Hierarchical polypyrrole@cobalt sulfide-based flexible on-chip microsupercapacitors with ultrahigh energy density for selfcharging system

Herein,we prepare the unique hierarchical polypyrrole@cobalt sulfide(PPy-hs@CoS)hollow sphere-based nanofilms as interdigitated electrodes for flexible on-chip micro-supercapacitors(MSC).Benefiting from the excellent flexibility and high electrical conductivity of PPy-hs combined with the great electrochemical activity of CoS,such PPy-hs@CoS composite material can not only inhibit the volume expansion of PPy but also promote the diffusion of the electrolyte *** PPy-hs@CoS filmbased electrode delivers a greatly improved specific capacitance and small *** functional theory calculations infer that OH−prefers to bind to PPy on CoS@PPy and confirms the synergistic effect of each component for enhanced reaction kinetics.A quasi-solid-state on-chip flexible asymmetric MSC based on PPy-hs@CoS and activated carbon(AC)microelectrodes exhibits large areal-specific capacitance(131.9 mF/cm2 at 0.3 mA/cm2),ultrahigh energy density(0.041 mWh/cm2@0.224 mW/cm2 and 25.6 mWh/cm3@140.6 mW/cm3),and long cycle *** demonstrate the possibility to scale up the PPy-hs@CoS nanofilm microelectrode by arranging two of our asymmetric MSC in series and parallel connections,which respectively increase the output voltage and current.A self-charging system by connecting our asymmetric MSCs with a piece of commercial solar cells is developed as a potential possible mode for future highly durable and high-voltage integrated electronics.

Facile construction of Mxene-supported niobium hydride nanoparticles toward reversible hydrogen storage in magnesium borohydride

The facile construction of nanoscale NbH_(x)supported by Ti_(3)C_(2)(NbH_(x)@Ti_(3)C_(2))was achieved using facile ball milling strategy to improve the hydrogen desorption kinetics and reversibility of magnesium borohydride(Mg(BH_(4))_(2)).The doping of 30 wt%NbH_(x)@Ti_(3)C_(2)catalyst reduced the onset dehydrogenation temperature of Mg(BH_(4))_(2)to 71.2℃.Additionally,the Mg(BH_(4))_(2)+30NbH_(x)@Ti_(3)C_(2)composite achieved remarkable hydrogen release of over 9.2 wt%at a temperature as low as 230℃,indicating unexpected dehydrogenation ***,the reversibility of NbH_(x)@Ti_(3)C_(2)doped Mg(BH_(4))_(2)was retained to more than 4.2 wt%after four cycles,which was increased by 68%compared to that of undoped Mg(BH_(4))_(2).The strong catalysis of NbH_(x)@Ti_(3)C_(2)catalyst could be attributed to the synergistic effect of NbH_(x)and Ti_(3)C_(2)in hydrogen spillover and ***_(x)acted as a"hydrogen pump"for effective hydrogen spillover,while Ti_(3)C_(2)created numerous diffusion channels for hydrogen dissolution and provided the active catalytic site to facilitate the re/dehydrogenation of Mg(BH_(4))_(2).

Boosting lithium storage performance of Si nanoparticles via thin carbon and nitrogen/phosphorus co-doped two-dimensional carbon sheet dual encapsulation

Silicon(Si)is a promising anode candidate for next-generation lithium-ion batteries(liBs),but it suffers from poor electronic conductivity and dramatic volume variation during cycling,which poses a critical challenge for stable battery *** mitigate these issues simultaneously,we propose a"double carbon synergistic encapsulation"strategy,namely thin carbon shell and nitrogen/phosphorus co-doped two-dimensional(2D)carbon sheet dual encapsulate Si nanoparticles(denoted as 2D NPC/C@Si).This double carbon structure can serve as a conductive medium and buffer matrix to accommodate the volume expansion of Si nanoparticles and enable fast electron/ion transport,which promotes the formation of a stable solid electrolyte interphase film during *** structural advantages,the resulting 2 D NPC/C@Si electrode demonstrates a high reversible capacity of592 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.2 A·g^(-1) with 90.5%excellent capacity retention after 100 cycles,outstanding rate capability(148 mAh·g^(-1) at 8 A·g^(-1)),and superior long-term cycling stability(326 mAh·g^(-1) at 1 A·g^(-1) for 500 cycles,86%capacity retention).Our findings elucidate the development of high-performance Si@C composite anodes for advanced LTBs.

A Review of Research on Tropical Air–Sea Interaction, ENSO Dynamics, and ENSO Prediction in China

Remarkable progress has been made in observations,theories,and simulations of the ocean–atmosphere system,laying a solid foundation for the improvement of short-term climate prediction,among which Chinese scientists have made important *** paper reviews Chinese research on tropical air–sea interaction,ENSO dynamics,and ENSO prediction in the past 70 *** of the tropical air–sea interaction mainly focuses on four aspects:characteristics of the tropical Pacific climate system and ENSO;main modes of tropical Indian Ocean SSTs and their interactions with the tropical Pacific;main modes of tropical Atlantic SSTs and inter-basin interactions;and influences of the mid–high-latitude air–sea system on *** of the ENSO dynamics involves seven aspects:fundamental theories of ENSO;diagnosis and simulation of ENSO;the two types of ENSO;mechanisms of ENSO initiation;the interactions between ENSO and other phenomena;external forcings and teleconnections;and climate change and the ENSO *** ENSO prediction part briefly summarizes the dynamical–statistical methods used in ENSO prediction,as well as the operational ENSO prediction systems and their ***,we discuss some of the issues in these areas that are in need of further study.

