Cold acclimation is associated with many metabolic changes that lead to an increase of freezing tolerance. In order to investigate the biochemical process of cold acclimation in Ammopiptanthus mongolicus, seedlings were acclimated at 2℃ under 16-h photoperiod （150 μmol·m^-2·s^-1 photosynthetically active radiation） for 14 d. Freezing tolerance in seedlings increased after 14 d of cold-hardening. Contents of protein, proline and solute carbohydrate in cotyledon increased after cold acclimation. Patterns of isozymes of superoxide dismutase （SOD）, peroxidase, catalase and polyphenol oxidase （PPO） were investigated. The activities of SOD, peroxidase and PPO in cold acclimated plants were increased during cold-hardening. We deduced that compatible solutes and antioxidant enzymes play important roles in development of freezing tolerance during cold acclimation in this evergreen woody plant.

This paper considers a special class of operator self-similar processes Markov processes {X（t）, t≥0} with independent self-similar components, that is, X （ t ） =（X^1（t）,…,X^d（t））, where {X^i（t）,t≥0}, i=1,2,…,d are d independent real valued self-similar Markov processes. By means of Brel-Cantelli lemma, we give two results about asymptotic property as t→∞ of sample paths for two special classes of Markov processes with independent self-similar components.

Chloroform and other volatile organic pollutants have garnered widespread attention from the public and researchers,because of their potential harm to the respiratory system,nervous system,skin,and ***,research on chloroform vapor sensing is still in its early stages,primarily due to the lack of specific recognition *** we report a mesoporous photonic crystal sensor incorporating carbon dots-based nanoreceptor(HMSS@CDs-PCs)for enhanced chloroform *** colloidal PC packed with hollow mesoporous silica spheres provides an interconnected ordered macro-meso-hierarchical porous structure,ideal for rapid gas sensing utilizing the photonic bandgap shift as the readout *** as-synthesized CDs with pyridinic-N-oxide functional groups adsorbed in the hollow mesoporous silica spheres are found to not only serve as the chloroform adsorption sites,but also a molecular glue that prevents crack formation in the colloidal *** sensitivity of HMSS@CDs-PCs sensor is 0.79 nm ppm^(-1)and an impressively low limit of detection is 3.22 ppm,which are the best reported values in fast-response chloroform vapor sensor without multi-signal *** positive response time is 7.5 s and the negative response time 9 ***,relatively stable sensing can be maintained within a relative humidity of 20%-85%RH and temperature of 25-55℃.This study demonstrates that HMSS@CDs-PCs sensors have practical application potential in indoor and outdoor chloroform vapor detection.

Convertible hydrogel supercapacitors have emerged as promising energy storage devices in switches,diodes,and ***,inherent weaknesses in ionic conductivity,mechanical properties,and water retention of hydrogel electrolytes seriously hinder their *** by the hardness conversion of sea cucumber skin,a conductivity and mechanics dual-tunable salt gel electrolyte is successfully *** salt gel presents a reversible switching of conductors-insulators and a mechanical regulation between softness and hardness via the dissolution-crystallization transition of sodium acetate trihydrate(SAT).Meanwhile,the salt gels spontaneously grow a layer of“armor”through saturated phase-change salt crystals effectively reducing water evaporation of hydrogel ***,this phase-change soft-rigid conversion strategy will expand the capabilities of gel-based flexible supercapacitors(area capacitance:258.6 mF cm^(-2)),and the capacitance retention rate could still reach 86.9%after 3000 cycles at high ***,the salt gel supercapacitor is potentially used in over-heat alarm *** is anticipated that the strategy of conductivity and mechanics of dual-tunable salt gel would provide a new perspective on the development of energy storage devices,wearable electronics,and flexible robots.

Glacier dynamics in the Himalayan midlatitudes,particularly in regions like the Shishapangma,are not yet fully understood,especially the localized topographic and climatic impacts on glacier *** study analyzes the spatiotemporal characteristics of glacier surface deformation in the Shishapangma region using the Small Baseline Subset(SBAS)Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar(In SAR)*** analysis reveals an average deformation rate of-4.02±17.65 mm/yr across the entire study area,with glacier regions exhibiting significantly higher rates of uplift(16.87±13.20 mm/yr)and subsidence(20.11±14.55 mm/yr)compared to non-glacier *** identifies significant surface lowering on the mountain flanks and localized uplift in certain catchments,emphasizing the higher deformation rates in glacial areas compared to non-glacial *** found a strong positive correlation between temperature and cumulative deformation(correlation coefficient of 0.63),particularly in glacier areas(0.82).The research highlights the role of temperature as the primary driver of glacier wastage,particularly at lower elevations,with strong correlations found between temperature and cumulative *** also indicates the complex interactions between topographic features,notably,slope gradient,which shows a positive correlation with subsidence rates,especially for slopes below 35°.South-,southwest-,and west-facing slopes exhibit significant uplift,while north-,northeast-,and east-facing slopes predominantly ***,we identified transition zones between debris-covered glaciers and clean ice as areas of most intense deformation,with average rates exceeding 30 mm/yr,highlighting these as potential high-risk zones for *** study comprehensively analyzes the deformation characteristics in both glacier and non-glacier areas in the Shishapangma region,revealing the complex interplay of topographic,climatic,and hydrological factors influencing glacier dynamic

