Barley Protein LFBEP-C1 from Lactiplantibacillus plantarum dy-1 Fermented Barley Extracts by Inhibiting Lipid Accumulation in a Caenorhabditis elegans Model

Objective This study aimed to investigate the lipid-lowering activity of LFBEP-C1 in high glucose-fed Caenorhabditis elegans(***).Methods In this study,the fermented barley protein LFBEP-C1 was prepared and tested for its potential anti-obesity effects on *** worms were fed Escherichia coli OP50(*** OP50),glucose,and different concentrations of *** size,lifespan,movement,triglyceride content,and gene expression were *** results were analyzed using ANOVA and Tukey's multiple comparison *** Compared with the model group,the head-swing frequency of *** in the group of LFBEP-C1 at 20μg/mL increased by 33.88%,and the body-bending frequency increased by 27.09%.This indicated that LFBEP-C1 improved the locomotive ability of *** average lifespan of *** reached 13.55 days,and the body length and width of the *** decreased after LFBEP-C1 ***,LFBEP-C1 reduced the content of lipid accumulation and triglyceride *** expression levels of sbp-1,daf-2,and mdt-15 significantly decreased,while those of daf-16,tph-1,mod-1,and ser-4 significantly increased after LFBEP-C1 *** in these genes explain the signaling pathways that regulate lipid *** LFBEP-C1 significantly reduced lipid deposition in *** fed a high-glucose diet and alleviated the adverse effects of a high-glucose diet on the development,lifespan,and exercise behavior of *** addition,LFBEP-C1 regulated lipid metabolism mainly by mediating the expression of genes in the sterol regulatory element-binding protein,insulin,and 5-hydroxytryptamine signaling pathways.

Efficacy Evaluation for the Treatment of Subcapital Femoral Neck Fracture in Young Adults by Capsulotomy Reduction and Closed Reduction

Background：Subcapital femoral neck fracture in young adults has many complications,and the incidence is increasing *** selection of the proper operation method to avoid them is an ambiguous *** study aimed to evaluate the treatment effect of subcapital femoral neck fracture by the capsulotomy and internal fixation with iliac bone grafting or closed reduction and intemal fixation in young ***：From March 2003 to February 2010,65 young patients with subcapital femoral neck fractures were treated,including 39 males and 26 females with average age of 34.5 years （range,19-50 years）; 29 cases of the left side and 36 cases of the right *** were randomly divided into Group A with 34 cases treated by closed reduction and internal fixation and Group B with 31 cases treated by the capsulotomy and internal fixation with iliac bone *** two groups had no significant differences in sex,age,body mass index and preoperative Harris Hip *** observation criteria involved the length of the incision,blood loss,operation time,nonunion rate,avascular necrosis of the femoral head （ANFH） rate and Harris Hip ***：Four of 65 patients were lost follow-up,and the follow-up rate was 93.8％,the average follow-up time was 38.7 months （range,33-47 months）.In Group A,the incision length was 5.1 ± 2.2 cm,blood loss was 84.0 ± 13.2 ml,and operation time was 52.9 ± 10.2 *** Group B,the incision length was 15.4 ± 4.6 cm,blood loss was 396.0 ± 21.3 ml,and operation time was 1 16.5 ± 15.3 *** occurred in 8 patients （25.2％） in Group A and 1 patient （3.3％） in Group *** occurred in 9 patients （29.1％） in Group A and 2 patients （6.7％） in Group *** Harris Hip Score was 89.0 ± 5.6 in Group A and 95.0 ± 4.5 in Group *** above index of two groups was considered statistically significant （P ＜ 0.05）.Conclusions：Capsulotomy and internal fixation with iliac bone grafting can improve fracture healing,reduce ANFH in young *** i

