Riverine sulfate sources and behaviors in arid environment,Northwest China:Constraints from sulfur and oxygen isotopes

The fate of riverine sulfate ion (SO_(4)^(2-)) and its environmental effects in arid environment are difficult to evaluate due to its complicated sources and strongly coupled behaviors with water cycle which is significantly modified by *** understand the sulfur cycle in aquatic systems in arid environment,the chemical and sulfur and oxygen isotopic compositions (δ^(34)S_(SO4)and δ^(18)O_(SO4)) of major rivers around the Badain Jaran Desert,northwestern China,were *** rivers had averaged SO_(4)^(2-)content at 1336μmol/L,over 10times higher than the global *** δ^(34)S_(SO4)and δ^(18)O_(SO4)values ranged from-5.3‰to+11.8‰and+1.6‰to+12.8‰,*** end-member analysis and the inverse model showed that riverine sulfate was mainly derived from evaporites dissolution (0-87%),sulfide oxidation (13%-100%) and precipitation (0-33%),indicating heterogeneity in sulfur sources and behaviors along the river drainage with the lithology variations and climate *** isotopic tools combining with hydro-chemistry compositions could be applied to reveal sulfur cycle in arid *** on the calculation,sulfide oxidation plays the primary role in the headwater and upstream in the Qilian-Mountains area,where sulfide is widely *** the proportion of evaporites dissolution contributing to riverine sulfate is much higher in downstream in a drier ***,less precipitation and higher temperature can lead to more intensive evaporation,affecting the process of sulfide oxidation and enhancing the rates of evaporites dissolution and sulfate precipitation in the basin.

Inherited retinal dystrophies (IRDs) are major causes of visual impairment and irreversible blindness worldwide, while the precise molecular and genetic mechanisms are still elusive. N6-methyladenosine (m^(6)A) modification is the most prevalent internal modification in eukaryotic mRNA. YTH domain containing 2 (YTHDC2), an m^(6)A reader protein, has recently been identified as a key player in germline development and human cancer. However, its contribution to retinal function remains unknown. Here, we explore the role of YTHDC2 in the visual function of retinal rod photoreceptors by generating rod-specific Ythdc2 knockout mice. Results show that Ythdc2 deficiency in rods causes diminished scotopic ERG responses and progressive retinal degeneration. Multi-omics analysis further identifies Ppef2 and Pde6b as the potential targets of YTHDC2 in the retina. Specifically, via its YTH domain, YTHDC2 recognizes and binds m^(6)A-modified Ppef2 mRNA at the coding sequence and Pde6b mRNA at the 5′-UTR, resulting in enhanced translation efficiency without affecting mRNA levels. Compromised translation efficiency of Ppef2 and Pde6b after YTHDC2 depletion ultimately leads to decreased protein levels in the retina, impaired retinal function, and progressive rod death. Collectively, our finding highlights the importance of YTHDC2 in visual function and photoreceptor survival, which provides an unreported elucidation of IRD pathogenesis via epitranscriptomics.

The endoplasmic reticulum(ER)membrane protein complex(EMC)is responsible for monitoring the biogenesis and synthetic quality of membrane proteins with tail-anchored or multiple transmembrane *** EMC subunit EMC6 is one of the core members of EMC and forms an enclosed hydrophilic vestibule in cooperation with *** studies demonstrating that deletion of EMC3 led to rhodopsin mislocalization in rod photoreceptors of mice,the precise mechanism leading to the failure of rhodopsin trafficking remains ***,we generated the first rod photoreceptor-specific knockout of Emc6(RKO)and cone photoreceptor-specific knockout of Emc6(CKO)mouse *** of Emc6 in rod photoreceptors led to progressive shortening of outer segments(OS),impaired visual function,mislocalization and reduced expression of rhodopsin,and increased gliosis in rod *** addition,CKO mice displayed the progressive death of cone photoreceptors and abnormal localization of cone opsin ***,proteomics analysis of the RKO mouse retina illustrated that several cilium-related proteins,particularly anoctamin-2(ANO2)and transmembrane protein 67(TMEM67),were significantly down-regulated prior to OS *** rod photoreceptor cilia and mislocalized membrane disc proteins were evident in RKO *** data revealed that in addition to monitoring the synthesis of rhodopsin-dominated membrane disc proteins,EMC6 also impacted rod photoreceptors'ciliogenesis by regulating the synthesis of membrane proteins associated with cilia,contributing to the mislocalization of membrane disc proteins.

Attributing to the rapid demand expansion for the edible medicinal materials in the market,the limited throughput of highperformance liquid chromatography-multiple reaction monitoring(HPLC-MRM)cannot fully address the measurement workload for a huge number of testing ***,it is urgent to pursue more efficient approaches for the quality *** of the greater selectivity of MRM cubed(MRM^(3))over MRM,there might be a chance to omit the time-intensive LC *** current study,we attempted to develop a direct infusion(DI)-MRM^(3) program,and the applicability was thereafter assessed through simultaneous determination of four ganoderic acids(GAs)in one of the most famous tonic herbal medicines namely Ganoderma(Chinese name:Lingzhi).Primary parameters such as Q1>Q3>QLIT ion transitions,collision energy(CE),and excitation energy were optimized by programming online energy-resolved mass spectrometry with authentic compounds.A single DI-MRM measurement merely costed four minutes,and in spite of the wide occurrences of isomers,satisfactory selectivity was *** validation assays demonstrated the method to be sensitive,precise,accurate,and *** quantitative results from DI-MRM^(3) were also justified by conducting LC-MRM measurements in *** differences occurred for the content patterns between the two original sources namely Ganoderma lucidum and ***,and,moreover,either cultivar or harvest time showed dramatical influence on the quantitative features of the four targeted *** importantly,DI-MRM3 is a meaningful analytical option for rapid quantitative analysis of herbal medicines,because of the comparable reliability,nonetheless,less consumptions of both measurement time and solvent,compared with LC-MRM.

