Fluorinated graphene quantum dots with long-term lubrication for visual drug loading and joint inflammation therapy

Osteoarthritis(OA)treatment mainly relies on developing new drugs or nanocarriers,while little attention is paid to building novel remedial mode and improving drug loading *** work reports an integrated nanosystem that not only realizes visual drug loading and release,but also achieves enhanced lubrication and effective joint inflammation therapy based on fluorinated graphene quantum dots(FGQDs).Oxygen introduction promotes FGQDs outstanding water-stability for months,and layered nano-sized structure further guarantees excellent lubricating properties in biomimetic synovial *** special design of chemistry and structure endows FGQDs robust fluorescence in a wide range of pH ***,the excitation spectrum of FGQDs well overlaps the absorption spectrum of drugs,which further constructs a new concept of internal filtering system to visually monitor drug loading by naked *** importantly,extraordinary long-term lubrication performance is reported,which is the first experimental demonstration of concentration-dependent mutations of coefficient of friction(COF).Cell incubation experiments indicate that drug-loaded FGQDs have good biocompatibility,tracking property of cellular uptake and drug release,which show efficient anti-inflammation potential for H2O2-induced chondrocyte degradation by up-regulated cartilage anabolic *** study establishes a promising OA treatment strategy that enables to monitor drug loading and release,to enhance long-time lubricating property,and to show effective anti-inflammatory potential for cartilage protection.

In the past few decades,the field of DNA origami based micro/nanotechnology has developed dramatically and spawned attention increasingly,as its high integrality,rigid structure,and excellent resistance ability to enzyme *** two-dimensional and three-dimensional DNA nanostructures coordinated with optical,chemical,or magnetic triggers have been designed and assembled,extensively used as versatile templates for molecular robots,nanosensors,and intracellular drug *** magnetic field has been widely regarded as an ideal driving and operating system for micro/nanomaterials,as it does not require high intensity lasers like light control,nor does it need to change the chemical composition similar to chemical ***,we review the recent achievements in the induction and actuation of DNA origami-based nanodevices that respond to magnetic *** magnetic actuation-based DNA nanodevices were regularly combined with magnetic beads or gold nanopartides and applied to generate single stranded scaffolds,assemble various DNA nanostructures,and purify specific DNA ***,they also produced artificial magnetism or moved regularly driven by *** fields to explain deeper scientific issues.

This work describes a calibration process for inexpensive consumer cameras integrated into a low cost and compact aerial multi-view imager for remote sensing and *** main advantage of this design is to make the filming component lightweight and rapidly deployable,as well as reducing cost when compared with mainstream commercial oblique *** in situ flight test was carried out in *** that experiment,a meridian convergence-based approach was adopted to adjust preprocessing,the residue error and the captured images’exterior orientation linear and angular parameters were calculated by means of the direct geo-referencing approach yielding a favorable outcome for exterior orientation linear parameters of the camera,around 0.2–0.3 m deviation from the actual measured results at 1000 m flight above ground *** camera’s exterior orientation angular parametersφ,ωwhose difference compared with the standard aerial aero triangulation approach reached a high accuracy level within the intended endurance of 0.005°.These results indicate that the compact implementation of the oblique aerial imager comprised of consumer level off-the-shelf digital cameras achieved competitive accuracy at a low cost and high versatility.

Multi-hop reasoning over language or graphs represents a significant challenge in contemporary research,particularly with the reliance on deep neural *** networks are integral to text reasoning processes,yet they present challenges in extracting and representing domain or commonsense knowledge,and they often lack robust logical reasoning *** address these issues,we introduce an innovative text reasoning *** framework is grounded in the use of a semantic relation graph and a graph neural network,designed to enhance the model’s ability to encapsulate knowledge and facilitate complex multi-hop *** framework operates by extracting knowledge from a broad range of *** constructs a semantic relationship graph based on the logical relationships inherent in the reasoning *** with the core question,the framework methodically deduces key knowledge,using it as a guide to iteratively establish a complete evidence chain,thereby determining the final *** the advanced reasoning capabilities of the graph neural network,this approach is adept at multi-hop logical *** demonstrates strong performance in tasks like machine reading comprehension and question answering,while also clearly delineating the path of logical reasoning.

