Retrieval algorithm for microwave surface emissivities based on multi-source, remote-sensing data: An assessment on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau plays a very important role in studying severe weather in China and around the globe because of its unique characteristics. Moreover, the surface emissivities of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau are also important for retrieving surface and atmospheric parameters. In the current study, a retrieval algorithm was developed to retrieve the surface emissivities of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The developed algorithm was derived from the radiative transfer model and was first validated using simulated data from a one-dimensional microwave simulator. The simulated results show good precision. Then, the surface emissivities of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau were retrieved using brightness temperatures from the advanced microwave-scanning radiometer and atmospheric profile data from the moderate resolution imaging spectroradiometer. Finally, the features of the time and space distribution of the retrieved results were analyzed. In terms of spatial characteristics, a spatial distribution con- sistency was found between the retrieved results and surface coverage types of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. In terms of time characteristics, the changes in emissivity, which were within 0.01 for every day, were not evident within a one-month time scale. In addition, surface emissivities are sensitive to rainfall. The reasonability of the retrieved results indicates that the algorithm is feasible. A time-series surface emissivity database on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau can be built using the developed algorithm, and then other surface or atmospheric parameters would have high retrieval precision to support related geological re- search on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

Influence of PEG 6000 on gallium oxide(Ga_2O_3) polymorphs and photocatalytic properties

Three different nanorod-like gallium oxides with mono/poly-crystalline nature(α, β, and α/β-Ga2O3) were prepared by regulating the amount of polyethylene glycol(PEG) 6000 in the range of 0.2–0.8 g proportionally via a hydrothermal method combined with further calcination. The bandgap of the products, given by UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectra(UV-Vis DRS), was in the order of α-Ga2O3 > α/β-Ga2O3 > β-Ga2O3. To further investigate the photocatalysis performance of the catalysts, the decomposition of rhodamine B(Rh B) by Ga2O3 under UV light illumination(λ < 387 nm) was presented and complete degradation could be achieved within 30 min, a result that showed the highest efficiency. The photocatalytic oxidation mechanism is further discussed and prominently related to the active species: hydroxyl radical(·OH) and superoxide radical(O·-2), which were confirmed by electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR).

中国科学院合肥物质科学研究院等离子体物理研究所先后建成中国第一个圆截面超导托卡马克核聚变实验装置,以及世界上第一个非圆截面全超导托卡马克核聚变实验装置(EAST)。为持续改进EAST的运行管理,从顶层设计、组织实施和评估评价等方面分析EAST管理实践的有关探索与创新,具体包括:建立所领导、物理与实验运行部至一级系统的三级管理体系,能够更好围绕成果产出进行统一规划和分级管理;基于“计划—实施—检查—行动(PDCA)”管理理论,形成覆盖EAST运行周期的全过程管理机制;通过国内外评估制定设施中长期、近期计划,设置物理与实验运行部,负责主导EAST装置运行计划与目标的制定。另外,根据设施构成、结合运行需求设置一级系统,起用青年骨干担任负责人,分解任务、明确责任;同时,加强设施运行评估,部署实施系列改进举措,如优化基础研究组织模式和管理方式、创新国际合作模式等。根据EAST运行管理经验,对中国重大科技基础设施的运行和管理提出优化科研组织模式、完善管理方法、建设大科学工程团队、加强开放与合作等对策建议。

Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome(SFTS)caused by the SFTS virus(SFTSV)is an emerging disease in East Asia with a fatality rate of up to 30%.However,the viral-host interaction of SFTSV remains largely *** heat-shock protein 90(Hsp90)family consists of highly conserved chaperones that fold and remodel proteins and has a broad impact on the infection of many ***,we showed that Hsp90 is an important host factor involved in SFTSV ***90 inhibitors significantly reduced SFTSV replication,viral protein expression,and the formation of inclusion bodies consisting of nonstructural proteins(NSs).Among viral proteins,NSs appeared to be the most reduced when Hsp90 inhibitors were used,and further analysis showed that their translation was ***-immunoprecipitation of NSs with four isomers of Hsp90 showed that Hsp90βspecifically interacted with *** of Hsp90βexpression also inhibited replication of *** results suggest that Hsp90βplays a critical role during SFTSV infection and could be a potential target for the development of drugs against SFTS.