基于河流着生藻类与水质监测数据,采用着生藻类生物完整性指数法(P-IBI)开展章江健康状态评价,为河流生态系统恢复与水生态修复提供科学依据。通过对28个候选生物参数的分布范围、判别能力和Pearson相关性分析,筛选出由蓝藻属总数、蓝藻分类单元相对多度、可运动硅藻百分比3个核心指数组成的章江P-IBI指标体系,并根据其参照点的25%分位数值,确定章江流域河流健康评价标准。结果表明,章江流域P-IBI平均得分为1.91,河流健康状态为一般状态。9个采样点中,2个处于健康状态,2个良好状态,2个一般状态,3个较差状态;相关性分析表明,P-IBI与高锰酸钾指数(COD_(Mn))、五日生化需氧量(BOD_(5))、总磷(TP)、氨氮(NH_(4)^(+))、氧化还原电位(ORP)等水环境指标呈现显著负相关。从空间尺度看,河流健康状态从上游区到下游区呈现逐渐变差的趋势,这与河流沿线城市和产业发展状况密切相关。着生藻类生物完整性指数的河流健康评价结果与实际状况基本吻合,说明采用P-IBI法可以较好地反映河流健康状况。

目的探讨不同体重指数(BMI)分级的初诊2型糖尿病(T2DM)患者胰岛素抵抗(HOMA-IR)水平与糖化白蛋白(GA)、糖化血红蛋白(HbA1c)、GA/HbA1c的关系。方法选取120例初诊T2DM患者,根据BMI将其分为正常组(BMI28 kg·m^(-2),n=40)。比较3组一般生化指标、GA、HbA1c、GA/HbA1c、HOMA-IR水平;BMI分级与GA、HbA1c、GA/HbA1c、HOMA-IR的关系,3组HOMA-IR与GA、HbA1c、GA/HbA1c的关系均采用Spearman秩相关分析。结果3组空腹胰岛素(Fins)、HOMA-IR、HbA1c、GA、GA/HbA1c水平比较差异有统计学意义(P0.05),超重组与肥胖组均高于正常组(P0.05)。结论初诊T2DM患者可以采用GA、GA/HbA1c评估患者血糖情况,且诊疗过程中应考虑BMI对血糖的影响,尤其是肥胖体质患者。

Atmospheric chemistry of 2-nitrobenzaldehyde:Initiated by photo-excitation,OH-oxidation,and small TiO_(2) clusters adsorption catalysis

The fate of 2-nitrobenzaldehyde(2-NBA)is of interest in atmospheric chemistry as it is a semi-volatile organic compound with high *** study presents a quantum chemical study of the gas-phase reactions of 2-NBA photo-excitation and OH-oxidation in the absence and presence of small TiO_(2) *** further understand the unknown photolysis mechanism,the photo-reaction pathways of ground singlet state and the lying excited triplet state of 2-NBA were investigated including the initial and subsequent reactions of proton transfer,direct CO,NO_(2),and HCO elimination routes in the presence of O_(2) and ***,the OH-mediated degradation of 2-NBA proceeded via five H-extraction and six OH-addition channels by indirect mechanism,which follows a succession of reaction steps initiated by the formation of weakly stable intermediate *** H-extraction from the-CHO group was the dominant pathway with a negative activation energy of-1.22 kcal/*** calculated rate coefficients at 200–600 K were close to the experimental data in literature within 308-352 K,and the kinetic negative temperature independence was found in both experimental literature and computational ***,2-NBA was favored to be captured onto small TiO_(2) clusters via six adsorption configurations formed via various combination of three types of bonds of Ti…O,Ti…C,and O…H between the molecularly adsorbed 2-NBA and TiO_(2) *** indicted that the chemisorptions of aldehyde oxygen have largest *** results suggested adsorption conformations have a respectable impact on the catalysis *** study is significant for understanding the atmospheric chemistry of 2-nitrobenzaldehyde.

