The global physical and biogeochemical environment has been substantially altered in response to increased atmospheric greenhouse gases from human *** 2.2.,the sea surface temperature(SST)and upper 2.00 m ocean heat content(OHC)reached record *** 0–2.00 m OHC in 2.2. exceeded that of 2.2. by 15±10 ZJ(1 Zetta Joules=102. Joules)(updated IAP/CAS data);9±5 ZJ(NCEI/NOAA data).The Tropical Atlantic Ocean,the Mediterranean Sea,and southern oceans recorded their highest OHC observed since the *** with the onset of a strong El Niño,the global SST reached its record high in 2.2. with an annual mean of~0.2.℃ higher than 2.2. and an astounding>0.3℃ above 2.2. values for the second half of *** density stratification and spatial temperature inhomogeneity indexes reached their highest values in 2.2..

Aims:Surveys and research on the applications of the hepatic venous pressure gradient(HVPG)are important for understanding the current status and future development of this technology in *** article aimed to investigate the status of hepatic venous pressure gradient measurement in china in ***:We investigated the overall status of HVPG technology in china-including hospital distribution,hospital level,annual number of cases,catheters used,average cost,indications,and current challenges by using online *** counting the number and percentages of cases of these results,we hope to clarify the current status of HVPG measurements in ***:According to the survey,85 hospitals in china used HVPG technology in 2.2. distributed across 2. provinces.A total of 4989 HVPG measurements were performed in all of the surveyed hospitals in 2.2.,of which 2.13 cases(56.4%)were measured *** average cost of HVPG measurement was 5646.8±2.2..9 *** the clinical teams who performed the measurements(sometimes multiple per hospital),94.3%(82.87)used the balloon method,and the majority of the teams(72.4%,63/87)used embolectomy ***:This survey clarified the clinical application status of HVPG in china and confirmed that some medical institutions in china have established a foundation for this *** is still necessary to continue promoting and popularizing this technology in the future.

Based on the updates of the Climate Prediction Center and International Research Institute for Climate and Society(CPC/IRI)and the china Multi-Model Ensemble(CMME)El Niño-Southern Oscillation(ENSO)Outlook issued in April 2.2.,La Niña is favored to continue through the boreal summer and fall,indicating a high possibility of a three-year La Niña(2.2.-2.).It would be the first three-year La Niña since the 1998-2.01 event,which is the only observed three-year La Niña event since *** examining the status of air-sea fields over the tropical Pacific in March 2.2.,it can be seen that while the thermocline depths were near average,the southeasterly wind stress was at its strongest since ***,based on a quaternary linear regression model that includes various relevant air-sea variables over the equatorial Pacific in March,we argue that the historic southeasterly winds over the equatorial Pacific are favorable for the emergence of the third-year La Niña,and both the anomalous easterly and southerly wind stress components are important and contribute~50%of the third-year La Niña growth,***,the possible global climate impacts of this event are discussed.

Nucleic acids are natural biopolymers of nucleotides that store, encode, transmit and express genetic information, which play central roles in diverse cellular events and diseases in living things. The analysis of nucleic acids and nucleic acids-based analysis have been widely applied in biological studies, clinical diagnosis, environmental analysis, food safety and forensic *** the past decades, the field of nucleic acids analysis has been rapidly advancing with many technological *** this review, we focus on the methods developed for analyzing nucleic acids, nucleic acids-based analysis, device for nucleic acids analysis, and applications of nucleic acids analysis. The representative strategies for the development of new nucleic acids analysis in this field are summarized, and key advantages and possible limitations are discussed. Finally, a brief perspective on existing challenges and further research development is provided.

Rosa rugosa,commonly known as rugged rose,is a perennial ornamental *** produces beautiful flowers with a mild fragrance and colorful seed *** many other cultivated roses,*** adapts to a wide range of habitat types and harsh environmental conditions such as salinity,alkaline,shade,drought,high humidity,and frigid ***,we produced and analyzed a high-quality genome sequence for *** to understand its ecology,floral characteristics and *** HiFi reads were initially used to construct the draft genome of ***,and then Hi-C sequencing was applied to assemble the contigs into 7 *** obtained a 382.6Mb genome encoding 39,704 protein-coding *** genome of *** appears to be conserved with no additional whole-genome duplication after the gamma whole-genome triplication(WGT),which occurred~100 million years ago in the ancestor of core *** on a comparative analysis of the high-quality genome assembly of *** and other high-quality Rosaceae genomes,we found a unique large inverted segment in the Chinese rose *** and a retroposition in strawberry caused by post-WGT *** also found that floral development-and stress response signaling-related gene modules were retained after the *** MADS-box genes involved in floral development and the stress-related transcription factors DREB2.-INTERACTING PROTEIN 2.DRIP2.and PEPTIDE TRANSPORTER 3(PTR3)were found to be positively selected in evolution,which may have contributed to the unique ability of this plant to adapt to harsh *** summary,the high-quality genome sequence of *** provides a map for genetic studies and molecular breeding of this plant and enables comparative genomic studies of Rosa in the near future.

Objective Several COVID-19 patients have overlapping comorbidities. The independent role of each component contributing to the risk of COVID-19 is unknown, and how some non-cardiometabolic comorbidities affect the risk of COVID-19 remains *** A retrospective follow-up design was adopted. A total of 1,160 laboratory-confirmed patients were enrolled from nine provinces in china. Data on comorbidities were obtained from the patients’ medical records. Multivariable logistic regression models were used to estimate the odds ratio(OR) and 95% confidence interval(95% CI) of the associations between comorbidities(cardiometabolic or non-cardiometabolic diseases), clinical severity, and treatment outcomes of *** Overall, 158(13.6%) patients were diagnosed with severe illness and 32.2.7%) had unfavorable outcomes. Hypertension(2.87, 1.30–6.32., type 2.diabetes(T2.DM)(3.57, 2.32.5.49),cardiovascular disease(CVD)(3.78, 1.81–7.89), fatty liver disease(7.53, 1.96–2..96), hyperlipidemia(2.15, 1.2.–3.67), other lung diseases(6.00, 3.01–11.96), and electrolyte imbalance(10.40, 3.00–2..10)were independently linked to increased odds of being severely ill. T2.DM(6.07, 2.89–12.75), CVD(8.47,6.03–11.89), and electrolyte imbalance(19.44, 11.47–32.96) were also strong predictors of unfavorable outcomes. Women with comorbidities were more likely to have severe disease on admission(5.46,3.2.–9.19), while men with comorbidities were more likely to have unfavorable treatment outcomes(6.58, 1.46–2..64) within two *** Besides hypertension, diabetes, and CVD, fatty liver disease, hyperlipidemia, other lung diseases, and electrolyte imbalance were independent risk factors for COVID-19 severity and poor treatment outcome. Women with comorbidities were more likely to have severe disease, while men with comorbidities were more likely to have unfavorable treatment outcomes.
