The theory of uniform design has received increasing interest because of its wide application in the field of computer *** generalized discrete discrepancy is proposed to evaluate the uniformity of the mixed-level factorial *** this paper,the authors give a lower bound of the generalized discrete discrepancy and provide some construction methods of optimal mixed-level uniform designs which can achieve this lower *** methods are all deterministic construction methods which can avoid the complexity of stochastic *** saturated mixed-level uniform designs and supersaturated mixed-level uniform designs can be obtained with these ***,the resulting designs are also χ^(2)-optimal and minimum moment aberration designs.

High-lead solder joints are still playing an indispensable role in military and space ***, in-depth characterization of high-lead solder joints and the underlying degradation mechanisms remain unexplored. This research first performed aging tests on Sn10Pb90 solder joints, the shear strength at room and elevated temperatures gradually reduced, and the resistance increased. Here, a two-layered Ni–Sn intermetallic compound(IMC) structure was identified using transmission electron microscopy(TEM), which could be attributed to the change of Sn content in the solder. Moreover, the internal annealing twin of a Sn particle was discovered,which could be attributed to creeping induced by thermal expansion coefficient(CTE) difference between Sn and *** analysis of partial and whole annealing twins was conducted through high-resolution TEM(HRTEM).Finally, four degradation mechanisms were *** of the IMC layer would result in increased brittleness and resistivity. For particle coarsening, apart from diminishing the ductility and toughness of the solder joint, it would also accelerate the creeping rate by weakening the phase boundary strength. Regarding voids and cracks induced by phase boundary sliding, wedgeshaped cracking and pore-shaped cracking were discovered and their formation was analyzed. Most importantly, the consumption of Sn resulted in a depletion of wettable layer,leading to the formation of Pb streams and isolated IMC islands, also known as the spalling and delamination of IMCs. Pb diffusion followed a spiral path, which was mutually influenced by orientation misfit and concentration gradient. We studied different long-chain ammonium ions intercalated zirconium phosphate α-ZrP, methylamine intercalated ZrP(MAZrP), tetramethylammonium hydroxide intercalated ZrP(TMAH-ZrP), dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide intercalated ZrP(DTAB-ZrP), and stearyl trimethyl ammonium bromide intercalated ZrP(STAB-ZrP) as grease co-additives in combination with isobutylene sulfide(SIB). The grease with co-additives displayed excellent extreme-pressure and anti-wear ***, the combination of the longest chain ammonium ion intercalated zirconium phosphate, STAB-ZrP/SIB, had the best tribological properties. In comparison to α-ZrP, the advantage of STAB-ZrP was that it did not form a large area of the dense physical film like α-ZrP on the worn surface, but rather gave the SIB a chance to contact with the fresh metal surface to generate a chemical film. Therefore, the sub-micron physical film and nanoscale chemical film always exist side by side on the contact surface during the friction process. This intercalated α-ZrP/SIB additive has great potential for use in harsh operating conditions.

Deep oxidation of NO molecules to nitrate species by photocatalysis with virtually no toxic byproduct NO_(2)generation is a challenging *** this study,Ti O_(2)in-situ grows based on NH_(2)-MIL-125(Ti)(NM-125)not only inhibited TiO 2agglomeration,but also contacted more tightly to obtain efficient interfacial effects,thus displaying excellent photocatalytic NO removal activity(68.08%).The formation of Ti O_(2) is directly confirmed by characterizations such as X-ray diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscope(TEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).Meanwhile,UV–vis,photoluminescence,and photoelectrochemical analysis indicate that TiO_(2) formation effectively improves the optical ***,the strong electron interaction and electron transport direction between NM-125 and Ti O_(2) are investigated by density functional theoretical(DFT)***,combined with the results of electron spin resonance(ESR)and in-situ FT-IR test,the intermediate processes of NO adsorption and photocatalytic oxidation reaction are discussed in depth,where the production of reactive oxygen species(ROS)under light is the key factor in the successful degradation of *** with NM-125 which can only produce·OH through photogenerated electrons since the lower valence band position,NMT-2 can directly produce·OH through photogenerated holes,thereby relieving the pressure on photogenerated electrons and producing more *** study will provide reasonable guidance for the modification of NM-125 for photocatalytic removal of ppb-level NO.

The safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines in the elderly,a high-risk group for severe COVID-19 infection,have not been fully *** clarify these issues,this prospective study followed up 157 elderly and 73 young participants for 16 months and compared the safety,immunogenicity,and efficacy of two doses of the inactivated vaccine BBIBP-CorV followed by a booster dose of the recombinant protein vaccine *** results showed that this vaccination protocol was safe and tolerable in the *** administering two doses of the BBIBP-CorV,the positivity rates and titers of neutralizing and anti-RBD antibodies in the elderly were significantly lower than those in the young *** the ZF2001 booster dose,the antibody-positive rates in the elderly were comparable to those in the young;however,the antibody titers remained ***,age,and underlying diseases were independently associated with vaccine immunogenicity in elderly *** pseudovirus neutralization assay showed that,compared with those after receiving two doses of BBIBP-CorV priming,some participants obtained immunological protection against BA.5 and BF.7 after receiving the ZF2001 *** infection symptoms last longer in the infected elderly and pre-infection antibody titers were negatively associated with the severity of post-infection *** antibody levels in the elderly increased significantly after breakthrough infection but were still lower than those in the *** data suggest that multiple booster vaccinations at short intervals to maintain high antibody levels may be an effective strategy for protecting the elderly against COVID-19.

Objective The metabolic reprogramming of acute myeloid leukemia(AML)cells is a compensatory adaptation to meet energy requirements for rapid *** study aimed to examine the synergistic effects of glutamine deprivation and metformin exposure on AML *** SKM-1 cells(an AML cell line)were subjected to glutamine deprivation and/or treatment with metformin or bis-2-(5-phenylacetamido-1,2,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)ethyl sulfide(BPTES,a glutaminase inhibitor)or *** viability was detected by Cell Counting Kit-8(CCK-8)assay,and cell apoptosis and reactive oxygen species(ROS)by flow *** blotting was conducted to examine the levels of apoptotic proteins,including cleaved caspase-3 and poly(ADP-ribose)polymerase(PARP).Moreover,the human long noncoding RNA(lncRNA)microarray was used to analyze gene expression after glutamine deprivation,and results were confirmed with quantitative RT-PCR(qRT-PCR).The expression of metallothionein 2A(MT2A)was suppressed using *** growth and apoptosis were further detected by CCK-8 assay and flow cytometry,respectively,in cells with MT2A *** Glutamine deprivation or treatment with BPTES inhibited cell growth and induced apoptosis in SKM-1 *** lncRNA microarray result showed that the expression of MT family genes was significantly upregulated after glutamine ***2A knockdown increased apoptosis,while proliferation was not affected in SKM-1 *** addition,metformin inhibited cell growth and induced apoptosis in SKM-1 *** glutamine deprivation and metformin enhanced the sensitivity of SKM-1 cells to ***,the combination of glutamine deprivation with metformin exhibited synergistic antileukemia effects on SKM-1 *** Targeting glutamine metabolism in combination with metformin is a promising new therapeutic strategy for AML.
