Most of the neural network architectures are based on human experience,which requires a long and tedious trial-and-error *** architecture search(NAS)attempts to detect effective architectures without human *** algorithms(EAs)for NAS can find better solutions than human-designed architectures by exploring a large search space for possible *** multiobjective EAs for NAS,optimal neural architectures that meet various performance criteria can be explored and discovered ***,hardware-accelerated NAS methods can improve the efficiency of the *** existing reviews have mainly focused on different strategies to complete NAS,a few studies have explored the use of EAs for *** this paper,we summarize and explore the use of EAs for NAS,as well as large-scale multiobjective optimization strategies and hardware-accelerated NAS *** performs well in healthcare applications,such as medical image analysis,classification of disease diagnosis,and health *** for NAS can automate the search process and optimize multiple objectives simultaneously in a given healthcare *** neural network has been successfully used in healthcare,but it lacks *** data is highly sensitive,and privacy leaks are frequently reported in the healthcare *** solve these problems,in healthcare,we propose an interpretable neuroevolution framework based on federated learning to address search efficiency and privacy ***,we also point out future research directions for evolutionary ***,for researchers who want to use EAs to optimize NNs in healthcare,we analyze the advantages and disadvantages of doing so to provide detailed guidance,and propose an interpretable privacy-preserving framework for healthcare applications.

VPD modifies CO_(2) fertilization effect on tomato plants via abscisic acid and jasmonic acid signaling pathways

Atmospheric CO_(2)concentration is elevated globally,which has“CO_(2)fertilization effects”and potentially improves plant photosynthesis,yield,and *** the beneficial effect of CO_(2)fertilization being modulated by vapor pressure deficit(VPD),the underlying mechanism is highly *** the present study,the potential roles of hormones in determining CO_(2)fertilization effects under contrasting high and low VPD conditions were investigated by integrated physiological and transcriptomic *** CO_(2)fertilization effects were offset under high VPD conditions and were constrained by plant water stress and photosynthetic CO_(2)*** VPD induced a large passive water driving force,which disrupted the water balance and consequently caused plant water *** water potential,turgor pressure,and hydraulic conductance declined under high VPD *** physiological evidence combined with transcriptomic analyses demonstrated that abscisic acid(ABA)and jasmonic acid(JA)potentially acted as drought-signaling molecules in response to high VPD *** foliar ABA and JA content triggered stomatal closure to prevent excessive water loss under high VPD stress,which simultaneously increased the diffusion resistance for CO_(2)uptake from atmosphere to leaf intercellular *** VPD also significantly increased mesophyll resistance for CO_(2)transport from stomatal cavity to fixation site inside *** chloroplast“sink”CO_(2)availability was constrained by stomatal and mesophyll resistance under high VPD stress,despite the atmospheric“source”CO_(2)concentration being ***,ABA-and JA-mediated drought-resistant mechanisms potentially modified the beneficial effect of CO_(2)fertilization on photosynthesis,plant growth,and yield *** study provides valuable information for improving the utilization efficiency of CO_(2)fertilization and a better understanding of the physiological processes.

The yield ratios of neutron-proton(R(n/p))and^(3)H-^(3)He(R(^(3)H∕^(3)He))with reduced rapidity from 0 to 0.5 were simulated at 50 MeV/u even-even ^(36−56)Ca+^(40)Ca,even-even ^(48−78)Ni+^(58)Ni,and ^(100−139)Sn(every third isotopes)+112 Sn for full reduced impact parameters using the isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamics(IQMD)*** neutron and proton density distributions and root-mean-square radii of the reaction systems were obtained using the Skyrme-Hartree-Fock model,which was used for the phase space initialization of the projectile and target in *** defined the unified neutron skin thickness asΔRnp=^(1∕2) n−^(1∕2)p,which was negative for neutron-deficient *** unifiedΔRnp values for nuclei with the same relative neutron excess from different isotopic chains were nearly equal,except for extreme neutron-rich isotopes,which is a type of scaling *** yield ratios of the three isotopic chain-induced reactions,which depended on the reduced impact parameter and unified neutron skin thickness,were *** results showed that both R(n/p)and R(^(3)H∕^(3)He)decreased with a reduced impact parameter for extreme neutron-deficient isotopes;however,they increased with reduced impact parameters for extreme neutron-rich isotopes,and increased with theΔRnp of the projectiles for all reduced impact *** addition,a scaling phenomenon was observed betweenΔR np and the yield ratios in peripheral colli-sions from different isotopic chain projectiles(except for extreme neutron-rich isotopes).Thus,R(n/p)and R(^(3)H∕^(3)He)from peripheral collisions were suggested as experimental probes for extracting the neutron or proton skin thicknesses of non-extreme neutron-rich nuclei from different isotopic chains.

Bumblebees are important pollinators in agricultural ecosystems,but their abundance is declining *** is an urgent need to protect bumblebee health and their pollination *** possess specialized gut microbiota with potential to be used as probiotics to help defend at-risk bumblebee ***,evidence for probiotic benefits on bumblebees is ***,we evaluated how supplementation with Lactobacillus melliventris isolated from bumblebee gut affected the colony development of Bombus *** native strain colonized robustly and persisted long-term in bumblebees,leading to a significantly higher quality of ***,the tyrosine pathway was upregulated in the brain and fat body,while the Wnt and mTOR pathways of the gut were ***,the field experiment in the greenhouse revealed the supplementation of *** led to a 2.5-fold increase in the bumblebee survival rate and a more than 10%increase in the number of flowers visited,indicating a better health condition and pollination ability in field *** study represents a first screening for the potential use of the native gut member,***,as probiotic strains in hive supplement for bumblebee breeding,which may be a practical approach to improve immunity and hive health.

