The historical relationships of nine areas of endemism of the tropical montane cloud forests(TMCFs)were analysed based on a temporal cladistic biogeographical *** cladistic biogeographical analyses were conducted based on 29cladograms of terrestrial taxa by partitioning them into three time-slices,namely,Miocene,Pliocene,and *** results showed different area relationships over *** the Miocene and Pliocene time slices,the Isthmus of Tehuantepec acted as a geographic barrier that fragmented the TMCFs into two portions:west of the Isthmus and east of the *** the case of the Pleistocene,the TMCFs were broken into two portions,one related to the Neotropical region and the other to the Nearctic ***,the analyses allowed us to detect the influences of different geological and paleoclimatological events on the distribution of the TMCFs over ***,the TMCFs current distribution might have been driven by geological events during the Miocene-Pliocene,whereas climatic fluctuations have the highest impact during the Pleistocene.

We analyzed the distributional patterns of95 selected species of leptosporangiate ferns inhabiting the Mexican Mountain Component, using grid-cells of one geographical degree as unit areas,applying endemism indices and richness and beta diversity *** data were obtained from several herbaria and specialized *** grid-cells appear to be important for fern species richness, as they contain 35 to 49 *** gridcells are located in the Sierra Madre Oriental(SMO),Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt(TMVB) and the Sierra Madre del Sur(SMS).Mean richness by latitudinal belts of one degree showed that the belts with highest values are related to the TMVB and SMS.A total of 13grid-cells were recognized as important from theperspective of endemism; most of them are located also in the SMO, TMVB and *** richest gridcells coincided with one of the main centres of endemism for ferns obtained in this study, located in the convergence of the southern part of the SMO, the eastern portion of the TMVB and the northern part of the SMS, reflecting the high humidity existing on the mountain slopes facing the Gulf of *** important grid-cells recognized from richness and endemism analyses coincide with Mexican Natural Protected *** beta diversity analysis showed a low degree of similarity among grid-cells, implying a high species replacement, as the result of environmental heterogeneity occurring in the Mexican mountain *** the other hand, the spatial analysis suggested a pattern of phytogeographical regionalization comprising twomain areas: the Mexican Transition Zone and the Mexican Central *** play an important role in the Mexican biodiversity and contributing to the beta diversity of Mexico.

Background:Tropical montane cloud forests are one of the most important hotspots on Earth and show presence of relict-endemic and endangered species,representing about 14%of the total tropical forest *** seed production or masting in tropical montane cloud tree species is a widespread reproductive strategy of decidu-ous and evergreen broad-leaved tree associations to decrease costs of reproduction and ensure *** event maintains a high avian diversity,which can be modified by phenological process(seed production and non-seed production).Methods:The main aim of this study was to assess alpha and beta avian diversity and whether the composition of the trophic guild modifies among phenological processes and between two fragmented relict-endangered Mexican Beech(Fagus grandifolia ***)forests(Medio Monte and El Gosco)in the Mexican state of *** addi-tion,we evaluated beechnut ***:We recorded 36 bird species,11 of them included in some conservation risk status,and 5 endemic *** diversity values were dissimilar in avian richness(q=0)among phenological processes and between frag-mented beech *** communities among three phenological processes and between fragmented forests were structurally similar,dominated during immature seeds the Brown-backed Solitaire(granivores-insectivores-frugivores);during mature seeds the White-crowned Parrot(Pionus senilis,granivores-frugivores);and the Dwarf Jay(Cyanolyca nana,insectivores)was abundant during low seed *** complementarity index was high among phenological processes and low between *** found a high bird turnover value between immature seeds—mature seeds and during mature seeds—low seed ***,a similar pattern was recorded between the two study *** production showed a high number of undamaged beechnuts in Medio Monte,while in El Gosco beechnuts were attacked by ***:Our results reflect that masting

墨西哥是拉丁美洲经济大国和世界重要的矿业生产国。本文首次根据墨西哥全境全球尺度地球化学填图287件深层(C层)土壤组合样品铜元素含量测试结果,制作了1∶8000000 C层土壤铜地球化学图,从全球尺度角度研究了墨西哥C层土壤铜地球化学背景和空间分布特征,圈定了墨西哥铜主要地球化学异常,主要取得如下结论:(1)墨西哥全球尺度C层土壤铜含量为3.6~129.0μg/g,铜含量平均值和中位值分别为20.3和15.9μg/g,背景值为15.6μg/g。恰帕斯高原和南马德雷岛弧带构造单元中铜的中位值显著大于其他构造单元,背景值高于全境背景值。(2)墨西哥全球尺度C层土壤铜地球化学图显示,铜含量分布不均,总体呈南高北低、西高东低的格局。(3)墨西哥全球尺度C层土壤铜地球化学异常图共圈定铜地球化学异常10处,8处达到地球化学巨省规模,两处达到地球化学省规模。从铜地球化学信息和已有矿床的套合情况来看,墨西哥南部南马德雷山脉和恰帕斯山脉可能成为墨西哥铜的重要找矿远景区。

Aims We aimed to evaluate how climatic fluctuations influence the plasticity of anatomical vessel traits and the width of annual tree-rings of two relict-endemic Mexican Magnolia ***,few studies have assessed the drought effect on vessel traits in tropical montane cloud trees of eastern *** Through digital images of growth rings,we assessed the tree radial growth rate,age of the trees and plasticity in vessel traits regarding climatic fluctuations of the Mexican Magnolia species *** compared vessel density,hydraulic diameter and percentage of conductive area in drought years(DY)and non-drought years(NDY)in two Mexican Magnolia *** Findings For the first time,the plasticity that occurs in porous wood vessel traits to long-term climatic fluctuations was analysed for two endangered Magnolia species(Magnolia vovidesii and ***)from two tropical montane cloud forests in *** found that temperature and precipitation were strongly associated with differences in tree-ring width when DY and NDY were *** analyses revealed that a high plasticity in vessel anatomy of diffuse-porous wood was related to temperature and/or water availability for both Magnolia species *** concluded that anatomical adaptations to DY resulted in a substantial reduction in vessel traits when compared with NDY,and that the plastic adaptations played an essential role in water transport and safety for the survival of the studied species during stressful long periods.

