation mechanism of living anionic polymerization of styrene:A computational study

For living anionic polymerization(LAP),solvent has a great influence on both reaction mechanism and *** this work,by using the classical butyl lithium-styrene polymerization as a model system,the effect of solvent on the mechanism and kinetics of LAP was revealed through a strategy combining density functional theory(DFT)calculations and kinetic *** terms of mechanism,it is found that the stronger the solvent polarity,the more electrons transfer from initiator to solvent through detailed energy decomposition analysis of electrostatic interactions between initiator and solvent ***,we also found that the stronger the solvent polarity,the higher the monomer initiation energy barrier and the smaller the initiation rate ***,initiation is more favorable at lower temperatures based on the calculated results ofΔG_(TS).Finally,the kinetic characteristics in different solvents were further examined by kinetic *** is found that in benzene and n-pentane,the polymerization rate exhibits first-order ***,slow initiation and fast propagation were observed in tetrahydrofuran(THF)due to the slow free ion formation rate,leading to a deviation from first-order kinetics.
