AIM： To investigate the expression of succinate receptor GPR91 and its pathogenic roles in Mooren＇s ulcer（MU）.METHODS： Biopsy specimens were obtained from 7 patients with MU and 6 healthy donors. The expression of GPR91 in MU tissues was evaluated using quantitative realtime reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction（qRTPCR） and immunohistochemistry（IHC）. Succinate was used to activate GPR91 signaling, and the effect of GPR91 on the expression of interleukin-1β（IL-1β）, NLRP3, vascular endothelial growth factor（VEGF） and matrix metalloproteinase-13（MMP-13） in human peripheral blood mononuclear cells（PBMCs） was determined. The influence of GPR91 on the nuclear factor-κB（NF-κB） signaling in PBMCs was investigated by detecting the phosphorylation of p65. Moreover, the expression of IL-1β, VEGF, MMP-13 and phosphorylated p65（p-p65） in the tissues of MU was examined by qRT-PCR or ***： GPR91 mRNA expression showed a higher level in the MU group than in the healthy control group. IHC analysis also revealed that the expression of GPR91 was elevated in patients with MU compared with healthy controls. Moreover, ligation of GPR91 with succinate promoted the lipopolysaccharide-induced production of NLRP3, IL-1β, VEGF and MMP-13 in PBMCs through increased phosphorylation of p65. Pharmacological inhibition of the NF-κB signaling reversed GPR91 induced production of NLRP3, IL-1β, VEGF and MMP-13. These findings, coupled with the elevated amounts of IL-1β, VEGF, MMP-13 and p-p65 observed in the MU biopsies, constituted a rational basis for the involvement of GPR91 in the pathogenesis of ***： This study indicates the increased succinate receptor GPR91 in conjunctival or corneal tissues is involved in the pathogenesis of MU through elevated NF-κB activity, which may provide a new therapeutic target for MU.

Objectives Behçet’s syndrome(BS)is a rare disease of unknown etiology,with limited reports especially in pediatric *** clinical characteristics and phenotypes of pediatric BS as a highly heterogeneous variable vessel vasculitis were investigated in this *** A cross-sectional study was conducted to compare clinical variables and descriptive characteristics of BS by age of onset and *** analysis was then performed to identify the phenotypes of pediatric *** A total of 2082 BS patients were included in this study,1834 adults and 248 *** with adult-onset BS,pediatric BS had a higher incidence of folliculitis[relative risks(RR)and 95%confidence interval(CI)1.3(1.0–1.5)],uveitis of the left eye[RR and 95%CI 2.3(1.0–5.0)],intestinal ulcer complications[RR and 95%CI 2.1(1.1–4.2)],pericarditis[RR and 95%CI 2.5(1.0–6.2)],and psychiatric disorders[RR and 95%CI 2.8(1.0–7.9)],while the incidence of thrombocytopenia was lower[RR 0.2(0.1–1.0)].Among pediatric BS,females had more genital ulcers,while males were more likely to have skin lesions,panuveitis,vascular involvement,venous lesions,cardiac involvement,and aortic *** analysis classified pediatric BS into five clusters(C1–C5):C1(n=61,24.6%)showed gastrointestinal(GI)involvement;C2(n=44,17.7%)was the central nervous system(CNS)type where 23 cases overlapped joint involvement;in C3(n=35,14.1%),all patients presented with arthritis or arthralgia;all patients in C4(n=29,11.7%)manifested ocular involvement,with a few patients overlapping with GI involvement or joint damage;C5(n=79,31.9%)was the mucocutaneous type,presenting both oral ulcers,genital ulcers,and skin *** The clinical features of pediatric and adult BS differ *** and female pediatric BS also have a distinct *** phenotypes including GI,CNS,joint,ocular,and mucocutaneous types were identified for pediatric BS.

本文研究了还原氧化石墨烯薄膜(Reduced graphene Oxide Film,rGOF)在500 keV不同注量下的电子辐照效应,分别测定辐照前后r GOF的电学性能、结构缺陷、表面化学组成、表面形貌、层片间距和热稳定性。结果表明:经电子辐照后,材料表面的电阻值增大,有辐射诱导缺陷形成,sp^(2)和sp^(3)碳以及含氧官能团含量均发生变化,热稳定性略有提高,石墨烯层片间距变大。FLUKA计算结果表明高能电子能够穿透石墨烯薄膜。分析表明rGOF辐照前后电性能的变化是由缺陷、结构紊乱、含氧官能团和C/O原子比变化引起的。

In this paper, a series of kelp-derived porous carbon（KPC） materials were prepared from kelp by using a pyrolysisactivation method, where KOH with a fixed ratio was applied as the activator under varying activation temperature. Eventually, the KPC-based capacitive deionization（CDI） system showed excellent desalination performance, and the desalination capacity of KPC with an activation temperature of 800°C was highest, reaching 51.33 mgNaClg-1at 1.2 V. This work implies the trade-off effect of the activation temperature for the preparation and application of biomass-derived carbon materials, and provides some insights for carbon-based CDI materials.

p27 is a cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor that regulates the progression of cells from G1 to S phase of the cell cycle. Loss of p27 has been associated with disease progression and with an unfavourable outcome in prostate cancer. In this study, we investigated whether exogenous p27 expression in the human androgen-independent prostate cancer PC3 cell line had any effect on cell growth, and we studied the molecular mechanisms involved. p27 expression was restored in PC3 cells by plasmid delivery. Cell proliferation and apoptosis were assessed in PC3 cells transfected with p27. We also investigated the effects of p27 on the epidermal growth factor receptor （EGFR）/ phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase （PI3K）/Akt signalling pathway in PC3 cells. By restoring p27 expression in PC3 cells, we observed that p27 reduced proliferation and induced arrest in G0/G1 phase. Moreover, p27-transfected PC3 cells underwent apoptosis, as shown by flow cytometric analysis and western blotting analysis of Bcl-2, Bax, Bad, caspase-3 and poly（ADP-ribose）polymerase expression. Furthermore, the p27-induced anti-tumour action corre- lated with inhibition of the EGFR/PI3K/Akt signalling pathway, as confirmed by western blotting analysis and densitometry of EGFR, PI3K （p85）, Akt and p-Akts473 expression. Our results suggest that exogenous expression of p27 inhibits the proliferation of PC3 cells through induction of G1 arrest and apoptosis, and this process correlates with inhibition of the EGFR/PI3K/Akt signalling pathway.

Objective:To explore the association between the Lung Immune Prognostic Index(LIPI)and 1-year all-cause mortality in patients with idiopathic inflammatory myopathy related interstitial lung disease(IIM-ILD).Methods:Patients who were diagnosed with IIM-ILD at West China Hospital,Sichuan University from January 2008 to December 2021 were retrospectively included and categorized into three groups based on *** and multivariable Cox proportional hazards models were conducted to explore potential association between the LIPI and patients'***:A total of 1116 patients were screened,and 830 were included in this *** multivariable Cox analysis showed that,compared with patients with poor LIPI,the hazard ratio(HR)for all-cause 1-year mortality was 0.22(95%CI 0.05-0.93,P=0.04)for patients in the good LIPI group(LDH<250 IU/L and dNLR<3).After excluding patients lost to follow-up within one year,a similar result was found for LIPI(HR 0.20,95%CI 0.05-0.86;P=0.03).Conclusions:Good LIPI was independently associated with decreased risk of all-cause 1-year mortality in patients with *** easy-to-obtain index might be served as a potential marker for assessing the prognosis of IIM-ILD.
