Clear cell renal cell carcinoma(ccRCC)represents the most frequent form of renal cell carcinoma(RCC),and accurate International Society of Urological Pathology(ISUP)grading is crucial for prognosis and treatment *** study presents a new deep network called Multi-scale Fusion Network(MsfNet),which aims to enhance the automatic ISUP grade of ccRCC with digital histopathology pathology *** MsfNet overcomes the limitations of traditional ResNet50 by multi-scale information fusion and dynamic allocation of channel *** model was trained and tested using 90 Hematoxylin and Eosin(H&E)stained whole slide images(WSIs),which were all cropped into 320×320-pixel patches at 40×*** achieved a micro-averaged area under the curve(AUC)of 0.9807,a macro-averaged AUC of 0.9778 on the test *** Gradient-weighted Class Activation Mapping(Grad-CAM)visually demonstrated MsfNet’s ability to distinguish and highlight abnormal areas more effectively than *** t-Distributed Stochastic Neighbor Embedding(t-SNE)plot indicates our model can efficiently extract critical features from images,reducing the impact of noise and redundant *** results suggest that MsfNet offers an accurate ISUP grade of ccRCC in digital images,emphasizing the potential of AI-assisted histopathological systems in clinical practice.

Improvement of Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Rapid Cooling Friction Stir-welded A1050 Pure Aluminum

Two-mm thick A1050 pure aluminum plates were successfully joined by conventional and rapid cooling friction stir welding(FSW), respectively. The microstructure and mechanical properties of the welded joints were investigated by electron backscatter diffraction characterization, Vickers hardness measurements, and tensile testing. The results showed that liquid CO_(2) coolant significantly reduced the peak temperature and increased the cooling rate, so the rapidly cooled FSW joint exhibited fine grains with a large number of dislocations. The grain refinement mechanism of the FSW A1050 pure aluminum joint was primarily attributed to the combined effects of continuous dynamic recrystallization, grain subdivision, and geometric dynamic recrystallization. Compared with conventional FSW, the yield strength, ultimate tensile strength, and fracture elongation of rapidly cooled FSW joint were significantly enhanced, and the welding efficiency was increased from 80% to 93%. The enhanced mechanical properties and improved synergy of strength and ductility were obtained due to the increased dislocation density and remarkable grain refinement. The wear of the tool can produce several WC particles retained in the joint, and the contribution of second phase strengthening to the enhanced strength should not be ignored.

Background:Copper and zinc are involved in the development of multiple malignancies;yet,epidemiological evidence on hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is *** study aimed to investigate the association between dietary intake and serum levels of copper and zinc with the risk of ***:A total of 434 case-control pairs matched for sex and age(±1 year)were included in this *** with newly diagnosed HCC were from the Guangdong liver Cancer Cohort(GLCC)study,and healthy controls were from the Guangzhou Nutrition and Health Study(GNHS).A semi-quantitative 79-item food frequency questionnaire(FFQ)was used to assess habitual dietary intakes of copper and *** levels of copper and zinc were measured by using inductively coupled plasma mass *** copper(Cu)/zinc(Zn)ratio was computed by dividing copper levels by zinc *** logistic regression models were performed to calculate the odds ratio(OR)and 95%confidence intervals(CI)for per 1 standard deviation increase(per-SD increase)in copper and zinc ***:Higher dietary intake(OR_(per-SD increase)=0.65,95%CI:0.44,0.96,P_(trend)=0.029)and serum levels of zinc(OR_(per-SD increase)=0.11,95%CI:0.04,0.30,P_(trend)<0.001)were both associated with a lower risk of *** analyses showed that the inverse association was only pronounced in men but not in women(P_(interaction)=0.041 for dietary zinc intake and 0.010 for serum zinc levels).Serum copper levels(OR_(per-SD increase)=2.05,95%CI:1.39,3.03,P_(trend)=0.020)and serum Cu/Zn ratio(OR_(per-SD increase)=6.53,95%CI:2.52,16.92,P_(trend)<0.001)were positively associated with HCC risk,while dietary copper intake and dietary Cu/Zn ratio were not associated with HCC ***:Zinc may be a protective factor for HCC,especially among men,but the effects of copper on HCC risk are not clear.