In this study,we investigate the critical phenomena of Kerr-AdS black holes under the modified first law of ***,we considered modified black hole thermodynamics that exhibit a van der Waalslike phase *** critical exponents were calculated,and then,a swallowtail diagram of free energy was *** with existing results,the main difference is the correspondence between the thermal quantities of Kerr-AdS black holes and the van der Waals *** a previous study[***,***,and ***,***.D 85044005(2012)],the correspondence was(Ω_(H),J)→(V,P),while in our study,the correspondence was(J,Ω_(H))→(V,P).This difference was owing to the rotating *** modified black hole thermodynamics were associated with rotating *** free energy in such a reference contains extra rotating energy,which induces a Legendre transformation in the(Ω_(H),J)cross-section,causing the difference in correspondence.

Developing a bridge capping layer between perovskite and hole transport layer materials(HTMs)in the n-i-p perovskite solar cells(pero-SCs)is an effective approach to modify the morphology of HTMs and passivate the perovskite ***,we select the quinoxaline-based bifunctional passivation agent,quinoxalin-6-yl-methylamine hydrochloride(Qx MACl),as the bridging layer,and a D-A copolymer PBQ12 containing the same quinoxaline unit as an HTM for the n-i-p *** to theπ-πstacking among the common quinoxaline units in the bridge layer and HTM,Qx MACl induces theπ-πstacking of the PBQ12 film and improves the film morphology of HTMs with better ***,Qx MACl can effectively passivate the perovskite surface,and PBQ12 possesses appropriate energy levels and high hole *** pero-SCs based on FAPbI_(3)with PBQ12/Qx MACl treatment showed a higher power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 24.05%and outstanding stability,maintaining 95.4%and 92.1%of its initial PCE after 750 h of storage and after over 800 h of thermal annealing at 85℃,*** further enhance the PCE of the PBQ12/Qx MACl-based devices,we developed a non-metal ion dopant for the PBQ12 *** trace doping of PBQ12 HTM by the non-metal ion dopant,the PCE of the PBQ12/Qx MACl-based devices reached 25.24%(the calibrated PCE of 24.55%by the National Institute of Metrology,China).

The behaviors of unsteady flow structures and corresponding hydrodynamics for a pitching hydrofoil are investigated numerically and theoretically in the present *** aims are to derive the total lift by finite-domain impulse theory for subcavitating flow(σ=8.0)and cavitating flow(σ=3.0),and to quantify the distinct impact of individual vortex structures on the transient lift to appreciate the interplay among cavitation,flow structures,and vortex *** motion of the hydrofoil is set to pitch up clockwise with an almost constant rate from 0°to 15°and then back to 0°,for the Reynolds number,7.5×105,and the frequency,0.2 Hz,*** results reveal that the presence of cavities delays the migration of the laminar separation bubble(LSB)from the trailing edge(TE)to the leading edge(LE),consequently postponing the hysteresis in the inflection of lift *** eventual stall under the sub-cavitation regime is the result of LSB *** the instabilities within the leading-edge LSB induce the convection of cavitation-dominated vortices under the cavitation regime *** validated the lift coefficients on the hydrofoil through the finite-domain impulse theory using the standard force expression,the Lamb vector integral emerges as the main contribution to the generation of unsteady ***,the typical vortices’contributions to the transient lift during dynamic stall are accurately *** analysis indicates that the clockwise leading-edge vortex(−LEV)contributes positively,while the counterclockwise trailing-edge vortex(+TEV)contributes *** negative influence becomes particularly pronounced after reaching the peak of total lift,as the shedding of the concentrated wake vortex precipitates a sharp decline due to a predominant negative lift contribution from the TEV ***,the vortices’contribution is relatively modest in sub-cavitating flow,but it is notably more significant in the context of incipient ca
