H_(2)O_(2)is an environmentally friendly chemical for a wide range of water *** industrial production of H_(2)O_(2)is an anthraquinone oxidation process,which,however,consumes extensive energy and produces *** we report a green and sustainable piezocatalytic intermediate water splitting process to simultaneously obtain H_(2)O_(2)and H_(2)using single crystal vanadium(V)-doped NaNbO_(3)(V-NaNbO_(3))nanocubes as *** introduction of V improves the specific surface area and active sites of NaNbO_(3).Notably,V-NaNbO_(3)piezocatalysts of 10 mg exhibit 3.1-fold higher piezocatalytic efficiency than the same catalysts of 50 mg,as more piezocatalysts lead to higher probability of *** aggregation causes reducing active sites and decreased built-in electric field due to the neutralization between different ***,piezocatalytic H_(2)O_(2)and H_(2)production rates of V-NaNbO_(3)(10 mol%)nanocubes(102.6 and 346.2μmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1),respectively)are increased by 2.2 and 4.6 times compared to the as-prepared pristine NaNbO_(3)counterparts,*** improved catalytic efficiency is attributed to the promoted piezo-response and more active sites of NaNbO_(3)catalysts after V doping,as uncovered by piezoresponse force microscopy(PFM)and density functional theory(DFT)*** importantly,our DFT results illustrate that inducing V could reduce the dynamic barrier of water dissociation over NaNbO_(3),thus enhancing the yield of H_(2)O_(2)and H_(2).This facile yet robust piezocatalytic route using minimal amounts of catalysts to obtain H_(2)O_(2)and H_(2)may stand out as a promising candidate for environmental applications and water splitting.

Siltation gradient and siltation length are important parameters for designing gravity check dams for debris flows,which directly affect the accuracy of estimates of interception *** present,siltation gradient calculations are based primarily on empirical values,and range from 0.4 to 0.95 times the channel slope *** middle reaches of the Bailong River are one of the four areas in China that are most severely affected by debris flow *** dams are widely employed in this mountainous ***,field studies of their capacity are *** this paper,the operations of check dams were *** on field investigation results and theoretical analysis,calculations for siltation gradient,siltation length,and dam storage capacity are *** impact of debris flow density,channel slope,and particle size weight percentages are *** calculations show that the theoretical values for siltation gradient are consistent with measured values with 83.6% accuracy;and theoretical values of siltation length are consistent with measured values with 91.6% *** results of this research are an important reference for optimal height and spacing of dams,estimation of dam storage capacity,and disaster prevention.

Application of 3D Visual Techniques in Daliuta Coal Mine

3D visualization is one of major problems in “Digital Mine” theory and its technological research field. Through the observation of 3D geological models, spatial structural information, connected with the information of production management hidden in geological data, could be detected. In order to meet the requirement of more efficient coal exploration, a case study of geological characters of the Daliuta Coal Mine is presented in which 3D visual models of the ground surface and geologic bodies are established on the basis of data models and data structures of 3D geology modeling. The main conclusions of this study are as follows: (1) Through analysis and organization of spatial discrete data, the drillhole database is designed with the data of the Daliuta mine; the connections amomg drillhole data are real- ized and displayed in a 3D environment. (2) Combining real data of the Daliuta mine, drillhole visualization is realized in a 3D environment by using the CoalMiner system. (3) The ground surface modeling of the Daliuta coal mine adopted a surface-data model and a TIN data structure. (4) 3D models of coal seams and rock formations of the Daliuta mine are established, which provide a method for the simulation of complex surfaces of geologic bodies. In the end, the models are applied to the Daliuta coal mine and the result shows that better geological effects are obtained.

In this paper, we consider the generalized variational inequality GVI（F, g, C）, where F and g are mappings from a Hilbert space into itself and C is the fixed point set of a nonexpansive mapping. We propose two iterative algorithms to find approximate solutions of the GVI（F,g, C）. Strong convergence results are established and applications to constrained generalized pseudo-inverse are included.

In vehicle Ad-hoc netwok （VANET）, traffic load is often unevenly distributed among access points （APs）. Such load imbalance hampers the network from fully utilizing the network capacity. To alleviate such imbalance, the paper introduces a novel pricing game model. The research scene is at the intersection when the traffic light is green. As vehicles are highly mobile and the network typology changes dynamically, the paper divides the green light time into equal slots and calculates APs＇ prices with the presented pricing game in each time slot. The whole process is a repeated game model. The final equilibrium solution set is APs＇ pricing strategy, and the paper claim that this equilibrium solution set can affect vehicles＇ selection and ensure APs＇ load-balancing. Simulation results based on a realistic vehicular traffic model demonstrate the effectiveness of the game method.

The primary cracks in the rock block undergo series of steps and finally disintegrate,during this procession,the radius affects the impact force of rock block in clastic ***,it is essential to figure out the evolution mechanism of crack propagation for the design of engineering *** this study,based on fracture mechanics and Hertz contact theory,collision happened between rock block and slope surface is assumed to be elastic *** on the above assumption,the critical impact force of crack propagation is obtained,and a model used to calculate the crack propagation length in a single collision is ***,a rock fall site in Jiuzhai Valley was used to verify the calculation *** to the model,several key factors were identified to influence crack propagation length including falling height,initial equivalent radius,and recovery coefficient of slope ***,as a result of the orthogonal experiment,the influence of those factors on the crack propagation length was ranked,normal recovery coefficient>initial radius>initial falling *** addition,the kinetic energy of the rock block in the compression stage is transformed into elastic deformation energy,angular kinetic energy,and dissipated energy of crack *** to the increase of collisions,the kinetic energy is gradually transformed into angular kinetic energy,and the dissipated energy of crack propagation weights is *** conclusion,the crack propagation in rock block is a complicated progress,which is affected by multiple factors,especially falling height,initial equivalent radius,and recovery coefficient of slope *** study may provide guidance for the design of protective structure of clastic flows.

Single crystal rare-earth magnets,such as hexagonal-close-packed gadolinium,usually have a large second order anisotropy K2 and a negative first order anisotropy K1 at low temperatures,which are difficult to explain using microscopic *** atomic scale effective spin Hamiltonian F|{Si}|is proposed,which,apart from the usual isotropic nearest neighbor coupling J,consists of two new terms that are different for in-plane and out-of-plane neighbors and which are characterized by two new couplings C1 and C2,*** hybrid Monte-Carlo method is utilized to sample this system to the desired Boltzmann-like distribution exp(-F/kBT).It is found that K2 and K1 are compatible with the experimental values and arise naturally from the exchange anisotropy C1 and C2,which are less than 0.01%in magnitude of the isotropic exchange energy *** new model spin Hamiltonian can also be applied to study other magnetic properties.
