Deuteron inelastic scattering on ^(6)Li and ^(7)Li nuclei within the three-body cluster model

The problem of the deuteron interaction with lithium nuclei,treated as a system of two coupled pointlike clusters,is formulated to calculate the cross sections of the d+Li *** d+Li reaction mechanism is described using the Faddeev theory for the three-body problem of deuteron-nucleus *** theory is slightly extended for calculation of the stripping processes ^6Li(d,p)^7Li,^7Li(d,p)^8 ,^6Li(d,n)^7 Be,and ^7Li(d,n)^8 Be,as well as fragmentation reactions yielding tritium,a-particles,and continuous neutrons and protons in the initial deuteron kineticenergy region Ed=0.5-20 *** phase shifts found for d+^6Li and d+^7Li elastic scattering,as part of the simple optic model with a complex central potential,were used to find the cross sections for the 6^Li(d,ym)^8 and ^7Li(d,yE1)^9 Be radiation *** three-body dynamics role is also summarized to demonstrate its significant influence within the d+^7Li system.

india,under its breeding blanket R&D program for DEmO,is focusing on the development of two tritium breeding blanket concepts;namely the lead-lithi.m.c.oled ceramic breeder and the heli.m.c.oled ceramic breeder(HccB).The study presented in this paper focuses on the neutronic design analysis and optimization from the tritium breeding perspective of the HccB *** indian concept has an edge-on configuration and is one of the variants of the heli.m.c.oled solid breeder blanket concepts proposed by several partner countries in *** indian HccB blanket having lithium titanate(Li2TiO3)as the tritium breeder and beryllium(Be)as the neutron multiplier with reduced-activation ferritic/martensitic steel structure aims at utilizing the low-energy neutrons at the rear part of the *** aim of the optimization study is to minimize the radial blanket thickness while ensuring tritium self-sufficiency and provide data for further neutronic design and thermal-hydraulic layout of the HccB *** is found that inboard and outboard blanket thicknesses of 40 cm and 60 cm,respectively,can give a tritium breeding ratio(TBR)>1.3,with 60%6Li enrichment,which is assumed to be sufficient to cover potential tritium losses and associated *** results also demonstrated that the Be packing fraction(PF)has a more profound impact on the TBR as compared to 6Li enrichment and the PF of Li2TiO3.

Elastic scattering differential cross sections for a p- ~4He system are calculated within the framework of optical limit approximation of the Glauber multiple scattering model. Three different ranges for proton energy(E_(lab)), 19〈E_(lab)〈50 me V, 100≤E_(lab)≤1730 me V, and 45 ≤E_(lab)≤393 Ge V are considered. it is shown that the Pauli blocking fails to describe the data up to the proton energy, E_(lab)〈100 me V. For higher proton energies, a qualitative agreement is obtained. The observed elastic scattering differential cross section is nicely reproduced in the whole range of scattering angles in the center of mass system up to Θ_(c.m.)〈200° for 19〈E_(lab) ≤100 me V when the effect of both the nucleon–nucleon(NN) phase variation parameter γNN and higher-order momentum transfer components(λ_n; n = 1 and 2) of(NN) elastic scattering amplitude is included. in the range of 200 E_(lab) 1730 me V, introducing λ_n plays a significant role in describing the data up to the momentum transfer, q^2≤1:2(Ge V/c)~***, it is found that considering only the effect of phase variation parameter, cNN, improved the agreement in the region of minima for elastic scattering differential cross section for 45≤E_(lab)≤393 Ge V. The values of cNNand kn as a function of incident proton energies are presented.

magnetic susceptibility of a series of dinuclear Ⅴ(Ⅳ) . co(Ⅱ) and mn(Ⅲ) complexes has been measured in the temperature range of 1. 5 ～300K. The isotropic Heisenberg theory has been applied to study the temperature-dependent behaviour of the magnetic susceptibility of these complexes and a corresponding program for fitting the experimental results has been set up on a VAX 11/785 computer. conclusions can be drawn that the three complexes studied are all anti-ferromagnetically coupled with coupling constants -4. 4 , -115. 2 , and - 8. 4 cm￣(-1) for Ⅴ(Ⅳ) . co(Ⅱ) ,and mn(Ⅲ) complexes, respectively.

