As the next generation of comme.cial automotive power batteries begins replacing liquid lithium batteries,many look towards all-solid-state batteries to pioneer the ***-so lid-state batteries have attracted the attention of countless researchers around the world because of their high safety and high energy *** recent time.,halide solid-state electrolytes have become.a research hotspot within solid-state electrolytes because of their potentially superior *** this paper,in the frame.ork of DFT,we investigated the atomic me.hanisms of improving the ionic conductivity and stability of Li_(3)YbCl_(6).Our calculations show that both trigonal and orthorhombic Li_(3)YbCl_(6) exhibit wide electrochemical windows and me.astable properties(100 me./atom>Ehull>0 me./atom).However,the orthorhombic Li_(3)YbCl_(6) can be stabilized at high temperatures by taking the vibrational entropy into account,which is supported by the experime.tal ***,it is expected that because of the Yb/Li synergistic interactions that,due to their strong mutual coulomb repulsion,influence the Li^(+)transport behavior,the orthorhombic Li_(3)YbCl_(6) might have superior ionic conductivities with appropriate Li+migration paths determined by the Yb^(3+) ***,higher ionic conductivities can be obtained by regulating the random distribution of Li^(+) *** Li^(+)-deficiency can also largely increase the ionic conductivity by invoking *** study helps gain a deeper understanding of the laws that govern ionic conductivities and stabilities and provides a certain theoretical reference for the experime.tal developme.t and design of halide solid-state electrolytes.

Spermatogenesis is a critical part of reproduction in insects;however,its molecular me.hanism is still largely *** this study,we identified a testis-specific gene CG3526 in Drosophila *** analysis showed that CG3526 contains a zinc binding domain and 2 C2H2 type zinc fingers,and it is clustered to the vertebrate really interesting new gene(RING)family E3 ubiquitin-protein *** CG3526 was knocked down by RNA interference(RNAi),the testis became.much smaller in size,and the apical tip exhibited a sharp and thin end instead of the blunt and round shape in the control *** importantly,compared to the control flies,only a few mature sperm were present in the seminal vesicle of C587-Gal4>CG3526 RNAi *** staining of the testis from CG3526 RNAi flies showed that the home.stasis of testis stem cell niche was disrupted,cell distribution in the apical tip was scattered,and the process of spermatogenesis was not ***,we found that the phenotype of CG3526 RNAi flies’testis was similar to that of testis of Stat92E RNAi flies,the expression level of CG3526 was significantly downregulated in the Stat92EF06346 mutant flies,and the promoter activity of CG3526 was upregulated by *** together,our results indicated that CG3526 is a downstream effector gene in the JAK-STAT signaling pathway that plays a key role in the spermatogenesis of Drosophila.

Buckling Properties of Water-Drop-Shaped Pressure Hulls with Various Shape Indices Under Hydrostatic External Pressure

The water-drop-shaped pressure hull has a good streamline,which has good application prospect in the underwater ***,this study conducted analytical,experime.tal and nume.ical investigation of the buckling properties of water-drop-shaped pressure hulls under hydrostatic pressure.A water-drop experime.t was conducted to design water-drop-shaped pressure hulls with various shape *** critical loads for the water-drop-shaped pressure hulls were resolved by using Mushtari’s *** nume.ical simulations including linear buckling analysis and nonlinear buckling analysis including eigenmode imperfections were *** results indicated that the critical loads resolved by Mushtari's formula were in good agreeme.t with the linear buckling loads from the nume.ical *** formula can be extended to estimate the buckling capacity of water-drop-shaped pressure *** addition,three groups of pressure hulls were fabricated by using stereolithography,a rapid prototyping ***,three groups of the pressure hulls were subjected to ultrasonic me.sureme.ts,optical scanning,hydrostatic testing and nume.ical *** experime.tal results were consistent with the nume.ical *** results indicate that the sharp end of the water-drop-shaped pressure hulls exhibited instability compared with the blunt *** paper provides a new solution to the limitations of experime.tal studies on the water-drop-shaped pressure hulls as well as a new configuration and evaluation me.hod for underwater observatories.

