Silk is widely used in the production of high-quality *** the same time,the amount of silk textiles no longer in use and discarded is increasing,resulting in significant waste and *** issue is of great concern in many countries where silk is *** peroxide as a naturally occurring compound is an important indicator of detection in both biology and the *** study aims to develop a composite fiber with hydrogen peroxide-sensing properties using discarded silk *** achieve this goal,firstly,polydopamine(PDA)was used to encapsulate the ZnFe_(2)O_(4) NPs to achieve the improvement of dispersion,and then regenerated silk fibroin(RSF)and PDA@ZnFe_(2)O_(4)/RSF hybrid fibers are prepared by wet *** has shown that PDA@ZnFe_(2)O_(4)/RSF demonstrates exceptional sensitivity,selectivity,and stability in detecting hydrogen peroxide,while maintaining high mechanical ***,the complete hybridization of PDA@ZnFe_(2)O_(4) with silk fibroin not only results in the combination of the durability of silk fibroin and PDA@ZnFe_(2)O_(4)’s rigidity,ensuring a reliable service life,but also makes PDA@ZnFe_(2)O_(4)/RSF exhibit excellent catalytic activity and ***,the composite fiber exhibits exceptional mechanical properties and reliable hydrogen peroxide sensing capabilities,making it a promising material for biological and medical applications.

Multiple myeloma(MM)is the second most prevalent hematological *** MM treatment strategies are hampered by systemic toxicity and suboptimal therapeutic *** study addressed these limitations through the development of a potent MM-targeting chemotherapy strategy,which capitalized on the high binding affinity of alendronate for hydroxyapatite in the bone matrix and the homologous targeting of myeloma cell membranes,termed T-PB@*** results from our investigations highlight the considerable bone affinity of T-PB@M,both in vitro and in ***,this material demonstrated a capability for drug release triggered by low pH ***,T-PB@M induced the generation of reactive oxygen species and triggered cell apoptosis through the poly(ADP-ribose)polymerase 1(PARP1)-Caspase-3-B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2)pathway in MM ***,T-PB@M preferentially targeted bone-involved sites,thereby circumventing systemic toxic side effects and leading to prolonged survival of MM orthotopic ***,this designed target-MM nanocarrier presents a promising and potentially effective platform for the precise treatment of MM.

Determining asteroid properties provides valuable physical insights but inverting them from photometric lightcurves remains computationally *** paper presents a new approach that combines a simplified Cellinoid shape model with the Parallel Differential Evolution(PDE)algorithm to accelerate *** PDE algorithm is more efficient than the Differential Evolution algorithm,achieving an extraordinary speedup of 37.983 with 64 workers on multicore *** PDE algorithm accurately derives period and pole values from simulated *** analysis of real asteroid lightcurves validates the method’s reliability:in comparison with results published elsewhere,the PDE algorithm accurately recovers the rotational periods and,given adequate viewing geometries,closely matches the pole *** PDE approach converges to solutions within 20,000 iterations and under one hour,demonstrating its potential for large-scale data *** work provides a promising new tool for unveiling asteroid physical properties by overcoming key computational bottlenecks.

Pine Island Glacier(PIG),the largest glacier in the Amundsen Sea Embayment of West Antarctica,has contributed to over a quarter of the observed sea level rise around *** recent years,multiple observations have confirmed its continuous retreat,ice flow acceleration and profound surface *** these changes is crucial for accurately monitoring ice mass discharge and future Antarctic contributions to sea level ***,it is essential to investigate the complex interactions between these variables to comprehend how they collectively affect the overall stability of the intricate PIG *** this study,we utilized high-resolution remote sensing data and deep learning method to detect and analyze the spatio-temporal variations of surface melt,ice shelf calving,and ice flow velocity of the PIG from 2015 to *** explored the correlations among these factors to understand their long-term impacts on the glacier's *** findings reveal a retreat of 26.3 km and a mass loss of 1001.6 km²during ***,extensive surface melting was observed,particularly in the 2016/2017 and 2019/2020 melting *** data vividly illustrate prolonged and intense melting periods,correlating with a significant retreat in the glacier's terminus position in 2019/***,the comprehensive analysis of surface melting and the cumulative retreat of the ice shelf from 2017 to 2020 on the PIG shows atemporal relationship with subsequent significant changes in ice fow velocity,ranging from 10.9 to 12.2 m d^(-1),with an average acceleration rate of 12%.These empirical findings elucidate the intricate relationship among surface melt,ice flow velocity,and consequential glacier dynamics.A profound understanding of these interrelationships holds paramount importance in glacier dynamic changes and modeling,providing invaluable insights into potential glacier responses to global climate change.