Background:Studies that comprehensively address the characteristics of centenarian deaths are *** present study aimed to depict the characteristics of centenarian deaths in China and their changing ***:Data on centenarian deaths between 2013 and 2020 were obtained from the national mortality surveillance system of China,including date,place of death(PoD),and underlying cause of death(CoD).Descriptive analyses were performed to understand the epidemiological characteristics,and a joinpoint regression model was adopted to examine the changing trends in the proportions of different PoDs,CoDs among centenarians,and centenarian deaths accounting for all deaths and deaths among people aged 65 years and ***:There were 46,938 registered centenarian deaths between 2013 and 2020 that included 34,311 females(73.10%)and 12,627 males(26.90%).January(12.05%),February(9.99%),and December(9.74%)were the top three months with the highest number of *** proportions of deaths that occurred in homes,hospitals,and nursing homes were 81.71%,13.63%,and 2.68%,*** proportion of deaths in nursing homes increased by 9.60%(95%confidence intervals[CIs],6.4-12.9%)from 2014 to *** disease(35.72%)was the leading cause of death,followed by respiratory diseases(17.63%),cerebrovascular disease(15.60%),and old age(11.22%).The proportion of respiratory diseases decreased by 4.8%(95%CI,-8.8 to-0.7%),and the proportion of deaths from old age decreased by 2.3%(95%CI,-4.4 to-0.1%)per *** had the highest proportions of deaths in hospitals(39.38%)and nursing homes(14.68%).Sichuan had the highest proportion of deaths attributed to respiratory diseases(32.30%),while Jiangsu(26.58%)and Zhejiang(23.61%)had the highest proportions of deaths from old ***:Unlike other countries,centenarian deaths in China are characterized by a higher proportion of home and heart disease deaths,and this death pattern differs across provinces.

文章选取增值税进项留抵视角,考虑企业在增值税税率下调政策带来的税负效应和税收红利共享(或税负转嫁)效应下如何优化资产配置.税收红利共享(或税负转嫁)可影响以下价格组合:(i)不含(增值)税销售价格、购买价格;(ii)不含(增值)税销售价格、含(增值)税购买价格;(iii)含(增值)税销售价格、不含(增值)税购买价格;(iv)含(增值)税销售价格、购买价格.研究发现:1)销项税率下调:规模报酬递减下,企业会增多投资资本与劳动力,减少投资金融资产,否则相反;2)进项税率下调:情形(i)下,规模报酬递增且金融资产预期回报率低于附加税税率或规模报酬递减且金融资产预期回报率高于附加税税率下,企业会增多投资资本与劳动力,否则相反;情形(ii)∼(iv)下,规模报酬递减时,企业会减少投资资本与劳动力,增多投资金融资产,否则相反;3)增值税销、进项税率同时下调:情形(i)、(iii)下,规模报酬递增且金融资产预期回报率高于附加税税率时,企业会减少投资资本与劳动力,增多投资金融资产;规模报酬递减且金融资产预期回报率高于附加税税率时,企业会增多投资资本与劳动力.文章使用制造业等相关数据,模拟四种价格组合增值税税率与资产配置优化的关系以回证结论;文章也使用我国2016–2021年A股上市公司数据,发现实证结果也回证了结论.而在我国规模报酬递减的现行国情下,文章也从企业微观行为说明下调增值税税率的原因.

Cuproptosis is a newly discovered type of programmed cell death that involves the depletion of intracellular copper and is not influenced by other inhibitors of programmed cell *** modality was first identified and named by Tsvetkov et al in the previous year.1 To further explore the relationship between cuproptosis,the tumor microenvironment,immunotherapy,and prognosis for breast cancer(BC),the expression patterns of 19 cuproptosis-related long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)were determined using data from the Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA).