Aging has a profound impact on the gingiva and significantly increases its susceptibility to periodontitis,a worldwide prevalent inflammatory ***,a systematic characterization and comprehensive understanding of the regulatory mechanism underlying gingival aging is still ***,we systematically dissected the phenotypic characteristics of gingiva during aging in primates and constructed the first single-nucleus transcriptomic landscape of gingival aging,by which a panel of cell type-specific signatures were *** cells were identified as the most affected cell types by aging in the *** analyses pinpointed the crucial role of YAP in epithelial self-renew and homeostasis,which declined during aging in epithelial cells,especially in basal *** decline of YAP activity during aging was confrmed in the human gingival tissues,and downregulation of YAP in human primary gingival keratinocytes recapitulated the major phenotypic defects observed in the aged primate gingiva while overexpression of YAP showed rejuvenation *** work provides an in-depth understanding of gingival aging and serves as a rich resource for developing novel strategies to combat aging-associated gingival diseases,with the ultimate goal of advancing periodontal health and promoting healthy aging.

Purification Technology and Antimicrobial Activity Analysis of Antimicrobial Peptide from Ovotransferrin

Antibacterial peptides mixture purified from Ovotransferrin by pepsin digest was used as the raw material. Peptide sections with good antibacterial activity were determined after bacteriostasis experiments, its molecular weight and amino acid composition were analyzed. The results of experiments indicate that with Sephadex G-50 and distilled water as mobile phase, detection wavelength 220 nm, flow rate 1.5 mL/min, sample density 0.2 g/mL, and volume 0.2 mL are the optimal conditions. Bacteriostasis experiments of the fraction of purified peaks were carried out and the result was： peak 1peak 3peak 2; the molecular weight of peak 1 was about 3015 by high performance liquid chromatography; active peptide possessed positive charges by amino acid analysis, its cationic characteristics are in accordance with the nature of antimicrobial peptides.

Comparison between 4D robust optimization methods for carbon-ion treatment planning

Intensity-modulated particle therapy(IMPT)with carbon ions is comparatively susceptible to various uncertainties caused by breathing motion,including range,setup,and target positioning *** determine relative biological effectiveness-weighted dose(RWD)distributions that are resilient to these uncertainties,the reference phase-based four-dimensional(4D)robust optimization(RP-4DRO)and each phase-based 4D robust optimization(EP-4DRO)method in carbon-ion IMPT treatment planning were evaluated and *** on RWD distributions,4DRO methods were compared with 4D conventional optimization using planning target volume(PTV)margins(PTV-based optimization)to assess the effectiveness of the robust optimization ***-ion IMPT treatment planning was conducted in a cohort of five lung cancer *** results indicated that the EP-4DRO method provided better robustness(P=0.080)and improved plan quality(P=0.225)for the clinical target volume(CTV)in the individual respiratory phase when compared with the PTV-based *** with the PTV-based optimization,the RP-4DRO method ensured the robustness(P=0.022)of the dose distributions in the reference breathing phase,albeit with a slight sacrifice of the target coverage(P=0.450).Both 4DRO methods successfully maintained the doses delivered to the organs at risk(OARs)below tolerable levels,which were lower than the doses in the PTV-based optimization(P<0.05).Furthermore,the RP-4DRO method exhibited significantly superior performance when compared with the EP-4DRO method in enhancing overall OAR sparing in either the individual respiratory phase or reference respiratory phase(P<0.05).In general,both 4DRO methods outperformed the PTV-based optimization in terms of OAR sparing and robustness.

3.0 T proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy of the liver: Quantification of choline

AIM: To investigate the normal hepatic magnetic resonance spectroscopy findings choline/lipid2 (Cho/lip2) associated with age and body mass index (BMI).METHODS: A total of 58 single-voxel proton spectra of the liver were acquired at 3.0 T using the eightchannel phased array abdominal coil as the receiver coil. Consecutive stacks of breath-hold spectra were acquired using the point resolved spectroscopy technique at a short echo time of 30 ms and a repetition time of 1500 ms. The spectra were processed with the SAGE software package. Areas and heights for metabolite resonance were obtained. Student's t test for unpaired data was used for comparisons of shimming, Cho/lip2, and lipid content. RESULTS: There were significant negative correlations between the Cho/lip2 peak height ratios and BMI (r=-0.615) and age (r=-0.398) (all Plip2 peak heights ratio (0.2±0.14 vs 0.05±0.04,t=6.033,Plipid content (0.03±0.08 vs 0.29±0.31, t=-3.309, P=0.004). Compared with the older group, the younger group had better shimming effects (17.1±3.6 Hz vs 22.0±6.8 Hz, t=-2.919, P=0.008); higher Cho/lip2 peak heights ratios (0.03±0.05vs 0.09±0.12,t=2.4, P=0.020); and lower lipid content (0.05±0.11 vs 0.23±0.32,t=-2.337,P=0.031). Compared with the lowcholine peak group, the high-choline peak group had lower lipid content (0.005±0.002 vs 0.13±0.23, t=-3.796,Plipid accumulation could result from the increased fat in the body depending on age and BMI. lipid can mask the resonance signal of choline.