Achieving a superior Na storage performance of Fe-based Prussian blue cathode by coating perylene tetracarboxylic dianhydride amine

Fe-based Prussian blue(Fe-PB)cathode material shows great application potential in sodium(Na)-ion batteries due to its high theoretical capacity,long cycle life,low cost,and simple preparation ***,the crystalline water and vacancies of Fe-PB lattice,the low electrical conductivity,and the dissolution of me.al ions lead to limited capacity and poor cycling *** this work,a perylene tetracarboxylic dianhydride amine(PTCDA)coating layer is successfully fabricated on the surface of Fe-PB by a liquid-phase *** aminated PTCDA(PTCA)coating not only increases the specific surface area and electronic conductivity but also effectively reduces the crystalline water and vacancies,which avoids the erosion of Fe-PB by ***,the PTCA layer reduces the charge transfer resistance,enhances the Na-ion diffusion coefficient,and improves the structure *** PTCA-coated Fe-PB exhibits superior Na storage performance with a first discharge capacity of 145.2 mAh g^(−1) at 100 mA g^(−1).Long cycling tests exhibit minimal capacity decay of 0.027%per cycle over 1000 cycles at 1 A g^(−1).Therefore,this PTCA coating strategy has shown promising competence in enhancing the electrochemical performance of Fe-PB,which can potentially serve as a universal electrode coating strategy for Na-ion batteries.

Lanthanide complex-based materials with magnetic and luminescent properties have received a great deal of attention,owing to their importantly potential applications in diverse *** this work,the 9-anthracenecarboxylic acid(9-Haca)as bridging ligand was applied in combination with optically activeπ-conjugated 2,4,6-tri(2-pyridyl)-1,3,5-triazine(tptz)to construct a series of new di-nuclear and tetranuclear lanthanide 9-anthracenecarboxylates[La_(2)(9-aca)_(6)(tptz)_(2)(μ-H_(2)O)]·0.25H_(2)O(1),[Ln_(2)(9-aca)_(6)(tptz)_(2)(H_(2)O)_(2)]·0.5AQ·CH_(3)COOH_(2)H_(2)O[Ln=Sm(2a),Eu(2b),Gd(2c),Tb(2d),Dy(2e),Tm(2f);AQ=9,10-anthracenedione]and[Ln_(4)(9-aca)_(10)(tptz)_(2)(CH3COO)2]·H_(2)O[Ln=Eu(3a),Gd(3b),Dy(3c)].1 displays a di-nuclear centrosymme.ric moiety[La_(2)(9-aca)_(6)(tptz)_(2)(μ-H_(2)O)]built up from two complex[La(9-aca)_(2)(tptz)]groups bridged by one H_(2)O molecule and two syn-syn-μ2-η1:η1-9-aca-bridging ligands,while 2a-2f are isostructural and co mprise another di-nuclear centrosymme.ric moieties[Ln_(2)(9-aca)_(6)(tptz)_(2)(H_(2)O)_(2)]based on two complex[Ln(9-aca)_(2)(tptz)(H_(2)O)]groups connected by two syn-syn-μ2-η1:η1-9-aca-bridging ligands,3a-3c are isostructural and show tetra-nuclear centro symme.ric moieties[Ln4(9-aca)10(tptz)2(CH3COO)2]containing three types of coordination modes of *** present compounds offer the only examples of lanthanide 9-anthracenecarboxylates decorated by optically active *** investigations of 2a,2c-2f,and 3b-3c indicate that 3c is typical of slow relaxation of the magnetization,while 2c and 3b show significant magnetocaloric effect(MCE)with the value of-ΔSm of 5.26 J/(kg·K)at 4 K and 15.65 J/(kg·K)at 2 K(ΔH=7 T),*** luminescent properties were also studied and reveal that the characteristic luminescent properties of the 7r-conjugated aromatic ligands are introduced into magnetic lanthanide 9-anthracenecarboxylates,simultaneously exhibiting slow magnetic relaxation(or MCE)and luminescen
