A Short-wave UV Nonlinear Optical Sulfate of High Thermal Stability

Compared with borates, carbonates, nitrates and phosphates, sulfates have been ignored as nonlinear optical(NLO) materials for a long time. Recently, researchers started to realize sulfates which have the potential as NLO materials, and synthesized some sulfate NLO materials by the water solution method and solvothermal method. However, all these sulfate NLO materials have the same problem of low thermal stability. Here, we synthesized a new Cs4 Mg6(SO4)8, which crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group P212121 with a = 9.102, b = 9.955, c = 16.127 ?, V = 1461.3 ?3, Z = 2, F(000) = 1352, μ = 5.777 mm-1, R = 0.0213 and wR = 0.0480. The single crystal structure can be described as a three-dimensional framework constructed by MgO6 octahedra and SO4 tetrahedra. Relevant optical measurements indicate that Cs4 Mg6(SO4)8 is short-wave ultraviolet transparent and has a moderate second harmonic generation response. Theoretical calculations by the CASTEP package reveal that S–O groups are NLO-active anionic groups. Significantly, Cs4 Mg6(SO4)8 has high thermal stability up to 781 ℃ based on thermal analyses. We believe that our work will provide a new strategy for researchers to develop new sulfate short-wave ultraviolet NLO materials of high thermal stability.

The as-cast amorphous Ti_(48)Zr_(27)Cu_(6)Nb_(5)Be_(14)composites,comprising in situ formedβ-Ti ductile crystalline precipitates,were prepared by water cooled copper mold suction ***,the semi-solid composites were obtained after the as-cast composites were treated by semi-solid isothermal *** microstructure evolution and kinetics of the composites were *** show that the microstructures of both the as-cast and semi-solid composites comprise ofβ-Ti crystal phases and amorphous matrix *** and after treatment,the crystals evolve from fine granular or fine dendritic crystals to coarse *** the treatment temperature increasing or the time prolonging,the average crystal size gradually increases and the surface morphology of the crystals gradually becomes *** studying the microstructural evolution and dynamics during the isothermal treatment process,it is found that the final morphology ofβ-Ti crystals is influenced by the isothermal treatment temperature and time(t),and theβ-Ti evolution rate increases with an increase in treatment *** addition,a linear relationship was observed between the size of cubicβ-Ti crystals(D^(3))and t;the growth kinetics factor K is 3.8μm^(3)·s^(-1).As the K value closes to 4μm^(3)·s^(-1),it is inferred the morphology evolution ofβ-Ti crystals is a coarsening behavior controlled by the diffusion of solute elements.

Synthesis, Structure, and the Second-order Nonlinear Optical Properties of a Borate-carboxylic Acid Compound: KB[L-（-）-C4H4O5]2·H2O

A new organic-inorganic hybrid noncentrosymmetric potassium bis(malic acid)-borates KB(L-(-)-C4H4O5)2·H2O was synthesized by solution method. It was characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, TGA and single-crystal X-ray crystallography. It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with a = 5.546(6), b = 11.985(13), c = 9.952(11) ?, β = 97.522(17)°, V = 655.8(13) ?3, Z = 2, Dc = 1.682 g/cm3, μ(MoKa) = 0.46 mm–1 and F(000) = 340. 5009 reflections were measured and 2893 independent reflections(Rint = 0.051) were used for further refinement. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction reveals that the complex exhibits a threedimensional pseudo tunnel structure consisting of fundamental building block [B(L-(-)-C4H4O5)2]– anions. The small cavities are occupied by the H2O molecules, which stabilize the whole structure by O–H×××O hydrogen bonds. The complex exhibits nonlinear optical effect as high as 1.5 times that of KDP standard.

Electrocatalytic performance of CNTs/graphene composited rare earth phthalocyanines(M=La,Y,Yb,Sc)

In this study,a class of rare earth composite sandwich phthalocyanines(MPcs,M=La,Y,Yb,Sc) were prepared and compounded with graphene and carbon nanotubes to obtain MPc/Gr and MPc/CNTs *** electrocatalytic behaviors of MPc/Gr and MPc/CNTs electrodes were further *** results show that the central rare earth metal has a large influence on the electrocatalytic *** the MPcs/Gr samples,ScPc with the smallest ionic radius and molecular size can be more uniformly dispersed in graphene,and the hydrogen precipitation overpotential of ScPc/Gr electrode is514 mV,corresponding to a Tafel slope of 148 mV/dec,with better electrocatalytic performance than other rare earth metal *** for the MPc/CNTs composites,LaPc,which has the largest ionic radius and molecular size,is more uniformly dispersed on the surface of CNTs,so that the LaPc/CNT electrode exhibits the best LSV performance with the smallest corresponding Tafel slope(176 mV/dec).The main reason is the different binding modes of MPcs molecules in Gr and *** rare earth phthalocyanine is combined with layered graphene,the smallest size of rare earth phthalocyanine(ScPc)is more easily embedded in the graphene layer,resulting in better homogeneity of the composite,larger effective contact area and better electrocatalytic *** contrast,when rare earth phthalocyanine is bound to carbon nanotubes in a tubular structure,it is mainly bound by attaching to the surface or being entangled by the carbon *** this case,the rare-earth phthalocyanine molecules(LaPc)with larger layer spacing can provide more contact area with CNTs,forming a more uniform and effective composite,which eventually provides more active sites and better electrocatalytic performance.