基于GC-MS分析不同资源姜黄挥发油成分及含量差异

为比较不同资源姜黄挥发油成分的异同,采用水蒸气蒸馏法提取24批姜黄样品挥发油,采用气相色谱-质谱联用技术(GC-MS)分离鉴定各色谱峰的化学成分;采用聚类分析(HCA)、主成分分析(PCA)和正交偏最小二乘法-判别分析(OPLS-DA)对24批挥发油... 详细信息

为比较不同资源姜黄挥发油成分的异同,采用水蒸气蒸馏法提取24批姜黄样品挥发油,采用气相色谱-质谱联用技术(GC-MS)分离鉴定各色谱峰的化学成分;采用聚类分析(HCA)、主成分分析(PCA)和正交偏最小二乘法-判别分析(OPLS-DA)对24批挥发油成分进行组学分析和差异代谢物筛选。结果表明,24批姜黄挥发油提取得率为0.30%~1.10%,从中共检测出63种成分,主要为姜黄酮类成分,相对含量在50%以上,其次为萜烯类物质,含量低且组成复杂。建立姜黄挥发油GC-MS指纹图谱,相似度在0.911~0.997之间,从中确认7个共有峰。HCA和PCA将其中21个样品分为A组和B组,OPLS-DA筛选出19个差异代谢物,聚类热图分析显示A组的特征性成分为姜黄酮类物质芳姜黄酮、α-姜黄酮和β-姜黄酮,B组为姜烯、β-红没药烯和β-倍半水芹烯等16种萜烯类成分。结果表明,不同产地来源的姜黄挥发油存在一定的质量差异,姜黄酮的含量与姜黄切面的颜色直接相关,含量越高,姜黄颜色越深。该研究通过对比24批不同来源的姜黄挥发油成分及其差异物质,为今后姜黄种质资源鉴定和质量评价提供了科学依据,筛选出6种挥发油和姜黄酮类成分含量均较高的优异种质,可用于指导姜黄新品种选育。

Predictability of the upper ocean heat content in a Community Earth System Model ensemble prediction system

Upper ocean heat content(OHC)has been widely recognized as a crucial precursor to high-impact climate variability,especially for that being indispensable to the long-term memory of the *** the predictability of OHC using state-of-the-art climate models is invaluable for improving and advancing climate *** developed retrospective forecast experiments,based on a Community Earth System Model ensemble prediction system,offer a great opportunity to comprehensively explore OHC *** results indicate that the skill of actual OHC predictions varies across different oceans and diminishes as the lead time of prediction *** spatial distribution of the actual prediction skill closely resembles the corresponding persistence skill,indicating that the persistence of OHC serves as the primary predictive signal for its *** decline in actual prediction skill is more pronounced in the Indian and Atlantic oceans than in the Pacific Ocean,particularly within tropical ***,notable seasonal variations in the actual prediction skills across different oceans align well with the phase-locking features of OHC *** potential predictability of OHC generally surpasses the actual prediction skill at all lead times,highlighting significant room for improvement in current OHC predictions,especially for the North Indian Ocean and the Atlantic *** such improvements necessitates a collaborative effort to enhance the quality of ocean observations,develop effective data assimilation methods,and reduce model bias.

Optimizing FeCoNiCrTi high-entropy alloy with hydrogen pumping effect to boost de/hydrogenation performance of magnesium hydride

The exploration of efficient,long-lived and cost-effective transition metal catalysts is highly desirable for the practical hydrogen storage of magnesium hydride(MgH_(2)) in sustainable energy ***,FeCoNiCrTi high-entropy alloy(HEA) nanosheets were prepared via a facile wet chemical ball milling strategy and they were introduced into MgH_(2) to boost the hydrogen storage *** refined HEA exhibited superior catalytic activity on MgH_(2).In contrast to additive-free MgH_(2),the initial desorption temperature of the constructed MgH_(2)-HEA composite was reduced from 330.0 to 198.5℃ and a remarkable 51% reduction in the dehydrogenation activation energy was ***,the MgH_(2)-HEA composite only required one-twentieth time of that consumed by pure MgH_(2) to absorb 5.0 wt% of H_(2) at 225℃.The synergy between the "hydrogen pumping" effect of Mg_2Ni/Mg_2NiH_4 and Mg_2Co/Mg_2CoH_5 couples,as well as the good dispersion of Fe,Cr and Ti on the surface of MgH_(2) contributed to the enhanced de/hydrogenation performance of the MgH_(2)-HEA *** study furnishes important steering for the design and fabrication of multiple transition metal catalysts and may push the commercial application of magnesium-based hydrides one step forward.
