Polypores play a cru cial role in energy recycling and forest regeneration in forest *** majority of them are wood degraders;some are forest pathogens and others are ectomycorrhizal *** basidiocarps provide food and shelter for many organisms,mostly invertebrates,but also some vertebrates,as well as food and medicine for *** extensive research on the species diversity and phylogenetic relationships of polypores in recent years,there remains a lack of comprehensive understanding of their distribution patterns and species composition at the large *** of polypores from the tropical zone,including tropical Africa,tropical America,and tropical Asia,were analyzed for species diversity,distribution patterns,major taxa,and nutritional modes.A total of 1,902 polypore species was found in the three regions,representing 8 orders,46families,and 250 genera of *** orders Polyporales(especially the family Polyporaceae)and Hymenochaetales(especially the family Hymenochaetaceae)had the most prolific taxa,with their species accounting for 93.4%of the total polypores *** of 1,565(or 82.3%)of the total 1,902 species were found in only one of the three regions studied,and we treat them temporarily as"regional endemic species".Only 141species were shared among all three regions,accounting for a mere 7.4%.Tropical Africa and tropical America had the greatest number of shared species and the highest S?rensen similarity index(SC)*** forests had a higher species richness compared with temperate to boreal forests of the Northern Hemisphere,and in addition,also a higher proportion of white rot polypores compared to brown rot and ectomycorrhizal *** study outlines the distribution patterns and species diversity of polypores in the world,shedding light on their ecological significance in diverse ecosystems.

The integration of Blockchain Technology(BT)with Digital Twins(DTs)is becoming increasingly recognized as an effective strategy to enhance trust,interoperability,and data privacy in virtual spaces such as the *** there is a significant body of research at the intersection of BT and DTs,a thorough review of the field has not yet been *** study performs a systematic literature review on BT and DTs,using the CiteSpace analytic tool to evaluate the content and bibliometric *** review covers 976 publications,identifying the significant effects of BT on DTs and the integration *** themes emerging from keyword analysis include augmented reality,smart cities,smart manufacturing,cybersecurity,lifecycle management,Ethereum,smart grids,additive manufacturing,blockchain technology,and *** on this analysis,the study proposes a development framework for BTenhanced DTs that includes supporting technologies and applications,main applications,advantages and functionalities,primary contexts of application,and overarching goals and ***,an examination of bibliometric data reveals three developmental phases in cross-sectional research on BT and DTs:technology development,technology use,and technology *** phases highlight the research field’s evolution and provide valuable direction for future studies on BTenhanced DTs.

Defect engineering in N-doped OMC for lightweight and high-efficiency electromagnetic wave absorption

Developing low density and efficient dielectric loss materials has become a research hotspot,which can greatly meet the demands of modern radars and settle the problem of electromagnetic wave ***,a series of N-doped ordered mesoporous carbon(OMC)materials with different nitrogen content were prepared via a modified self-assembly method and defect engineering in subsequent calcination *** was discovered that the content and type of nitrogen doping can be effectively modulated by the amount of precursor dicyandiamide,resulting in the changes in porous structure,carbon defects,electromagnetic properties,microwave absorption(MA)performance and radar cross section(RCS)reduction ***,as-fabricated OMC/N2.5 displays ideal MA performance,whose minimum reflection loss(RL(min))value reaches−35.3 dB at 7.76 GHz(3.0 mm)and its effective absorption bandwidth reaches 3.52 GHz(10.64-14.16 GHz,2.0 mm).Furthermore,the optimal RCS reduction values can be obtained as 12.01 dB·m^(2) when the detection theta is 30°,which validly reduces the chances of being detected by ***,this work opens up a novel way for the development of lightweight and high-efficiency MA materials.

MGCPN:An Efficient Deep Learning Model for Tibetan Plateau Precipitation Nowcasting Based on the IMERG Data

The sparse and uneven placement of rain gauges across the Tibetan Plateau(TP) impedes the acquisition of precise,high-resolution precipitation measurements,thus challenging the reliability of forecast *** address such a challenge,we introduce a model called Multisource Generative Adversarial Network-Convolutional Long Short-Term Memory(GAN-ConvLSTM) for Precipitation Nowcasting(MGCPN),which utilizes data products from the Integrated Multi-satellite Retrievals for global precipitation measurement(IMERG) data,offering high spatiotemporal resolution precipitation forecasts for upcoming periods ranging from 30 to 300 *** results of our study confirm that the implementation of the MGCPN model successfully addresses the problem of underestimating and blurring precipitation results that often arise with increasing forecast *** issue is a common challenge in precipitation forecasting ***,we have used multisource spatiotemporal datasets with integrated geographic elements for training and prediction to improve model *** model demonstrates its competence in generating precise precipitation nowcasting with IMERG data,offering valuable support for precipitation research and forecasting in the TP *** metrics results obtained from our study further emphasize the notable advantages of the MGCPN model;it outperforms the other considered models in the probability of detection(POD),critical success index,Heidke Skill Score,and mean absolute error,especially showing improvements in POD by approximately 33%,19%,and 8% compared to Convolutional Gated Recurrent Unit(ConvGRU),ConvLSTM,and small Attention-UNet(SmaAt-UNet) models.

