Supermolecular gel is a three-dimensional network structure assembled by small molecules or polymers in solvents through noncovalent *** emergence of system complexity occurs spontaneously during the molecular self-assembly process.A multitude of chiral molecular self-assembly systems have been engineered,facilitating the achievement of circularly polarized luminescence(CPL)through the amalgamation of chiral entities with *** bonding,π-πstacking,and noncovalent forces,such as host-guest interactions and Van der Waals'forces,confer upon supramolecular gels the capacity to react to diverse *** to the flexibility of supramolecular assembly,the CPL properties of supramolecular gels have rich controllability and can be used in various *** this review,we summarized the examples of CPL-active supramolecular gel assembly,and further summarized the assembly environment factors and external ***,the versatility of CPL applications in supramolecular gels is demonstrated,ranging from optical devices,information encryption,biosensing and chemical sensing,and other practical *** conclusion,the study provides insights into the multicultural factors influencing CPL in supramolecular gels,describes their applications in various domains,and presents future perspectives in the field.

Accurate on-board occupant injury risk prediction of motor vehicle crashes(MVCs)can decrease fatality rates by providing critical information timely and improving injury severity triage *** present implemented prediction algorithms in vehicle safety systems are probabilistic and rely on multi-variate logistic regression of real-world vehicle collision *** a result,they do not utilize important vehicle and occupant features and tend to overgeneralize the solution *** study presents a framework to address these problems with deterministic and computationally efficient lumped parameter model simulations driven by a database of vehicle crash tests.A 648-case mixed database was generated with finite element and multi-body models and validated under the principal directions of impact with experimental results for a single vehicle body *** the finite element database,we developed lumped parameter models for four principal modes of impact(i.e.,frontal,rear,near side and far side)with parameters identified via genetic algorithm *** obtain confidence bounds for the injury risk prediction,the parameter uncertainty and model adequacy were evaluated with arbitrary and bootstrapped polynomial chaos *** developed algorithm was able to achieve over triage rates of 17.1%±8.5%,whilst keeping the under triage rates below 8%on a finite element-multi body model database of a single vehicle body *** study demonstrated the feasibility and importance of using low-complexity deterministic models with uncertainty quantification in enhanced occupant injury risk *** research is required to evaluate the effectiveness of this framework under a wide range of vehicle *** the flexibility of parameter adjustment and high computational efficiency,the present framework is generic in nature so as to maximize future applicability in improved on-board triage decision making in active safety systems.

Flexible solid-state battery has several unique characteristics including high flexibility,easy portability,and high safety,which may have broad application prospects in new technology products such as rollup displays,power implantable medical devices,and wearable *** interfacial mechanical and electrochemical problems caused by bending deformation,resulting in the battery damage and failure,are particularly ***,a fully coupled electro-chemo-mechanical model is developed based on the actual solid-state battery ***-dependent material parameters,stress-dependent diffusion,and potential shift are *** to four bending forms(k=8/mm,0/mm,-8/mm,and free),the results show that the negative curvature bending is beneficial to reducing the plastic strain during charging/discharging,while the positive curvature is ***,with respect to the electrochemical performance,the negative curvature bending creates a negative potential shift,which causes the battery to reach the cut-off voltage earlier and results in capacity *** results enlighten us that suitable electrode materials and charging strategy can be tailored to reduce plastic deformation and improve battery capacity for different forms of battery bending.

Bifunctional catalysts for hydrogen/oxygen evolution reactions(HER/OER)are urgently needed given the bright future of water splitting hydrogen production ***,the self-supporting N and Ce dual-doped NiCoP nanoarrays(denoted N,Ce-NiCoP/NF)grown on Ni foam are successfully *** the N,Ce-NiCoP/NF simultaneously acts as the HER and OER electrodes,the voltages of 1.54 and 2.14 V are obtained for driving 10 and 500 mA·cm^(-2)with a robust durability,and demonstrate its significant potential for practical water *** to both experiments and calculations,the electronic structure of NiCoP may be significantly altered by strategically incorporating N and Ce into the lattice,which in turn optimizes the Gibbs free energy of HER/OER intermediates and speeds up the water splitting ***,the sprout-shaped morphology significantly increases the exposure of active sites and facilitates charge/mass transfer,thereby augmenting catalyst *** study offers a potentially effective approach involving the regulation of anion and cation double doping,as well as architectural engineering,for the purpose of designing and optimizing innovative electrocatalysts.

