Nowadays,sustainability and circular economy are two principles to be pursued in all *** road pavement engineering,they can be put into practice through the partial substitution of bitumen with industrial residues and by-products deriving from renewable *** this framework,this paper presents an extensive investigation of the chemical,morphological and rheological properties of bio-binders obtained by mixing a conventional 50/70 bitumen with different percentages by weight(0,5%,10%and 15%)of a renewable bio-oil,generated as a residue in the processing of wood into pulp and *** show that overall the bio-oil provides a softening effect,which,in terms of performance,leads to an improvement of the low-temperature behaviour and fatigue resistance with respect to the control bitumen,in spite of an increased tendency to permanent *** no chemical reaction appears to occur after blending,the peculiarities of the bio-oil affect the chemistry of the resulting bio-binders,whereas no phase separation is observed from the microscopic *** addition,a Newtonian behaviour,an unchanged temperature susceptibility and a good fitting of 1 S2 P1 D model to the rheological data are found,regardless of the bio-oil percentage *** promising outcomes suggest that such bio-binders can be favourably employed for several applications in road pavements.

Vascular endothelial growth factors（VEGFs） respectively bind to each of three receptor tyrosine kinases（RTKs）,known as Flt-1,KDR and *** VEGFs and their respective families of receptor tyrosine kinases（VEGFRs） are critical proteins which can regulate vascular development during angiogenesis,we decided to explore the inhibitory effects of soluble kinase insert domain-containing receptor（sKDR） on endothelial cells and *** RNA was extracted from human umbilical vein endothelial cells（HUVEC）,and cDNA of extracellular domains 1―4 was amplified and recombined with pQE40 *** being expressed,affinity purified,renatured and analyzed by Western blot,the sKDR was assayed for its effects on endothelial cells by [3-（4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl）2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide]（MTT）,and on angiogenesis by chick chorioallantoic membrane（CAM） *** cDNA of 1150 bp was obtained via real-time polymerase chain reaction（RT-PCR）,and sKDR was expressed by pQE40 procaryotic expression system,purified by sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis（SDS-PAGE） analysis with only one band and proved by Western *** assay demonstrateds that sKDR could inhibit the VEGF-stimulated HUVEC from proliferation,and CAM experiment showed sKDR could block the VEGF-induced *** has the biological activity to bind with VEGF ligands and is a potential target for tumor anti-angiogenesis therapy.

Advances in chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)-T cell therapy have significantly improved clinical outcomes of patients with relapsed or refractory hematologic ***,progress is still hindered as clinical benefit is only available for a fraction of patients.A lack of understanding of CAR-T cell behaviors in vivo at the single-cell level impedes their more extensive application in clinical *** evidence suggests that single-cell sequencing techniques can help perfect the receptor design,guide gene-based T cell modification,and optimize the CAR-T manufacturing conditions,and all of them are essential for long-term immunosurveillance and more favorable clinical *** information generated by employing these methods also potentially informs our understanding of the numerous complex factors that dictate therapeutic efficacy and *** this review,we discuss the reasons why CAR-T immunotherapy fails in clinical practice and what this field has learned since the milestone of single-cell sequencing *** further outline recent advances in the application of single-cell analyses in CAR-T ***,we provide an overview of single-cell studies focusing on target antigens,CAR-transgene integration,and preclinical research and clinical applications,and then discuss how it will affect the future of CAR-T cell therapy.

In this paper, we demonstrate the residual phase noise of a few microwave frequency dividers which usually limit the performance of frequency synthesizers. In order to compare these dividers under different operation frequencies, we calculate additional time jitters of these dividers by using the measured phase noise. The time jitters are various from -0.1 fs to 43 fs in a bandwidth from 1 Hz to 100 Hz in dependent of models and operation frequencies. The HMC series frequency dividers exhibit outstanding performance for high operation frequencies, and the time jitters can be sub-fs. The time jitters of SP8401, MC10EP139, and MC100LVEL34 are comparable or even below that of HMC series for low operation frequencies.

Immobilized pellets obtained by means of entrapping activated sludge in waterborne polyurethane were successfully adapted in ammonium（NH4^＋–N）synthetic *** physicochemical characteristics were determined using scanning electron microscope,pyrosequencing,and microelectrodes,and its influence on the nitrification process in sequencing batch reactors（SBRs）at low temperatures was evaluated.A large number of rod-shaped bacteria were observed on the surface of the immobilized pellet,in which Rudaea spp.（Xanthomonadaceae family）was an important bacterial component（23.44% of the total bacteria）.The oxygen uptake rate of immobilized pellets reached 240.83±15.59 mg O2/（L·hr）,and the oxygen was primarily consumed by the bacteria on the pellet surfaces（0–600μm）.The dosing of the pellets（30 m L/L）into an SBR significantly improved the nitrification efficiency at low temperatures of 7–11℃,achieving an average NH4^＋–N removal of 84.09%,which is higher than the removal of 67.46% observed for the control group.