To address the two critical issues of evaluating the necessity of implementing cooling techniques and achieving real-time temperature control of drilling fluids underground in the current drilling fluid cooling technology,we first established a temperature and pressure coupled downhole heat transfer model,which can be used in both water-based and oil-based drilling ***,fourteen factors,which could affect wellbore temperature,were *** on the standard deviation of the downhole temperature corresponding to each influencing factor,the influence of each factor was *** influencing factors that can be used to guide the drilling fluid's cooling technology were drilling fluid thermal conductivity,drilling fluid heat capacity,drilling fluid density,drill strings rotation speed,pump rate,viscosity,ROP,and injection *** nondominated sorting genetic algorithm was used to optimize these six parameters,but the optimization process took 182 *** these eight parameters'influence rules with the nondominated sorting genetic algorithm can reduce the optimization time to 108 ***,the downhole temperature has been demonstrated to increase with the inlet temperature increasing linearly under quasi-steady *** this law and PID,the downhole temperature can be controlled,which can reduce the energy for cooling the surface drilling fluid and can ensure the downhole temperature reaches the set value as soon as possible.

Damaged neurons and harsh microenvironments contribute to the injury cascades following traumatic brain injury(TBI).Mesenchymal stem cell(MSC)therapy is considered a viable choice for brain in-jury treatment;however,its clinical use is hindered by limited engraftment,low survival ratio,and uncontrolled ***,the decellularized brain extracellular matrix(dBECM)was prepared through a new method as a delivery system for ***-based hydrogel with favorable biochem-ical and biomechanical features provides a microenvironment for MSCs in nerve *** MSCs-encapsulated dBECM-based hydrogel is shown to improve neuron compensation and structural regen-eration,alleviate neuroinflammation,and promote M1-to-M2 polarization of *** results first demonstrate that the combination of dBECM and MSCs is a critical vehicle to promote TBI repair from neurogenesis and immunoregulation,showing promise for the physiological recovery of neurogenic dis-eases and injuries.

Optimization of Thermal Conductivity of Alumina-Filled Composites by Numerical Simulations

Understanding the correlation between the physical features of composite components and thermal conductive pathway is beneficial to optimizing the overall heat-transfer ***,we conduct numerical simulation to investigate the thermal conductivity and heat flux distributions of alumina(Al_(2)O_(3))-filled *** finite element model was verified by both experimental data and theoretical *** crucial factors include the influence of the interface thermal resistance,the intrinsic thermal conductivity of the matrix and Al_(2)O_(3)filler,and the size effect of Al_(2)O_(3)fillers were *** single Al_(2)O_(3)-filled composites,the results indicate that increasing the intrinsic thermal conductivity of the matrix is conductive to bridge the Al_(2)O_(3)pathway along heat-transfer direction,but there are very limited contributions by enhancing the intrinsic thermal conductivity of Al_(2)O_(3)filler,tuning the size of Al_(2)O_(3)filler,and reducing the interface thermal *** introducing the multiscale fillers,it is found that the high thermal conductivity can be achieved by regulating their size matching *** the optimal binary ratio of 70:30(40µm:15µm)and ternary ratio of 55:35:10(40µm:15µm:10µm),the heat-conduction network presents the dominant skeleton of large-sized filler and the bridging branch of small-sized fillers features,which facilitates the formation of a complete and continuous thermal conductive *** study gives a practical guidance for the thermal conductive design of Al_(2)O_(3)-filled composites.

The hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and dendrite growth associated with Zn anode have become the main bottlenecks for the further development of zinc ion batteries (ZIBs).In this work,the electrochemical activity of H_(3)O^(+) is inhibited by the supramolecular host–guest complex composed of H_(3)O^(+) as guest and 18-crown-6 as *** even Zn plating is induced by the host–guest complex electrostatic shielding layer on Zn anode,as detected by in-situ optical *** lamellar Zn is plated which profits from the improved Zn plating *** functional theory (DFT) calculation presents the stable structure of *** less produced H_(2) content is monitored online by a mass spectrometer during Zn plating/stripping,which indicates HER can be hampered by the host–guest ***,the ZIBs with long life and high Coulombic efficiency are achieved via introducing *** proposed host–guest supramolecular interaction is expected to facilitate the furthermore development of Zn batteries.