Changes in Sediment Sources in the Southern Muddy Area of Weihai,China,Since the Late Pleistocene:A Record from Rare Earth Elements

The small muddy areas developed in the southern Shandong Peninsula have attracted increasing attention from researchers because of complex changes in sediment sources driven by sea-level fluctuations and land-sea interactions since the late *** study investigates the evolution of sediment sources and their responses to environmental changes since the late Pleistocene,using core WHZK01 collected from the nearshore muddy area in southern Weihai for rare earth element(REE)*** doing so,this work highlights the changing patterns of material sources and the primary control *** results reveal that the sedimentary deposits in core WHZK01 exhibit distinct terrestrial *** function analysis(F_(D))and source discrimination dia-grams both suggest that the primary sources of these deposits are the Yellow River and adjacent small and medium-sized rivers,although the sources vary among different sedimentary ***,the DU3 layer(17.82-25.10 m)displays typical riverine sedimentation,dominated by terrestrial detrital input,primarily from the local rivers,namely the Huanglei and Muzhu *** material in the DU2 layer(14.91-17.82 m)is mainly influenced by a mixture of the Qinglong and Yellow *** DU1 layer(0-14.91 m)is influenced by sea-level changes during the Holocene,with the Yellow River being the primary source,although there is also some input from local *** changes in sea level during the Holocene and the input of Yellow River material carried by the coastal currents of the Yellow Sea are identified as the main controlling factors for the changes in material sources in the study area since the late Pleistocene,with small and mediumsized rivers also exerting some influence on the material *** above mentioned findings not only contribute to a better understanding of the source-sink systems of the Yellow River and adjacent small and mediumsized rivers but also deepen our understanding of the la

Measuring drug similarity using drug–drug interactions

A Review of Type 1 and Type 2 Intraductal Papillary Neoplasms of the Bile Duct

Intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct(IPNB)is a heterogeneous disease similar to intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm of the *** lesions have been recognized as one of the three major precancerous lesions in the biliary tract since *** 2018,Japanese and Korean pathologists reached a consensus,classifying IPNBs into type l and type 2 *** are more prevalent in male patients in East Asia and are closely related to diseases such as cholelithiasis and *** a molecular genetic perspective,IPNBs exhibit early genetic variations,and different molecular pathways may be involved in the tumorigenesis of type 1 and type 2 *** histological subtypes of IPNBs include gastric,intestinal,pancreaticobiliary,or oncocytic subtypes,but type 1 IPNBs typically exhibit more regular and well-organized histological features than type 2 IPNBs and are more commonly found in the intrahepatic bile ducts with abundant *** to the rarity of these lesions and the absence of specific clinical and laboratory features,imaging is crucial for the preoperative diagnosis of IPNB,with local bile duct dilation and growth along the bile ducts being the main imaging *** resection remains the optimal treatment for IPNBs,but negative bile duct margins and the removal of lymph nodes in the hepatic hilum significantly improve the postoperative survival rates for patients with IPNBs.

Surveillance-image-based outdoor air quality monitoring

Air pollution threatens human health,necessitating effective and convenient air quality ***,there has been a growing interest in using camera images for air quality ***,a major challenge has been nighttime detection due to the limited visibility of nighttime *** we present a hybrid deep learning model,capitalizing on the temporal continuity of air quality changes for estimating outdoor air quality from surveillance *** model,which integrates a convolutional neural network(CNN)and long short-term memory(LSTM),adeptly captures spatial-temporal image features,enabling air quality estimation at any time of day,including PM_(2.5) and PM10 concentrations,as well as the air quality index(AQI).Compared to independent CNN networks that solely extract spatial features,our model demonstrates superior accuracy on self-constructed datasets with R^(2)?0.94 and RMSE=5.11 mg m^(-3) for PM_(2.5),R^(2)=0.92 and RMSE=7.30 mg m^(-3) for PM10,and R^(2)=0.94 and RMSE?5.38 for ***,our model excels in daytime air quality estimation and enhances nighttime predictions,elevating overall *** across diverse image datasets and comparative analyses underscore the applicability and superiority of our model,reaffirming its applicability and superiority for air quality monitoring.