Measurement of out-of-plane deformation is significant to understanding of the deflection mechanisms of the plate and tube *** this study,a new surface contouring technique with color structured light is applied to measure the out-of-plane deformation of structures with one-shot *** color fringe recognizing,decoding and triangulation processing for the captured images corresponding to each deformation state,the feasibility of the method is testified by the measurement of elastic deflections of a flexible square plate,showing good agreement with those from the calibrated displacement *** plastic deformation of two alloy aluminum rectangular tubes is measured to show the technique application to surface topographic evaluation of the buckling structures with large displacements.

The microelasticity field was incorporated into the microscopic phase-field equation for the ternary alloy systems, the morphology evolution and coarsening behavior of the Ni75AixV25-x alloy were simulated. The γ phase precipitates initially for Ni75Al7aV17.9 and Ni75Al5.5V19.5 alloys and the two phases transform from the equiaxed or strip-like to the quadrate as the growth and coarsening processes. For the anisotropic elasticity interaction of the system, the orientation of γ is along the 〈001〉 directions and the θ phase is along the short axis direction of [10]. Analysis of the structure and the pair-correlation functions indicate that the average precipitate length scale of the particles increases at the late-stage coarsening, and the dynamical scaling behavior is obeyed.

A circular shaft is often used to access a working well for deep underground space *** the depth of underground space increases,the excavation depth of the shaft *** this study,the deformation characteristics of a circular shaft with a depth of 56.3 m were presented and *** main monitoring contents included:(1)wall deflection;(2)vertical wall movement;(3)horizontal soil movement;(4)vertical surface movement;and(5)basal ***,the maximum wall deflection was only 7.7 *** with the wall deflection data collected for another 29 circular excavations,the ratio of maximum wall deflection to excavation depth of this shaft was smaller due to a smaller ratio of diameter to excavation *** wall deflection underwent two stages of deformation:the first stage was mainly circumferential compression caused by the mutual extrusion of joints between walls,and the second stage was typical vertical deflection *** horizontal soil movement outside the shaft was greater than the wall deflection and the deep soil caused great horizontal movement because of dewatering at confined water ***,a basal heave of 203.8 mm occurred in the pit centre near the ***,the shaft was uplifted over time and showed 3 stages of vertical *** surface outside the shaft exhibited settlement and uplift deformation at different locations due to different *** basal heave caused by excavation was the dominant factor,driving the vertical movement of the shaft as well as the surrounding *** correlation between the wall deflection and the surface settlement outside the shaft was weak.

Lithium?ion batteries(LIBs), which are high?energy?density and low?safety?risk secondary batteries, are underpinned to the rise in electrochemical energy storage devices that satisfy the urgent demands of the global energy storage market. With the aim of achiev?ing high energy density and fast?charging performance, the exploitation of simple and low?cost approaches for the production of high capacity, high density, high mass loading, and kinetically ion?accessible electrodes that maximize charge storage and transport in LIBs, is a critical need. Toward the construction of high?performance electrodes, carbons are promisingly used in the enhanced roles of active materials, electrochemi?cal reaction frameworks for high?capacity noncarbons, and lightweight current collectors. Here, we review recent advances in the carbon engi?neering of electrodes for excellent electrochemical performance and structural stability, which is enabled by assembled carbon architectures that guarantee su cient charge delivery and volume fluctuation bu ering inside the electrode during cycling. Some specific feasible assem?bly methods, synergism between structural design components of carbon assemblies, and electrochemical performance enhancement are highlighted. The precise design of carbon cages by the assembly of graphene units is potentially useful for the controlled preparation of high?capacity carbon?caged noncarbon anodes with volumetric capacities over 2100 mAh cm^(-3). Finally, insights are given on the prospects and challenges for designing carbon architectures for practical LIBs that simultaneously provide high energy densities(both gravimetric and volumetric) and high rate performance.

Thermodynamic analysis of refractory siderite ore during carbothermic reduction was conducted. Micro- structure characteristics and phase transformation of siderite ore during sodium-carbonate-added catalyzing carboth- ermic reduction were investigated. X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron microscopy and energy-dispersive analysis of X rays were used to characterize the reduced samples. Results indicate that the solid reaction between FeO and SiO2 is inevitable during carbothermic reduction and the formation of fayalite is the main hindrance to the rapid reduction of siderite. The phase transformation of present siderite ore can be described as： siderite-magnetite-metallic iron, complying with the formation of abundant fayalite. Improving the reduction temperature （-1050 -C ） and duration is helpful for the formation and aggregation of metallic iron. The iron particle size in the reduced ore was below 20 l-m, and fayalite was abundant in the absence of sodium carbonate. With 5% Na2CO3 addition, the iron particle size in the reduced ore was generally above 50μm, and the diffraction intensity associated with metallic iron in the XRD pattern increased. The Na2O formed from the dissociation of Na2 CO3 can catalyze the carbothermie reduction of the siderite. This catalytic activity may be mainly caused by an increase in the reducing reaction activity of FeO.