Dear Editor,Since the late 1980s, trauma in china has been identified as a major public health challenge, with trafic-related fatalities accounting for 80% of accidental deaths[1]. in 2019, Shenzhen had a total population of approximately 20 million, and from 2010 to 2017, both emergency medical services and the total number of trauma patients increased, with trauma accounting for 47.0% and 38.4% of all patients in 2010 and 2017, respectively[2,3]. This report describes the efforts to implement programs and establish a trauma system in Shenzhen, china.

Thermal spray, such as direct current （d.c.） plasma spray or radio frequency induced plasma spray, was used to deposit tungsten coatings on the copper electrodes of a tokamak device. The tungsten coating on the outer surface of one copper electrode was formed directly through d.c. plasma spraying of fine tungsten powder. The tungsten coating/lining on the inner surface of another copper electrode could be formed indirectly through induced plasma spraying of coarse tungsten powder. Scanning electron microscopy （SEm） was used to examine the cross section and the interface of the tungsten coating. Energy Dispersive Analysis of X-ray （EDAX） was used to analyze the metallic elements attached to a separated interface. The influence of the particle size of the tungsten powder on the density, cracking behavior and adhesion of the coating is discussed. it is found that the coarse tungsten powder with the particle size of 45-75μm can be melted and the coating can be formed only by using induced plasma. The coating deposited from the coarse powder has much higher cohesive strength, adhesive strength and crack resistance than the coating made from the fine powder with a particle size of 5μm.

in this paper,propagation characteristics of electromagnetic electron cyclotron(EmEc)waves based on kappa-maxwellian distribution have been investigated to invoke the interplay of the electric field parallel to the Earth’s magnetic field and auroral trapped *** dispersion relation for EmEc waves in kappa-maxwellian distributed plasma has been derived using the contribution of the parallel electric field and trapped electron *** results show that the presence of the electric field has a stimulating effect on growth rate,which is more pronounced at low values of wave *** is also observed that as the threshold value of trapped electron speed is surpassed,it dominates the effect of the parallel electric field and EmEc instability is enhanced *** electric field acts as another source of free energy,and growth can be obtained even in the absence of trapped electron drift speed and for very small values of temperature *** the present study reveals the interplay of the parallel electric field and trapped electron speed on the excitation of EmEc waves in the auroral region.

Background: Two trials were performed to evaluate a partially defatted Hermetia illucens(Hi) larvae meal as potential feed ingredient in rainbow trout(Oncorhynchus mykiss Walbaum) diets. in the first trial, 360 trout(178.9 ± 9.8 g of mean initial body weight) were randomly divided into three experimental groups(4 tanks/treatment, 30 fish/tank). The fish were fed for 78 days with isonitrogenous, isolipidic and isoenergetic diets containing increasing levels of Hi, on as fed basis: 0%(Hi0, control diet), 25%(Hi25) and 50%(Hi50) of fish meal substitution, corresponding to dietary inclusion levels of 0, 20% and 40%. in the second trial, 36 trout(4 tanks/treatment, 3 fish/tank) were used to evaluate the in vivo apparent digestibility coefficients(ADc) of the same diets used in the first ***: Survival, growth performance, condition factor, somatic indexes, and dorsal fillet physical quality parameters were not affected by diet. The highest dietary inclusion of Hi larvae meal increased dry matter and ether extract contents of trout dorsal fillet. The use of Hi larvae meal induced a decrease of valuable polyunsaturated fatty acids(PUFA) even if differences were only reported at the highest level of Hi inclusion. The insect meal worsened the lipids health indexes of the same muscle. Dietary inclusion of insect meal did not alter the villus height of the fish. No differences were found among treatments in relation to ADc of ether extract and gross energy, while ADc of dry matter and crude protein were higher in Hi25 if compared to ***: The obtained results showed that a partially defatted Hi larvae meal can be used as feed ingredient in trout diets up to 40% of inclusion level without impacting survival, growth performance, condition factor, somatic indexes, dorsal fillet physical quality parameters, and intestinal morphology of the fish.
