Objective:This study aimed to explore the orthographic processing of simplified Chinese characters in developmental dyslexic children in Kashgar,Xinjiang,China,and provide a theoretical basis for intervention strategies for developmental dyslexia in ***:Using event-related potential(ERP)measures,18 developmental dyslexic children and 23 typically developing children performed a character decision task with three types of stimuli:real characters(RCs),pseudocharacters(PCs),and noncharacters(NCs).Results:Behavioral results showed that the control children displayed a faster and higher accurate performance than the dyslexic children across PCs and *** data revealed that the RCs and PCs elicited a stronger P200 than the *** with the RCs and NCs,children in the control group showed more N400 negatives for *** is worth mentioning that dyslexic children did not show any difference on N400,which reflected the insufficient orthographic processing of dyslexic children in ***:These results show that Chinese dyslexic children had orthographic processing defects.

Objective To investigate the relationship between trans, trans-muconic acid （ttMA） as benzene metabolite of occupational workers and benzene concentration in air. Methods A rapid and sensitive high-performance liquid chromatography was developed to determine the level of urinary ttMA. ttMA was extrated from urinary samples in liquid-liquid phase a ODS （2）（5u） column （Ф4.6 min× 150 mm） and detected at wavelength 264 nm in a UV detector using vanillic acid as an internal standard. The mobile phase was acetaticacid/tetrahydrofuran/methanol/water （v/v, 1：2：10：87）. The method was validated with 56 urine samples collected from occupationally benzene-exposed individuals. Results A correlation coefficient （r = 0.9963 ） was found for ttMA ranging 0.10-10.00 μg/mL. The limit of detection was 0.10μ g/mL. The recovery and reproducibility were generally over 90%. There was a positive correlation between ttMA and benzene level in air. The equation was Y=0.859＋0.108C （before work, r=0.6200） or Y=1.980＋0.179C （after work, r=0.7930）. Conclusion This method can be used to determine and control the level of urinary ttMA in those who are occupationally exposed to benzene.

The Tian-ma Radio Telescope(TMRT) applies an Active Surface System(ASFS), which corrects for large-scale deformations due to gravity and thermal on the primary reflector. The centralized and automated management of the ASFS using software has become a challenge, for which we have developed the TMRT Active Surface System Control Software(TASCS). This paper describes the design and implementation of TASCS for device control,status monitoring, human-computer interaction, and data management functionalities. TASCS adopts the opensource Tango Controls framework and distributes middleware technology to realize real-time automated adjustment of the primary reflector through remote centralized control of a large number of actuators. At present, it has been successfully deployed on the TMRT and has played an important role in Event Horizon Telescope observations.

Dear Editor： I am Dr Xiao-Mei Ma, from the Department of Pathology in Changzheng Hospital at the Second Military Medical University, Shanghai, China. We present here a case report of a seminal vesicle cyst （SVC） in a young man with epididymal tissue in a dysgenetic kidney and ectopic ureteral insertion. SVCs are usually found in the second to fourth decades of life. SVCs can be congenital or acquired. Congenital SVCs seem to be invariably associated with renal dysplasia, hypoplasia, agenesis and duplication abnormalities in the same side, with the exception of two cases .

Adsorption Kinetics of 2,2′,4,4′-Tetrabromodiphenyl Ether(BDE-47) on Maize Straw-Derived Biochars

The chars in the natural environment can affect the migration of polybrominated diphenyl ethers(PBDEs). However, there is insufficient research relating to the adsorption behavior and mechanisms of PBDEs on biochars. This study examined the adsorption kinetics of 2,2′,4,4′-tetrabromodiphenyl ether(BDE-47) on maize straw-derived biochars(MSBCs) pyrolyzed at four different temperatures via batch experiments. The biochar samples were characterized using Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy,Raman spectra, and elemental analysis. A two-compartment first-order model and pseudo-second-order model exhibited a better fit compared to a pseudo-first-order model in describing the BDE-47 adsorption on biochars, which was dominated by a slow adsorption compartment and chemisorption. The MSBC pyrolyzed at 600 °C had the highest BDE-47 adsorption capacity owing to its relatively large specific surface area and relatively high aromaticity compared with the other three MSBCs pyrolyzed at 300, 400, and 500 ℃.However, there was no significant difference in adsorption capacity among the other three biochars. The organic functional groups coupled with the graphene structures of biochars and the hydrophobic effect of the functional groups promoted the adsorption of BDE-47. Pore diffusion was not the sole rate-limiting step;film diffusion was also involved in the adsorption process of BDE-47 on biochars. The overall results demonstrate the transport and potential treatment of PBDEs using biochars.

Background Bifurcation angles may have an impact on the clinical outcomes of crush stenting. We sought to compare high （≥60°） with low （〈60°） bifurcation angle in patients who underwent either classical or double kissing （DK） crush stenting for bifurcation lesions from the DKCRUSH-1 data base. Methods There were 212 patients with 220 lesions, some with low-angle （n=138） and some with high-angle （n=74）. Angiography was indexed at 8-month after procedure. Primary endpoint was the occurrence of major adverse cardiac events （MACEs）, defined as cardiac death, myocardial infarction and target lesion revascularization （TLR）. Secondary endpoint included late lumen loss, the rate of restenosis, and final kissing balloon inflation （FKBI）. Results At 8 months, clinical follow-up was 100%; angiographic follow-up was 75% in the low-angle group and 83.3% in the high-angle group. There were no significant differences in the FKBI between the high-angle group （91.43%） and the low-angle group （82.39%）. In the high angle group, there was a significant difference in contrast volume used （P=0.005） but no significant difference in acute gain, minimum lumen diameter （MLD）, late loss and diameter stenosis in the pre-bifurcation segment, post-bifurcation segment or side branch. When lesions were assigned into with- （n=-133） and without-FKBI （n=42）, significant side-branch late loss was seen in the group without-FKBI （（0.65±0.49） mm vs （0.47±0.62） mm, P=0.02）, with a resultant greater restenosis rate （37.68% vs 18.32%, P=0.001）. No difference was detected in the MACE free survival rate between the high and low angle groups （82.39% vs 82.36%, P=0.84）. The rate of stent thrombosis tended to be higher in the lower-angle group although there was no significant difference （P=0.38）. The TLR free survival rate was 87.2% in the with-FKBI group vs 73.5% in the without-FKBI group （P=0.001）.
