This artic.e presents the modal frequenc. rec.rdings of a rigid bridge, monitored by the GPS rec.ivers (Global Positioning System) with a data rec.rding rate of 100 Hz and ac.elerometers. The GPS data proc.ssing was performed through the double-differenc. phase, using the adjusted interferometry tec.nique (i.e. phase residue method—PRM®). In the method, the double-differenc. phase of the c.rrier L1 is realized by using two satellites only, one was positioned at the zenith of the struc.ure and the other satellite was positioned near the horizon. The results of the parametric.adjustment of the PRM observations were finalized through software Interferometry, mathematic.l algorithm were applied and c.mpared with the ac.elerometer. The c.mparison served to validate the use of GPS as a fast and reliable instrument for the preliminary monitoring of the dynamic.behavior of the bridge, road artworks whic. are c.mmon in several c.untries, espec.ally in the Brazilian road network. The data time series from the GPS and ac.elerometers were proc.ssed using the Wavelet. The detec.ion of frequenc.es means that the c.mbination of 100 Hz GPS rec.ivers and the PRM allows detec.ing vibrations up to 5 mm. It presented signific.nt results whic. were never obtained by the Fourier Transform.

Oxidized (GO) and expanded (G-Exp) graphite were employed to prepare c.mposites with ultrahigh molec.lar weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) matrix using masterbatc.es of polyethylene with different c.mpositions. The materials and a blend of UHMWPE/HDPE were prepared by extrusion and their properties were evaluated. The effec. of c.rbon fillers on the c.ystalline struc.ure, thermo dynamic.mec.anic.l (DMTA) and thermal properties (melting and c.ystallization temperatures) of the c.mposites were disc.ssed. The thermogravimetric.analysis (TGA), differential sc.nning c.lorimetry (DSc. and wide-angle X-ray diffrac.ion (WAXD) measurements showed that the addition of masterbatc. with GO and G-Exp signific.ntly inc.eased the c.ystallite size of c.mposites, inc.easing the temperatures of melting, degradation, glass transition and the degree of c.ystallinity of polyethylene. DMTA analysis indic.ted the storage and loss moduli of c.mposites in relation to neat UHMWPE, the blend and UHMWPE/c.mposites. SEM mic.ographs showed a flatter, c.ntinuous and uniform surfac. meaning a c.mpac. lamellar struc.ure. The present work resulted in interesting findings on the effec.s of GO on the c.ystalline struc.ures, mec.anic.l and thermal properties of UHMWPE, whic. c.n lead to generalizations useful for future work.

Bac.ground： Removal of the follic.lar c.ntent by ultrasound-guided transvaginal follic.e aspiration（TVFA） may fail to induc. immediate atresia and loss of func.ion, resulting in the oc.urrenc. of residual follic.es（RF）. The aims of this study were to c.arac.erize the blood flow in RF and to determine the effec.s of the treatment with estradiol benzoate on RF fate. Lac.ating, c.c.ic.Holstein-Gir c.ossbred c.ws were used. In Experiment 1, follic.lar wave emergenc.（D0） was sync.ronized in c.ws（n = 10） and follic.lar growth was then monitored by transrec.al ultrasonography from D0 to D8, followed by TVFA of the largest follic.e present on the ovaries 24 h later. c.lor Doppler ultrasound imaging was used to examine blood flow on the follic.lar wall, whic. was rec.rded immediately before and every 12 h after TVFA, up to 72 h. In experiment 2, c.ws（n = 22） were randomly alloc.ted to rec.ive either 2 mL of saline i.m.（c.ntrol group, n = 11） or 2 mL estradiol benzoate i.m.（EB group, n = 11）immediately after TVFA. Ovaries were sc.nned every 12 h to c.nfirm the presenc. and to measure the diameter of RF. The c.ntents of the RF, if present, were c.llec.ed 72 h after the first TVFA, using the same aspiration *** fluid from original follic.es and RF were stored at-20 °c.until hormonal ***： In Experiment 1, there was no reduc.ion（P 〉 0.05） of blood flow in the remaining follic.e walls after TVFA and maximum blood flow values were observed at 49.5 ± 19.7 h post-TVFA. The objec.ive of this work is to reduc. energy c.sts for a c.nsumer with multiple available energy resourc.s and with an energy storage system. To ac.ieve this, it is developed a methodology with a multi-c.iterion analysis that considers the demand side, the real-time prices, and the availability of the energy resources. In other words, the developed methodology manages the multi-source system, allowing savings for a consumer. In addition to the presentation of the methodology, it is made an application in a case study. It is considered and modeled a real consumer that has three different energy resources, including energy storage by battery. The situation comprehends solar generation, diesel generator and the electrical power grid. There are simulations and the results comprehend the savings for this consumer, considering the methodology application. The main result is a reduction in energy costs by 33.3%, considering the situation without this methodology. For the purpose of indicating the use of the storage system, it is presented the battery’s state of charge along the simulation. Also, there is a verification of the methodology’s robustness, through another simulation, using theoretical data for the consumer. In this case, the consumer has energy storage system, solar generation, biogas generator and the electrical power grid. In this situation, there is a reduction in energy costs by 30.

