The global physical and biogeochemical environment has been substantially altered in response to increased atmospheric greenhouse gases from human *** 2.2.,the sea surface temperature(SST)and upper 2.00 m ocean heat content(OHC)reached record *** 0–2.00 m OHC in 2.2. exceeded that of 2.2. by 15±10 ZJ(1 Zetta Joules=102. Joules)(updated IAP/CAS data);9±5 ZJ(NCEI/NOAA data).The Tropical Atlantic Ocean,the Mediterranean Sea,and southern oceans recorded their highest OHC observed since the *** with the onset of a strong El Niño,the global SST reached its record high in 2.2. with an annual mean of~0.2.℃ higher than 2.2. and an astounding>0.3. above 2.2. values for the second half of *** density stratification and spatial temperature inhomogeneity indexes reached their highest values in 2.2..

Aims:Surveys and research on the applications of the hepatic venous pressure gradient(HVPG)are important for understanding the current status and future development of this technology in *** article aimed to investigate the status of hepatic venous pressure gradient measurement in china in ***:We investigated the overall status of HVPG technology in china-including hospital distribution,hospital level,annual number of cases,catheters used,average cost,indications,and current challenges by using online *** counting the number and percentages of cases of these results,we hope to clarify the current status of HVPG measurements in ***:According to the survey,85 hospitals in china used HVPG technology in {3.{3. distributed across {3. provinces.A total of 4989 HVPG measurements were performed in all of the surveyed hospitals in {3.{3.,of which 2.13.cases(56.4%)were measured *** average cost of HVPG measurement was 5646.8±{3.{3..9 *** the clinical teams who performed the measurements(sometimes multiple per hospital),94.3.(8{3.87)used the balloon method,and the majority of the teams(7{3.4%,63.87)used embolectomy ***:This survey clarified the clinical application status of HVPG in china and confirmed that some medical institutions in china have established a foundation for this *** is still necessary to continue promoting and popularizing this technology in the future.

Based on the updates of the Climate Prediction Center and International Research Institute for Climate and Society(CPC/IRI)and the china Multi-Model Ensemble(CMME)El Niño-Southern Oscillation(ENSO)Outlook issued in April 2.2.,La Niña is favored to continue through the boreal summer and fall,indicating a high possibility of a three-year La Niña(2.2.-2.).It would be the first three-year La Niña since the 1998-2.01 event,which is the only observed three-year La Niña event since *** examining the status of air-sea fields over the tropical Pacific in March 2.2.,it can be seen that while the thermocline depths were near average,the southeasterly wind stress was at its strongest since ***,based on a quaternary linear regression model that includes various relevant air-sea variables over the equatorial Pacific in March,we argue that the historic southeasterly winds over the equatorial Pacific are favorable for the emergence of the third-year La Niña,and both the anomalous easterly and southerly wind stress components are important and contribute~50%of the third-year La Niña growth,***,the possible global climate impacts of this event are discussed.

The Chinese Small Telescope Array （CSTAR） is the first Chinese astronomical instrument on the Antarctic ice cap. The low temperature and low pressure testing of the data acquisition system was carried out in a laboratory refrigerator and on the 4500 m Pamirs high plateau, respectively. The results from the final four nights of test observations demonstrated that CSTAR was ready for operation at Dome A, Antarctica. In this paper, we present a description of CSTAR and the performance derived from the test observations.

We assessed the role of diabetes mellitus（DM） on treatment effects in drug‐susceptible initial pulmonary tuberculosis（PTB） patients. A prospective study was conducted in eight provinces of china from October 2.08 to December 2.10. We enrolled 1,3.3.confirmed drug‐susceptible initial PTB patients, and all subjects received the treatment regimen（2.H3.R3.E3.Z3.4 H3.R3. as recommended by the national guidelines. Of the 1,3.3.PTB patients, 157（11.9%） had DM; these patients had more sputum smear‐positive rates at the end of the second month [adjusted odds ratios（aO R） 2.82., 95% confidence intervals（CI） 1.783.4.490], and higher treatment failure（aO R 2.12., 95% CI 1.565‐3.477） and death rates（aO R 1.53., 95% CI 1.011‐2.62.）. DM was a contributing factor for culture‐positive rates at the end of the second month and treatment failure and death of PTB patients, thus playing an unfavorable role in treatment effects of PTB.

Nucleic acids are natural biopolymers of nucleotides that store, encode, transmit and express genetic information, which play central roles in diverse cellular events and diseases in living things. The analysis of nucleic acids and nucleic acids-based analysis have been widely applied in biological studies, clinical diagnosis, environmental analysis, food safety and forensic *** the past decades, the field of nucleic acids analysis has been rapidly advancing with many technological *** this review, we focus on the methods developed for analyzing nucleic acids, nucleic acids-based analysis, device for nucleic acids analysis, and applications of nucleic acids analysis. The representative strategies for the development of new nucleic acids analysis in this field are summarized, and key advantages and possible limitations are discussed. Finally, a brief perspective on existing challenges and further research development is provided.