Microstructure and Mechanical Property of Mg‑13Gd‑0.2Ni Alloy Processed by Extrusion and Aging

In this work,a good combination of strength and ductility is achieved in a Mg-13Gd-0.2Ni alloy by conventional extrusion and following aging *** aged Mg-13Gd-0.2Ni alloy exhibits a yield strength(YS)of 363 MPa,an ultimate tensile strength(UTS)of 433 MPa,and an elongation of 11.9%.The aged Mg-13Gd-0.2Ni alloy contains a microstructure with a 95%proportion of dynamically recrystallized(DRXed)grains with a micron size,weak texture,and a high number density of prismaticβ′precipitates within *** bulk compounds enriched with Ni element which are mainly formed during casting and stable in the extruded and aged *** dynamic compounds are formed during extrusion,and a high density of prismaticβ′precipitates are formed during *** high density of prismaticβ′precipitates results in a significant increase in the strength of the Mg-13Gd-0.2Ni alloy,and the YS and UTS are increased by 153 and 136 MPa,*** high proportion of DRXed grains with a weak texture contributes mainly to the high ductility and the fine compounds with a low density at grain boundaries formed during aging have no significant adverse effect on ductility of the aged Mg-13Gd-0.2Ni *** findings for the novel Mg-Gd-Ni alloy can provide guidance for the design of wrought Mg alloys with superior mechanical properties.

In recent years,many cities have taken measures to reduce volatile organic compounds(VOCs),an important precursor of ozone(O_(3)),to alleviate O_(3) pollution in China.116 VOC species were measured by online and offline methods in the urban area of Jiaozuo from May to October in 2021 to analyze the compositional *** sources were analyzed by a positive matrix factorization(PMF)model,and the sensitivity of ozone generation was determined by ozone isopleth plotting research(OZIPR)*** results showed that the average volume concentration of total VOCs was 30.54 ppbv and showed a bimodal feature due to the rush-hour traffic in the morning and at *** most dominant VOC groups were oxygenated VOCs(OVOCs,29.3%)and alkanes(26.7%),and the most abundant VOC species were acetone and ***,based on the maximum incremental reactivity(MIR)method,the major VOC groups in terms of ozone formation potential(OFP)contribution were OVOCs(68.09μg/m^(3),31.5%),aromatics(62.90μg/m^(3),29.1%)and alkene/alkynes(54.90μg/m^(3),25.4%).This indicates that the control of OVOCs,aromatics and alkene/alkynes should take *** sources of VOCs were quantified by PMF,including fixed sources of fossil fuel combustion(27.8%),industrial processes(25.9%),vehicle exhaust(19.7%),natural and secondary formation(13.9%)and solvent usage(12.7%).The empirical kinetic modeling approach(EKMA)curve obtained by OZIPR on O_(3) exceedance days indicated that the O_(3) sensitivity varied in different *** results provide theoretical support for O_(3) pollution prevention and control in Jiaozuo.

The efficient conversion of CO_(2) into hydrocarbon fuels(CH_(4))with high selectivity is considered as a great challenge in photocatalysis owing to the multiple-electron transfer pathway and competitive H_(2) ***,we developed carbon dots(CDs)-modulated S-scheme heterojunction of CDs/NiAl-LDH@In_(2)O_(3)(C-DH@IN)through a facile in-situ hydrothermal *** to the multi-shell nanotube structure,the C-DH@IN shows an enhanced CH_(4) evolution rate of 10.67μmol h^(-1)g^(-1)and higher selectivity of CH_(4)(85.70%)compared with In_(2)O_(3) and Ni Al-LDH@In_(2)O_(3) binary catalyst in the pure water without sacrificial *** spin resonance(ESR)and in situ Fourier transform infrared spectra verify that the constructed S-scheme heterojunction can possess the strong redox capability and the HCOOand CH_(3)O-as critical intermediates play an important role in selective CO_(2) reduction to generate CH_(4).Furthermore,CDs with superior photoabsorption can boost the electron transfer and absorb H^(+),thus improving the integration of H^(+)and CO_(2) ***,this work emphasizes a facile strategy to achieve efficient CO_(2)-to-CH_(4) conversion based on construction of CDs-based heterojunction catalysts.

Molecular luminescent materials with optical waveguide have wide application prospects in light-emitting diodes, sensors, and logic gates. However, the majority of traditional optical waveguide systems are based on brittle molecular crystals, which limited the fabrication, transportation, storage, and adaptation of flexible devices under diverse application situations. To date, the design and synthesis of photofunctional materials with high flexibility, novel optical waveguide, and multi-port color-tunable emission in the same solid-state system remain an open challenge. Here, we have constructed new types of zero-dimensional organic metal halides (Au-4-dimethylaminopyridine [DMAP] and In-DMAP) with a rarely high elasticity and rather low loss coefficients for optical waveguide. Theoretical calculations on the intermolecular interactions showed that the high elasticity of 2 molecular crystalline materials was original from their herringbone structure and slip plane. Based on one-dimensional flexible microrods of 2 crystals and the 2-dimensional microplate of the Mn-DMAP, heterojunctions with multi-color and space-resolved optical waveguides have been fabricated. The formation mechanism of heterojunctions is based on the surface selective growth on account of the low lattice mismatch ratio between contacting crystal planes. Therefore, this work describes the first attempt to the design of metal-halide-based crystal heterojunctions with high flexibility and optical waveguide, expanding the prospects of traditional luminescent materials for smart optical devices, such as logic gates and multiplexers.