Hetero-phase zirconia encapsulated with Au nanoparticles for boosting electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction

Electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)is considered as an attractive approach for ammonia synthesis under mild conditions.A bottleneck of NRR is the exploration of efficient catalysts for accelerating reaction kinetics,among which heterogeneous structures possessing distinct atomic arrangement could modify electronic structure,and therefore altering their NRR ***,we report a facile strategy for fabricating hetero-phase metal oxides derived from metal organic framework that are further integrated with Au nanoparticles as NRR *** phase composition of zirconia can be easily adjusted by simply changing the reaction temperature,where the monoclinic and tetragonal phases with the roughly close proportions have a distinct interface,leading to a strong interaction between Au and ZrO_(2).The enhanced interaction renders Au to be more electropositive and facilitates stronger binding to N_(2).As a result,a remarkable ammonia yield of 22.32μg h^(-1)mg_(cat.)^(-1) and a Faradaic efficiency of 31.92%can be achieved at low *** work is expected to pave the way for the design of heterogeneous structures and the exploration of hetero-phase nanostructures in boosting the electrocatalytic NRR.

Coupling Au with BO_(x) matrix induced by Closo-boron cluster for electrochemical synthesis of ammonia

Au is considered as one of the most promising catalysts for nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR),however maximizing the activity utilization rate of Au and understanding the synergistic effects between Au and carriers pose ongoing ***,we systematically explore the synergistic catalytic effect of incorporating Au with boron clusters for accelerating NRR *** in-situ abinitio strategy is employed to construct B-doped Au nanoparticles(2-6 nm in diameter)loaded on BO_(x) substrates(AuBO_(x)),in which B not only modulates the surface electronic structure of Au but also forms strong coupling interactions to stabilize the *** electrochemical results show that Au-BO_(x) possesses excellent NRR activity(NH_(3) yield of 48.52μg h^(-1)mg_(cat)^(-1),Faraday efficiency of 56.18%),and exhibits high stability and reproducibility throughout the electrocatalytic NRR *** calculations reveal that the introduction of B induces the formation of both Au dangling bond and Au-B coupling *** considerably facilitates the hydrogenation of~*N_(2)^(-)~*NH_(3).The present work provides a new avenue for the preparation of metal-boron materials achieved by one-step reduction and doping process,utilizing boron clusters as reducing and stabilizing agents.

目的:分析我国慢性病防治干预措施的实施性研究现状,探讨影响慢性病干预措施实施的因素,为改善干预方案、提升干预措施的实施效率提供参考。方法:检索中国知网、万方和PubMed数据库,利用EndNote软件进行文献筛选。对纳入的慢性病防治干预措施实施性研究进行文献计量分析,主要关注发表年份、地区分布、干预措施和影响因素。结果:慢性病防治干预措施的实施性研究逐渐增多。慢性病一、二、三级预防相关干预措施的实施性研究分别占比为30.00%、34.44%、35.56%,研究类别均衡分布。影响慢性病防治干预措施实施的因素从供需两方面共归纳出8个一级因素。供方层面包括服务水平、政策保障、经费投入和媒体宣传,相关报道文献数分别为34篇、8篇、6篇和5篇。需方层面包括知信行因素、个人因素、医疗保险和心理因素,相关报道文献数分别为50篇、49篇、12篇和6篇。结论:需方层面的知信行因素和个人因素是影响我国慢性病干预措施实施的重要因素。近年来,慢性病防治干预措施的实施性研究逐渐增多,但需要加强对农村地区的关注。宣传教育是推动慢性病干预实施进展的重要手段,可利用个人-家庭-社会三位一体的模式开展宣传教育工作。

农田土壤重金属污染对食品安全和人体健康构成巨大的威胁。重金属主要通过经口摄入土壤、吸入土壤颗粒、皮肤接触和食物链摄取等暴露途径进入人体,其中经口摄入重金属污染土壤和农产品是主要的暴露途径。人体健康风险评估在农田土壤质量分类和风险管控中起着重要作用。因此,梳理了中国农田土壤重金属污染的人体健康风险评估的发展状况,介绍了人体健康风险评估的基本流程和评估技术,论述了影响人体健康风险评价准确性的主要因素及优化措施。在农田土壤重金属健康风险评估中,应加强耦合污染源识别技术、重视食物消费暴露途径、精准识别不同敏感受体、本土化敏感受体的暴露参数、纳入重金属的生物可给性,同时提高农田土壤重金属健康风险评估的准确性。未来可从加强应对健康风险评估过程不确定性的技术方法、考虑各种饮食的暴露途径和建立本土化的重金属毒性标准数据等多方面深化农田土壤重金属健康风险评估,以期推动中国农田土壤重金属人体健康风险评估的理论和技术发展。

针对工业设备故障诊断知识图谱故障实体属性残缺、故障关系链接缺失的问题,本文提出了一种基于知识图谱异构图注意力网络(knowledge graph heterogeneous graph attention network, KGHAN)模型的工业设备故障诊断知识图谱补全方法,通过对故障实体概念补全和故障关系链接补全完善了工业设备故障诊断知识图谱.所提KGHAN模型在异构图注意力网络模型的基础上,融合了故障知识结构信息和故障图结构信息,有效地表征了故障实体和故障关系的嵌入表示,提高了故障实体概念补全任务的准确率和故障关系链接补全任务的命中率.将所提工业设备故障诊断知识图谱补全方法应用在国内某企业的工业设备故障运维数据上,结果表明,故障实体概念补全任务的准确率提高了约10%,故障关系链接补全任务的命中率提高了约37%,验证了方法的有效性.
