We investigated the effects of ferro-vanadium slag(FVS)as a supplemental cementing material which can dissolve a large amount of active aluminum phases without excessive pretreatment or excitation to enhance the inner chloride solidified rate(CSR)of cement-based ***-FVS pastes with 0-30%content of FVS was designed,and the CSR was *** at different curing ages were studied by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and thermo-gravimetric analysis(TGA);hydration heat and^(29)Si nuclear magnetic resonance(^(29)Si-NMR)were tested to analyze the hydration degree of the system;mechanical properties in cement-FVS system were evaluated by compressive strength test,pore structure and the fractal *** revealed that the incorporation of FVS could greatly promote the CSR of cement-FVS *** with the control groups,30%dosage of FVS could increase the CSR by 69%at 3 d,47%at 7d,36%at 28 d and 34%at 60 *** was demonstrated that the incorporation of FVS could enhance the chemical solidifying ability of chloride,and the main reason was the promoted generation of Kuzel’s salt and the Friedel’s salt in hydrate products,and the enhanced chloride migration resistance capacity by increasing the volume of gel pores in the cement-FVS *** the influence of FVS on strength performance,this paper suggested that the suitable dosage of FVS as a supplemental cementing material was around 10%.The study in this paper might provide one efficient path to promote the chloride solidifying capacity of cement-based material and meanwhile the comprehensive utilization of FVS.

To improve the efficiency and stability of chloride immobilization of portland cement paste,hydrated calcium aluminate cement(HCAC)prepared by wet grinding of CAC was added into portland cement paste as an *** immobilized chloride ratio(ICR)was evaluated,and the mechanism of chloride immobilization was researched by XRD,DTG,NMR,and MIP *** analysis results demonstrated that HCAC could improve the chloride immobilization capacity of portland cement *** mechanism was attributed to the following aspects:chemical binding capacity was enhanced via producing more Kuzel’s salt;physical adsorption capacity was reduced by decreasing the C-S-H gel;migration resistance was enhanced through refining the pore structure.

采用控制变量法,研究了钢纤维长度与掺量对粉煤灰-矿渣基地质聚合物工作性及力学性能的影响。试验结果表明:钢纤维长度与掺量对地质聚合物的凝结时间影响不大,钢纤维长度及掺量增加,地质聚合物初始流动度下降;钢纤维对地质聚合物的抗压强度、抗折强度、折压比、等效弯曲强度、等效弯曲韧性具有明显的增强作用,且长钢纤维优于短钢纤维。

DNAzyme-based gene therapy faces some challenges including cell penetration,activity limitation,and co-delivery ***-assembled DNA nanomedicine has attracted widespread attention due to its many *** is urgent to develop a universal DNA degradation strategy for precise programmable drug ***,we reported a self-catabolic DNAzyme nanospheres(SCNS),which could simultaneously achieve cell penetration,activity enhancement,and co-delivery *** SCNS were assembled through Y-DNA stepwise hybridization with each other,which were then loaded with aptamer(Apt),doxorubicin(Dox),and zinc oxide nanoparticles(ZnO NPs).The acid-triggered dissociation of ZnO NPs leads to the generation of Zn^(2+)ions cofactors for immediately self-catabolic DNAzyme *** the disassembly of the SCNS,three types of anticancer treatments would be activated,which include Zn^(2+)involved reactive oxygen species(ROS),Dox-induced chemotherapy,and DNAzyme-based gene *** experimental results show that the nanoplatform(Apt-SCNS-Dox-ZnO)has a good tumor-killing effect and minimal side *** a smart self-driven drug delivery nanoplatform,it is anticipated to displace extraordinary potential in biomedicine and bioengineering.

The influences of nano silica (NS) on the hydration and microstructure development of steam cured cement high volume fly ash (40 wt%, CHVFA) system were investigated. The compressive strength of mortars was tested with different NS dosage from 0 to 4%. Results show that the compressive strength is dramatically improved with the increase of NS content up to 3%, and decreases with further increase of NS content (e g, at 4%). Then X?ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry-thermogravimetry (DSCTG), scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy disperse spectroscopy (EDS), mercury intrusion porosimeter (MIP) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) were used to analyze the mechanism. The results reveal that the addition of NS accelerates the hydration of cement and fly ash, decreases the porosity and the content of calcium hydroxide (CH) and increases the polymerization degree of C-S-H thus enhancing the compressive strength of mortars. The interfacial transition zone (ITZ) of CHVFA mortars is also significantly improved by the addition ofNS, embodying in the decrease of Ca/Si ratio and CH enrichment of ITZ.

Residence time is an important indicator for river environmental *** this paper,a 3D hydrodynamic model has been successfully applied to Little Manatee River to characterize the mixing and transport process and residence *** model employs horizontal curvilinear orthogonal grids to represent the complex river system that consists of branches and *** model has been satisfactorily calibrated and verified by using two continuous data *** data sets consist of hourly observations of all forcing boundaries,including freshwater inputs,tides,winds,salinity and temperatures at bay boundary,and air temperatures for model *** data sets also consist of hourly observations of water levels,salinity,and temperature at several river *** calibrated and verified hydrodynamic model was used to predict residence time in the Little Manatee *** the minimum flow of 0.312 m3/s,the pulse residence time(PRT) is 108 *** simulations were also conducted for 17 flow *** regression equations have been satisfactorily derived to correlate PRT to freshwater *** coefficient R2 is 0.982 for PRT.