To determine the potential impacts of exogenous nitrogen(N)enrichment on distribution and transfer of N in Suaeda salsa marsh in the Yellow River Estuary,the variations of N in plant-soil system during the growing season were investigated by field N addition *** experiment included four treatments:NN(no N input treatment,0gNm^(−2) yr^(−1)),LN(low N input treatment,3.0 gNm^(−2) yr^(−1)),MN(medium N input treatment,6 gNm^(−2) yr^(−1))and HN(high N input treatment,12 gNm^(−2) yr^(−1)).Results showed that N additions generally increased the contents of total nitrogen(TN),ammonia nitrogen(NH_(4)^(+)-N)and nitrate nitrogen(NO_(3)^(−)-N)in different soil layers and the increasing trend was particularly evident in *** with the NN treatment,the average contents of TN in topsoil in the LN,MN and HN treatments during the growing season increased by 10.85%,30.14%and 43.98%,the mean contents of NH_(4)^(+)-N increased by 8.56%,6.96%and 14.34%,and the average contents of NO_(3)^(−)-N increased by 35.73%,45.99%and 46.66%,*** exogenous N import did not alter the temporal variation patterns of TN contents in organs,the N transfer and accumulation differed among tissues in different *** increasing N import,both the N stocks in soil and plant showed increasing trend and the values in N addition treatments increased by 9.43%–38.22%and 13.40%–62.20%,*** was worth noting that,compared with other treatments,the *** in the MN treatments was very likely to have special response to N enrichment since not only the period of peak growth was prolonged by about 20 days but also the maximum of TN content in leaves was advanced by approximately one *** paper found that,as N loading reached MN level in future,the growth rhythm of *** and the accumulation and transference of N in its tissues would be altered significantly,which might generate great impact on the stability and health of *** marsh ecosystem.

Cubature Kalman Filter(CKF)offers a promising solution to handle the data fusion of integrated nonlinear INS/GNSS(Inertial Navigation System/Global Navigation Satellite System)***,its accuracy is degraded by inaccurate kinematic noise statistics which originate from disturbances of system *** paper develops a method of closed-loop feedback covariance control to address the above problem of *** this method,the posterior state and its covariance are fed back to the filtering process to constitute a closed-loop structure for CKF covariance ***,based on the maximum likelihood principle,a control scheme of the prior state covariance is established by using the feedback state and covariance within an estimation window and further adopting a proportional coefficient to amplify the feedback terms in recent time steps for the full use of new information to reflect actual system *** it does not directly use kinematic noise covariance,the proposed method can effectively avoid the adverse impact of inaccurate kinematic noise statistics on filtering ***,it can also guarantee the prior state covariance to be positive semi-definite without involving extra *** efficacy of the proposed method is validated by simulations and experiments for integrated INS/GNSS navigation.

Characteristics of a pre-combustion plasma jet igniter

Plasma ignition technology has delivered good performance in the aerospace industry. In this study, a pre-combustion plasma jet igniter was designed, and its characteristics were examined from three aspects: the morphology, temperature, and discharge characteristics and process of ignition. Images of the OH distribution were obtained by using an OH Planar Laser-Induced Fluorescence(OH-PLIF) experimental system. Results have shown that the proposed plasma jet had a higher OH concentration, longer length, and larger area than those of a traditional igniter. The stability of discharge of the igniter was improved as the equivalence ratio φ was increased, and reducing gas flow reduced the pulsation of the plasma jet. When the input current was increased from 15A to 35 A, the highest average temperature increased from 5127 K to 7987 K. An increase in the equivalence ratio reduced the region of arc ionization, but expanded the regions of the core combustion reaction and the outer flame. Herein, this study has obtained a deep understanding of the jet and ignition law and developed a new idea for the application of plasma in the ignition field.A pre-combustion plasma jet igniter can significantly improve the efficiency of ignition and shorten the ignition process compared with a traditional igniter.