The use of systems theory to attempt to determine which ＂place in La Mancha＂ was the one whose name Cervantes could not quite recall in his universal novel, appears to be ordained to change certain attitudes towards science held in Cervanfine literature. The reason： after four centuries of literary analysis, systemic methodology has proven able to identify the famous ＂place＂ with acceptable accuracy. Nonetheless, certain reasonable doubts persist around the suitability of a strictly scientific analysis of literature. In light of those doubts, the present article aims primarily to facilitate critique both of the systemic approach adopted and its outcome.

We introduce a new algebraic approach dealing with the problem of computing the topology of an arrangement of a finite set of real algebraic plane curves presented implicitly. The main achievement of the presented method is a complete avoidance of irrational numbers that appear when using the sweeping method in the classical way for solving the problem at hand. Therefore, it is worth mentioning that the efficiency of the proposed method is only assured for low-degree curves.

目的探讨影响住院医师规范化培训临床教师形成性评价(formative assessment,FA)实施的因素。方法回顾性选取2023年3—6月南京大学医学院附属鼓楼医院参加住院医师规范化培训的234名带教老师的问卷调查结果,分析住培带教老师对形成性评价的理解程度、形成性评价实施情况和影响临床教师形成性评价实施的因素。结果234名接受调查的带教老师中,非常熟悉形成性评价占10.68%(25/234),熟悉形成性评价占44.02%(103/234),了解形成性评价的占33.33%(78/234);其中23.50%(55/234)常规实施形成性评价;31.62%(74/234)偶有实施形成性评价。影响临床教学中形成性评价实施的多种因素中自我效能是影响住培带教老师形成性评价实施的主要个人因素(89/234,38.03%);内部支持性教学政策是影响住培带教老师形成性评价实施的主要外部因素(105/234,44.87%)。结论自我效能和内部支持性教育政策是影响住培带教老师形成性评价实施的最主要的个人因素和外部因素。

Two-phase flow in porous media is a very active field of research,due to its important applications in groundwater pollution,CO_(2)sequestration,or oil and gas production from petroleum reservoirs,just to name a few of *** flow equations,which make use of Darcy's law,for describing the movement of two immiscible fluids in a porous medium,are among the most relevant mathematical models in reservoir *** work aims to solve a fractional flow model formed by an elliptic equation,representing the spatial distribution of the pressure,and a hyperbolic equation describing the space-time evolution of water *** numerical solution of the elliptic part is obtained using a finite-element(FE)scheme,while the hyperbolic equation is solved by means of two dif-ferent numerical approaches,both in the finite-volume(FV)*** is based on a monotonic upstream-centered scheme for conservation laws(MUSCL)-Hancock scheme,whereas the other makes use of a weighted essentially non-oscillatory(ENO)*** both cases,a first-order centered(FORCE)-αnumerical scheme is applied for inter-cell flux reconstruction,which constitutes a new contribution in the field of fractional flow models describing oil-water movement.A relevant feature of this work is the study of the effect of the parameterαon the numerical solution of the models *** also show that,in the FORCE-αmethod,when the parameterαincreases,the errors diminish and the order of accuracy is more properly attained,as verified using a manufactured solution technique.

Metal halide perovskites(MHPs) are gaining increasing attention as low-cost, high-performance semiconductors for optoelectronics. In particular, their solution processing is compatible with the largescale manufacturing of thin-film devices, including solar cells and light-emitting *** the coordination chemistry in precursor-solvent solution and atomistic mechanisms of film formation is of great importance for optimizing the optoelectronic properties of the final *** the methylammonium lead triiodide(MAPbI_(3)) as an example, we study the complex evolution of the molecular species from the solution to the initial stage of the crystallization by using a combination of density functional theory(DFT) calculations and ab-initio molecular dynamics(AIMD) simulations. We focus on the widely employed solvents DMSO and DMF, analyze the structures and energies of the iodoplumbate complexes in the form of simple complex of [PbI_(m)L_(n)]^(2-m))_(x) and polymeric iodoplumbates of([PbI_(m)L_(n)]^(2-m))_(x). Based on the calculated formation enthalpies, we propose reaction schemes of MAPbI_(3) formation in DMSO, DMF and DMF-DMSO binary solvent and explain the advantages of the binary *** highlight the important role of NH...O hydrogen bonds in the formation of iodoplumbates *** calculations indicate unbalanced reaction energies at several elementary reaction steps in either DMF(formation of [PbI_(4)L_(n)]^(2-) being highly favourable) or DMSO(formation of [PbI_(5)L_(n)]^(3- )being retarded).Mixing a small amount of DMSO in DMF gives rise to a better balance in the energies and, therefore,potentially better equilibria in the overall crystallization process and better quality of the final perovskite films.
