Retinal diseases pose significant challenges to global healthcare systems,necessitating accurate and e±cient diagnostic *** Coherence Tomography(OCT)has emerged as a valuable tool for diagnosing and monitoring retinal conditions due to its noncontact and noninvasive *** paper presents a novel retinal layering method based on OCT images,aimed at enhancing the accuracy of retinal lesion *** method utilizes gradient analysis to effectively identify and segment retinal *** selecting a column of pixels as a segmentation line and utilizing gradient information from adjacent pixels,the method initiates and proceeds with the layering *** approach addresses potential issues arising from partial layer overlapping,minimizing deviations in layer *** results demonstrate the e±cacy of the proposed method in accurately segmenting eight retinal boundaries,with an average absolute position deviation of 1.75 *** providing accurate segmentation of retinal layers,this approach contributes to the early detection and management of ocular conditions,ultimately improving patient outcomes and reducing the global burden of vision-related ailments.

Large eddy simulations generally are used to predict 3D wind field characteristics in complex mountainous *** simulation boundary conditions,such as the height and length of the computational domain or the characteristics of inflow turbulence,can significantly impact the quality of *** this study,we examined these boundary conditions within the context of the mountainous terrain around a long-span cable-stayed bridge using a wind tunnel *** sizes of computational domains and turbulent incoming wind velocities were used in large eddy *** results show that when the height of the computational domain is five times greater than the height of the terrain model,there is minimal influence from the top wall on the wind field characteristics in this complex mountainous *** the length of the wake region of the computational domain has negligible effects on the wind *** in the inlet boundary reduces the length of the wake region on a leeward hill with a low slope,but has less impact on the mean wind velocity of steep hills.

Light-driven cancer theranostics has shown inexhaustible and vigorous vitality by virtue of its high efficacy,prominent controllability and *** of an all-round theranostic material simultaneously affording both multimodal diagnosis imaging and synergistic phototherapy would be an appealing yet significantly challenging ***,a novel nanomedicine Ir@PPEG-MeEPO was ingeniously constructed by integrating beforehand1O2-charged amphiphilic polymer and well-tailored Ir(Ⅲ)complex IrDPTP,which was featured by second near-infrared(NIR-Ⅱ)aggregation-induced emission(AIE)tendency,efficient reactive oxygen species(ROS)generation,good photothermal conversion efficiency and high-performance hydrogen gas *** the best of our knowledge,IrDPTP held the longest emission wavelength among all reported AIE Ir(Ⅲ)***,Ir@PPEG-MeEPO was capable of controllably releasing ROS via triggered photothermal effect upon NIR irradiation,making it well-adapted to hypoxic environment of *** distinctive characteristics of Ir@PPEG-MeEPO endowed it with unprecedented performance on sextuple theranostics comprised of NIR-Ⅱfluorescence-photoacoustic-photothermal trimodal imaging and photodynamic-photothermal-hydrogen trimodal therapy,witnessed by the precise tumor diagnosis and complete tumor *** study would open up new perspectives for the exploration of superior nanomedicine for practical cancer theranostics.

Environmental sediments mainly consisting of CaO–MgO–Al_(2)O_(3)–SiO_(2)(CMAS)corrosion are a serious threat to thermal barrier coatings(TBCs),in which Fe element is usually ***_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)TBCs are famous for their excellent CMAS *** this study,the characteristics of Fe-containing environmental sediments(CMAS-Fe)and their corrosiveness to Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)coatings were *** types of CMAS-Fe glass with different Fe contents were *** melting points were measured to be 1322–1344℃,and the high-temperature viscosity showed a decreasing trend with increasing Fe *** corrosion behavior of four types of CMAS-Fe to Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)coatings at 1350℃was *** the initial corrosion stage(0.1 h),anorthite was precipitated in CMAS-Fe with a high Ca:Si ratio,while Fe-garnet was formed in the melt with the highest Fe *** the corrosion time resulted in the formation of a reaction layer,which exhibited an interpenetrating network composed of Gd-oxyapatite,ZrO_(2),and residual *** spinel was precipitated within the reaction *** 1 h or even longer time,the reaction layers tended to be stable and compact,which had comparable hardness and fracture toughness to those of Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)*** the cyclic CMAS-Fe attack,the residual CMAS-Fe in the interpenetrating network provided a pathway for the redeposited CMAS-Fe infiltration,resulting in the continuous growth of the reaction *** a result,the Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)coatings had a large consumption in the thickness,degrading the coating ***,the Gd_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)coatings exhibit unsatisfactory corrosion resistance to CMAS-Fe attack.

ZnS and ZnS:3.125%Ce^(3+)(ZSC)quantum dots(QDs)were synthesized by a low-temperature solid-phase *** crystal structure,photoluminescence(PL)properties of ZSC QDs,and their effects on the growth and kojic acid production of Aspergillus oryzae(***)were *** is found that both QDs have a cubic blend structure with the average particle size ranging of 2.75-6.14 ***^(3+)doping not only increases the band gap of ZnS QDs from 3.43 to 3.48 eV,but also increases the PL intensity by about 2.23 times,which is due to the fact that the electron carrier concentration is improved,and then the rate of radiative recombination is *** integral emission intensity,biomass,extracellular proteins yield,and kojic acid production of *** cultured with ZSC(ZnS)QDs are about 4.31(3.23),1.61(1.20),1.12(1.09),and 2.99(1.68)times higher than that of medium without QDs,respectively.

The traditional high-temperature preparation process of polyimide can cause many problems and limits the wider application in extreme *** important challenge to be solved urgently is the reduction of imidization *** this work,twelve kinds of polyimide films with different chain rigidity were prepared at low temperature of 200℃,in the absence or presence of imidazole used as the *** molecular rigidity and free volume were theoretically calculated,and relationship between structure and properties were systematically *** results show that imidization reaction under low temperatures is significantly affected by the rigidity of molecula r *** rigid structure of polyimide is not conducive to the low-temperature imidization,but this adverse effect can be eliminated by adding catalyst,resulting the notably increased imidization *** optical and thermal properties can be improved to a certain extent for the chemically catalyzed system,resulting in relatively higher heat resistance and thermal *** the mechanical performance could be determined by com plicating factors,greatly different from polyimide films prepa red by high temperature *** investigate aggregation structures of film s,the effect of chain rigidity and catalyst on the stacking or orientation of molecular chains was further *** wo rk can contribute to the understanding of chemically catalyzed imidization that is rarely reported in the existing research,and will provide guidance for the low-temperature preparation of high-performance polyimides.
