Isolation and characterization of deodorizing bacteria for organic sulfide malodor

Strain Jll screened out from different odor origins can efficiently degrade methyl mercaptan and ethanethiol whereas has no ability to remove dimethyl sulfide. The results indicated that the strain Jll breaks only the C-SH bond. The optimum temperature and pH of Jll are 20—30℃ and 6.0—8.3 respectively. A systematic identification method—16S rDNA gene sequence comparison, for deodorizing bacteria was carried out. The 16S rDNA gene sequence analysis of strain Jll showed the highest level of 97% homology to Rape rhizosphere.

We find that in a chemically equilibrating baryon-rich quark-gluon matter, due to the slow cooling rate, high initial temperature, large gluon density as well as large fusion cross section of gg→c in the intermediate mass region, the gluon fusion gg→c provides a dominant contribution to dileptons with intermediate masses, resulting in the significant enhancement of intermediate mass dileptons.

According to the latest global cancer statistics,colorectal cancer(CRC)is the most common malignancy of the digestive system and the second most lethal among all cancer types(1).In China,CRC is the second most prevalent cancer,following only after lung cancer(2).The first version of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology(CSCO)guideline was launched in 2017 and has been updated annually based on the latest findings of clinical research,drug accessibility and expert consensus(3-8).Here,we present the main updates of the 2024 version compared to the 2023 version.

Salt-tolerant gene, CSRG1, which was isolated from a kind of salt-tolerant mangroves, Avicennia marina, constructed the transgenic plasmid, pGAM189/CSRG1. CSRG1, GUS, Kmr and Hyg^r could be transferred into tobacco genome by the ameliorated leaf discs method of agro-bacterium-mediate transformation. Thirteen stable resistant lines were obtained when fifty transgenic explants were selected through 50 mg/L hygromycin and 150 mg/L kanamycin. Assessments of PCR amplification, Southern blot analysis and GUS histochemical staining showed that CSRG1 has been integrated into the genome of the eleven transgenic lines (frequency of transformation was 22%). Northern bolt analysis revealed that CSRG1 had expressed in transgenic lines. The assessments of salt-tolerant ability and photosyn-thetic rates indicated that the survival rate of the transgenic lines is 80%—90% and the transgenic lines could increase by 30%—40% in plant height, even when they were cultivated in MS medium containing 2% NaCl and the total seawater (salinity 24). It is supposed that the special physiologic metabolic pathway formed by the products of CSRG1 can really endow the tobacco plants with the high salt-tolerant ability, not only to Na^+ stress, but also to the comprehensive stress of various ions.

A metal-organic coordination polymer [Cd（bpy）（BDC）]n·nbpy （bpy = 2,2-bipyri-dine, H2BDC = terephthalic acid） has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectrum, TG and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The complex crystallizes in monoclinic, space group C2/c with a = 15.723（5）, b = 21.695（5）, c = 7.576（5） A, β = 116.171（7）°, V = 2319.3（18）A^3, C28H20CdN4O4, Mr = 588.88, Dc = 1.686 g/cm^3, μ（MoKα） = 0.987 mm^-1, F（000） = 1184, Z = 4, the final R = 0.0464 and wR = 0.0831 for 1882 observed reflections （Ⅰ〉 2σ（Ⅰ））. It exhibits a three-dimensional network with channels constructed from one-dimensional coordination chains via C–H…O hydrogen bonds and significant aromatic π-π stacking interactions.

A thermodynamic integration dual-transform method was firstly applied to calculating the relative hydration free energies of 99m TcO-N 2S 2 complexes. The relationship between the brain uptakes(B.U.) of 99m TcO-N 2S 2 complexes with different substituted functional groups and their relative hydration free energies was investigated. The simulation results show that the experiment brain uptake(B.U.) data are strongly influenced by the relative hydration free energies of 99m TcO-N 2S 2 complexes, thus the simulations can provide the useful information for the medicine design of 99m Tc brain imaging agents.