Cu-rich cell boundary phase is difficult to precipitate evenly,resulting in a generally poor demagnetization curve squareness for Fe-rich Sm_(2)Co_(17)-type magnet,which is a key factor limiting the further improvement of magnetic energy *** this study,we report that nanoscale strip-like ordered micro-domains distributed in1:7H disordered matrix phase of the solid solution precursor is a new factor significantly affecting the precipitation and distribution of the cell boundary *** strip-like and continuous micro-twin structure with twin boundaries neatly perpendicular to the C-axis is observed after sintering *** solution treatment,sequential and long strip-like micro-twins gradually transform into disordered state along the basal plane,forming narrow disordered 1:7H(TbCu_(7)-type structure)phase between the separated strip-like ordered *** disordering transformation takes place via broken down of the long strip-like ordered micro-domains,which is accomplished by narrowing along the width direction followed by reduction of the ***,a new model revealing the effect of the ordered micro-domains on the formation of the cell boundary phase is *** boundaries enriched in Cu have already existed in the precursor with long strip-like ordered ***,the Cu-rich cell boundary phase acting as strong pinning centers cannot be precipitated homogeneously and distributed continuously after aging,resulting in a poor demagnetization curve squareness of Sm_(2)Co_(17)-type *** results indicate that significant broken down of the nanoscale ordered micro-domains in solution precursor is the key factor improving the distribution of cell boundary phase in Sm_(2)Co_(17)-type magnets.

Liver transplantation(LT)is the standard therapy for individuals afflicted with end-stage liver *** notable advancements in LT technology,the incidence of early allograft dysfunction(EAD)remains a critical concern,exacerbating the current organ shortage and detrimentally affecting the prognosis of ***,the perplexing hepatic heterogeneity has impeded characterization of the cellular traits and molecular events that contribute to ***,we constructed a pioneering single-cell transcriptomic landscape of human transplanted livers derived from non-EAD and EAD patients,with 12 liver samples collected from 7 donors during the cold perfusion and portal reperfusion *** of the 75231 cells of non-EAD and EAD patients revealed an EAD-associated immune niche comprising mucosal-associated invariant T cells,granzyme B^(+)(GZMB^(+))granzyme K^(+)(GZMK^(+))natural killer cells,and S100 calcium binding protein A12^(+)(S100A12^(+))***,we verified this immune niche and its association with EAD occurrence in two independent *** findings elucidate the cellular characteristics of transplanted livers and the EAD-associated pathogenic immune niche at the single-cell level,thus,offering valuable insights into EAD onset.

Deterministic wave prediction model for irregular long-crested waves with Recurrent Neural Network

Real-time predicting of stochastic waves is crucial in marine *** this paper,a deep learning wave prediction(Deep-WP)model based on the‘probabilistic’strategy is designed for the short-term prediction of stochastic *** Deep-WP model employs the long short-term memory(LSTM)unit to collect pertinent information from the wave elevation time *** irregular long-crested waves generated in the deepwater offshore basin at Shanghai Jiao Tong University are used to validate and optimize the Deep-WP *** the prediction duration is 1.92s,2.56s,and,3.84s,respectively,the predicted results are almost identical with the ground *** the prediction duration is increased to 7.68s or 15.36s,the Deep-WP model’s error increases,but it still maintains a high level of accuracy during the first few *** introduction of covariates will improve the Deep-WP model’s performance,with the absolute position and timestamp being particularly advantageous for wave ***,the Deep-WP model is applicable to predict waves with different energy *** proposed Deep-WP model shows a feasible ability to predict nonlinear stochastic waves in real-time.

Nanozymes are next-generation of nanomaterials with enzyme-like *** particular,nanozymes with peroxidase(POD)-like activity have been utilized in various fields,including antibacterial,detection,degradation,***,their extensive applications were limited by their low catalytic activity ***,we have presented a composite nanozyme based on attapulgite(ATP)(Fe-ATP-MoS_(2)(FAM)),which exhibited enhanced POD-like activity(185.33 U·mg^(−1)),4.25 times higher than that of Fe-MoS_(2)(FM)(43.63 U·mg^(−1)).The density functional theory(DFT)calculations indicated that the addition of ATP increased the electron density of metal centers(Mo and Fe).More importantly,Michaelis–Menten kinetics revealed that the introduction of ATP significantly enhanced the binding affinities of substrates through the pores of ATP,forming a highly concentrated substrate microenvironment and thus promoting its POD-like ***,from molecular size and kinetic analysis,we proposed that the changes in substrate size before and after oxidation also significantly affected its Michaelis-constant(Km)***,we utilized FAM in the applications of highly effective antibacterial application and sensitive detection of glutathione(GSH).In conclusion,this work provides a novel approach for designing a highly efficient nanozyme based on natural mineral composites.