随着我国落地机动车数量增加,路面交通压力也逐步增加,采用人工智能方法对车辆进行快速识别,从而获得车辆和路况等信息具有重要意义。针对SLIC算法在目标与环境颜色或亮度极度相似时效果不佳的问题,文章考虑车辆具有对称性和轮廓等特征,提出一种基于自适应的超像素分割车辆检测算法。在原有算法引入变量λ,用于衡量亮度与颜色之间的重要性,改善SLIC模型。论文选定了BIT-vehicle数据集在YOLOv5模型进行实验。此算法能有效提高YOLOv5模型在车辆识别的性能,实验结果表明对比未处理的模型精度提高1%,全类平均精度提高1.3%。

目的探讨以问题为基础的学习法(PBL)在基层医院妇科单孔腹腔镜教学中的应用价值.方法选取2021年3月—2023年9月间参加广州医科大学附属妇女儿童医疗中心适宜技术培训班学习,来自基层医院的妇产科医生共40名为研究对象.通过随机抽签分组,对照组和实验组各20名.对照组采用传统教学模式+模拟腔镜训练;实验组采用PBL教学模式+模拟腔镜训练.教学结束后,通过理论测试、临床技能考核以及教学效果问卷调查评估教学效果.结果实验组的理论测试成绩、临床技能考核成绩均高于对照组[(85.20±12.60)分vs.(77.00±10.40)分]、[(86.30±7.60)分vs.(76.12±4.32)分],差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),教学效果问卷调查显示超过80.0%的学生认为PBL教学法优于传统教学.结论PBL教学法在基层医院妇科单孔腹腔镜教学中应用效果良好.

Au atoms were vaporized by electron beam evaporation, and their subsequent growths on Si (111 ) and highly ordered pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) substrates were studied using atomic force microscopy. Results show that Au nanoparticles tend to nucleate and grow regularly along the step edges of HOPG, however, nanoparticles are distributed homogeneously over the whole Si substrate. The possibility of controlled growth of Au in ultrahigh vacuum with peculiar surface structures was preseuted.

Fluorescence imaging in the second infrared window(1000-1700 nm)has emerged as a promising approach to tumor ***,the currently available second near-infrared(NIR-II)imaging agents are based on the“always on”modality or single biomarker activation,which are subject to limited imaging contrast,nonspecific response,and even false-positive ***,we developed a H2S/H+dual-stimuli responsive NIR-II fluorescent probe,WH-N3,for precise tumor delimitation and intraoperative fluorescence-guided surgical ***-N3 itself is nonfluorescent,and it can only light up through synergistic activation by H2S and in the tumor acidic environment(TEM).Such a“duallock-dual-key”strategy-based activatable probe exhibited significantly higher tumor-to-normal tissue(T/N)ratios than the“always on”agent(ICG)and single parameter responsive counterpart probes in the imaging of colon tumors,which overexpresses ***-N3 was also able to visualize the tumor-derived endogenous H2S fluctuation and accurately differentiate tumor types based on H2S content *** excitingly,under the guidance of the probe’s highly specific NIR-II fluorescence,a tiny orthotopic colon tumor with diameter down to 0.8 mm was facilely *** expect our dual-stimuli responsive strategy will contribute more reliable tools for specific discrimination and imaging-guided excision of tumor.

Recovery Behavior of the Propagating Buckle on Elastic Structures

Based on the beam system model used by Chater, Hutchinson and Neale (1982), the recovery behavior of propagating buckle on elastic structures is first found out from the computational results. As the representative of some elastic structures, the Chater-Hutchinson-Neale model indicates that once the buckle meets arrestors, unlike the case in submarine pipelines, it will be reflected back to continue its propagation in a negative phase or a negative direction. The pressure which maintains the negative propagation, however, is as same as that required for the positive propagation. This fact has been examined in the experiment of the bulge propagation on a long elastic latex tube. The present discovery greatly supports the hypothesis that the buckle propagation corresponds to the coexisting phase of structures.