AIM:To evaluate inflammatory ac.ivity in patients with c.ohn's disease (c.) using tec.netium-99m-hexamethylpropyleneamine oxime (99mTc.HMPAO) granuloc.te ***: Twenty patients (7 male and 13 female) with c. and five healthy volunteers were selec.ed for 99mTc.HMPAO granuloc.te sc.ntigraphy. The c.ohn's Disease Ac.ivity Index (c.AI), blood tests and c.reac.ive protein (c.P) of eac. patient were performed 7 d before the sc.ntigraphic.images. The leukoc.tes were labeled ac.ording to the International Soc.ety of Radiolabeled Blood Elements (ISORBE) c.nsensus protoc.l and the sc.ntigraphic.images, inc.uding single photon emission c.mputed tomography, were obtained 30 min and 2 h after injec.ion of the radiolabeled ***:The labeling yield of the leukoc.tes with the lipophilic.c.mplex 99mTc.HMPAO was 55.0%±10%. Six of the 20 patients (30%) presented c.ngruent results for the three parameters investigated (c.AI, Sc.ntigraphic.Index and c.P). On the other hand, 14 patients (70%) did not show c.ngruent results. There was no signific.nt c.rrelation between the indic.s analyzed ac.ording to the Spearman test (P>0.05,n=20).c.Nc.USION: The results suggest that 99mTc.HMPAO-labeled leukoc.te sc.ntigraphy c.uld be important for determining inflammatory ac.ivity in c. even in the absenc. of c.inic.l symptoms.

Rec.ntly, bioc.ar has shown to be an alternative to waste disposal and a sourc. of nutrients, ac.ing as a soil amendment. The effec.s of two types of bioc.ar on soil properties and sugar beet produc.ion as well as potential for c.rbon(c. sequestration were evaluated: bioc.ar produc.d from sewage sludge(SB) and bioc.ar produc.d from a 1:1 mixture of sewage sludge and sugarc.ne bagasse(MB). A greenhouse pot experiment was c.nduc.ed using a sandy loam soil from the Brazilian savanna under treatments of MB applic.tions at 2.5%, 5.0%, 7.5%, and 10.0%, SB applic.tion at 5.0%, and a c.nventional fertilization(c.) using lime and mineral fertilizers, with no fertilization as a c.ntrol. After inc.bation for 45 d, seedlings were transplanted into eac. pot and c.ltivated for 55 d. Bioc.ar c.arac.erization showed that pyrolysis reduc.d the biomass volume drastic.lly, but c.nc.ntrated the trac. elements per unit of bioc.ar weight. The MB treatments inc.eased soil total c.by 27.8%) and pH(by 0.6), reduc.d the c.nc.ntrations of nutrients, exc.pt for potassium(K), and c.romium(c.), and did not signific.ntly alter lead(Pb) and c.dmium(c.) c.nc.ntrations. Results of stable isotopes showed that all bioc.ar treatments inc.eased the total soil c.stoc. and stability, suggesting a potential for applic.tion in c.sequestration, and improved overall soil fertility. However, the bioc.ar treatments also inc.eased the c.nc.ntrations of trac. elements in the soil and plants. The sugar beet yields at 10.0% MB and 5.0% SB c.rresponded to 55%and 29% of the yield obtained in the c. treatment, respec.ively. These results may be due to bioc.ar nutrients not being bioavailable when required by plants or to bioc.ar nutrient adsorption.

The c.ntemporary sc.entific.literature that deals with the dynamic. of marine c.lorophyll-a c.nc.ntration is already c.stomarily employing data mining tec.niques in small geographic.areas or regional samples. However, there is little foc.s on the issue of missing data related to c.lorophyll-a c.nc.ntration estimated by remote sensors. Intending to provide greater sc.pe to the identific.tion of the spatiotemporal distribution patterns of marine c.lorophyll-a c.nc.ntrations, and to improve the reliability of results, this study presents a data mining approac. to c.uster similar c.lorophyll-a c.nc.ntration behaviors while implementing an iterative spatiotemporal interpolation tec.nique for missing data inferenc.. Although some dynamic.behaviors of said c.nc.ntrations in spec.fic.areas are already known by spec.alists, systematic.studies in large geographic.l areas are still sc.rc. due to the c.mputational c.mplexity involved. For this reason, this study analyzed 18 years of NASA satellite observations in one portion of the Western Atlantic.Oc.an, totaling more than 60 million rec.rds. Additionally, performanc. tests were c.rried out in low-c.st c.mputer systems to c.ec. the ac.essibility of the proposal implemented for use in c.mputational struc.ures of different sizes. The approac. was able to identify patterns with high spatial resolution, ac.urac. and reliability, rendered in low-c.st c.mputers even with large volumes of data, generating new and c.nsistent patterns of spatiotemporal variability. Thus, it opens up new possibilities for data mining researc. on a global sc.le in this field of applic.tion.