The high temperature oxidation behavior of Al Si coatings on the Ni base superalloy DZ125, with and without the ambient temperature corrosion test, was investigated. The results show that the isothermal oxidation behavior of the corroded coating changes, which has the higher mass gain than that of the original coating during the initial oxidation stage. In this work,a conventional HfO_(2) gate dielectric layer is replaced with a 3-nm ferroelectric(Fe) HZO layer in the gate stacks of advanced fin field-effect transistors(FinFETs).Fe-induced characteristics,e.g.,negative drain induced barrier lowering(N-DIBL) and negative differential resistance(NDR),are clearly observed for both p-and n-type HZO-based *** characteristics are attributed to the enhanced ferroelectricity of the 3-nm hafnium zirconium oxide(HZO) film,caused by Al doping from the TiAlC capping *** mechanism is verified for capacitors with structures similar to the *** to the enhanced ferroelectricity and N-DIBL phenomenon,the drain current(I_(DS))of the HZO-FinFETs is greater than that of HfO_(2)-FinFETs and obtained at a lower operating ***,circuits based on HZO-FinFET achieve higher performance than those based on HfO_(2)-FinFET at a low voltage drain(V_(DD)),which indicates the application feasibility of the HZO-FinFETs in the ultralow power integrated circuits.

“两湖流域”作为典型的喀斯特高原湖泊,同时也是黔中地区主要的水源地之一,如何科学评估其生态系统服务价值并掌握其生态环境动态变化趋势,对于整个黔中城市群的绿色高质量发展有着重要的实际意义。基于1980、2000及2020年土地遥感解译数据,以价值当量因子法为基础研究方法,同时结合空间相关性分析、热点分析、地形分析及生态敏感性分析等对该流域1980—2020年近40年间的生态系统服务价值时空演变特征进行识别。结果表明:1)ESV总量呈现逐步下降的趋势,在1980—2000年阶段减少约585.84×10^(4)元,2000—2020年阶段减少约8838.60×10^(4)元,减少的原因主要为建设用地的大量扩张、高生态效益地类大批转换为低生态效益的地类等;2)水文调节为ESV贡献值最大的生态系统服务类型,ESV高值区集中分布于流域的中上部湖泊处,中值区分布于东南部林地集中处,低值区主要分布于流域南部耕地较多的地方;3)各用地类型CS敏感性指数计算值均小于1,且ESV变化量的冷热点空间分布格局与其土地利用类型转移方式具有相似性,冷点区出现的主要原因为城市的持续性扩张、林草地等生态用地被占用等,而热点区的涌现则是由于“退耕还林”“封山育林”等政策的实施;4)在4种地貌类型中,单位区域面积的ESV大小从高到低排列依次为山脊(1.48×10^(4)元/hm^(2))>峡谷底(1.44×10^(4)元/hm^(2))>平坦区(1.40×10^(4)元/hm^(2))>陡坡(1.37×10^(4)元/hm^(2)),而地表粗糙度ESV等级排序为Ⅰ>Ⅱ>Ⅲ>Ⅳ。本研究结果可为黔中地区未来生态效益价值核算、城市规划与绿色发展提供理论支持。

Deep geothermal resources in the Fujian-Guangdong-Hainan region,China,offer significant potential for sustainable *** diverse igneous rock formations along the southeast coast present intricate geological challenges that impede exploration and evaluation *** this study,we address critical concerns related to the Fujian-Guangdong-Hainan region's deep geothermal resources,encompassing heat source composition,formation conditions,strategic favorable areas,and exploration *** methods involve the analysis of regional geothermal reservoirs and cap *** findings include:the primary heat sources in the Fujian-Guangdong-Hainan region consist of the radioactive heat generation from granites in the crust,heat conduction in the mantle,and,in specific areas like Yangjiang and Shantou,melts within the middle and lower crust;the deep,high-temperature geothermal resources in the region predominantly reside in basins'depressed *** areas are characterized by the confluence of triple heat sources:heat from the Earth's crust,mantle,and other supplementary sources;our analysis led to the identification of three strategic areas favorable for deep geothermal resources in the Fujian-Guangdong-Hainan *** are the Beibu Gulf Basin's continental area,the Yuezhong Depression,and the Fuzhou-Zhangzhou area.

Icariin ameliorates viral myocarditis by inhibiting TLR4-mediated ferroptosis

Objective:To explore the mechanism by which icariin alleviates viral ***:CVB3-induced cardiomyocytes were used as an in vitro model of viral myocarditis to assess the effects of icariin treatment on cell viability,inflammation,and ***,the effects of icariin on ferroptosis and TLR4 signaling were *** AC16 cells were transfected with TLR4 overexpression plasmids,the role of TLR4 in mediating the regulatory effect of icariin in viral myocarditis was ***:Icariin significantly elevated cell viability and reduced inflammatory factors TNF-α,IL-1β,IL-6,and *** cytometry revealed that icariin decreased apoptosis rate,and the protein expression of Bax and cleaved caspase 3 and 9 in CVB3-induced ***,it suppressed ferroptosis including lipid peroxidation and ferrous ion,as well as the TLR4 ***,TLR4 overexpression abrogated the modulatory effects of ***:Icariin mitigates CVB3-induced myocardial injury by inhibiting TLR4-mediated *** animal study is needed to verify its efficacy.
