Bacterial pathogens destroy the structural integrity of functional organs in fish,leading to severe challenges in the aquaculture *** D_(3)(VD_(3))prevents bacterial infections and strengthens immune system function via vitamin D receptor(VDR).However,the correlation between VD_(3)/VDR and the structural integrity of functional organs remains *** study aimed to investigate the influence of VD_(3)supplementation on histological characteristics,apoptosis,and tight junction characteristics in fish intestine during pathogen infection.A total of 540 healthy grass carp(257.24±0.63 g)were fed different levels of VD_(3)(15.2,364.3,782.5,1,167.9,1,573.8,and 1,980.1 IU/kg)for 70 ***,fish were challenged with Aeromonas hydrophila,a pathogen that causes intestinal *** present study demonstrated that optimal supplementation with VD_(3)(1)alleviated intestinal structural damage,and inhibited oxidative damage by reducing levels of oxidative stress biomarkers;(2)attenuated excessive apoptosisrelated death receptor and mitochondrial pathway processes in relation to p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling(P<0.05);(3)enhanced tight junction protein expression by inhibiting myosin light chain kinase signaling(P<0.05);and(4)elevated VDR isoform expression in fish intestine(P<0.05).Overall,the results demonstrated that VD_(3)alleviates oxidative injury,apoptosis,and the destruction of tight junction protein under pathogenic infection,thereby strengthening pathogen defenses in the *** finding supports the rationale for VD_(3)intervention as an essential practice in sustainable aquaculture.

The long-term safety and effectiveness of once-daily tadalafil is crucial,but limited data are available in Chinese patients witherectile dysfunction(ED).In this post-marketing,multicenter,randomized,open-label trial with 2-year follow-up,635 ED caseswere randomized to receive daily oral tadalafil 2.5 mg or 5 mg for 3 months,of whom 580 continued once-daily tadalafil 5 mg for21 ***-emergent adverse events in the 12-month and 24-month period were similar,with the most common beingviral upper respiratory tract infection,upper respiratory tract infection,and *** improvement from baseline inthe International Index of Erectile Function-Erectile Function(IIEF-EF)score was detected at month 12(least squares mean[LSM]change:7.9,95%confidence interval[CI]:7.5–8.4,P<0.001)and was maintained to month 24(LSM change:8.6,95%CI:8.1–9.0,P<0.001).The proportions of patients regaining normal erectile function(IIEF-EF score≥26)were 43.7%and 48.0%at months 12 and 24,*** Assessment Questionnaire results showed improved erection function in 97.5%ofpatients and improved ability to engage in sexual activity in 95.9%of patients at month 12;these values were 96.1%and 95.0%at month 24,*** quality of sexual life score based on the Sexual Life Quality Questionnaire(SLQQ)was increased by52.2%at month 12 and by 55.3%at month 24(both P<0.001).The treatment satisfaction score determined by SLQQ(mean±standard deviation)was 62.4±21.0 at month 12 versus 65.9±20.2 at month ***-year daily application of tadalafil 5mg in Chinese men with ED showed a favorable safety profile and durable improvement in sexual performance and satisfaction.

Over the past 70 years, the semiconductor industry has undergone transformative changes,largely driven by the miniaturization of devices and the integration of innovative structures and materials. Two-dimensional(2D) materials like transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs) and graphene are pivotal in overcoming the limitations of silicon-based technologies, offering innovative approaches in transistor design and functionality, enabling atomic-thin channel transistors and monolithic 3D integration. We review the important progress in the application of 2D materials in future information technology, focusing in particular on microelectronics and optoelectronics. We comprehensively summarize the key advancements across material production, characterization metrology, electronic devices, optoelectronic devices, and heterogeneous integration on silicon. A strategic roadmap and key challenges for the transition of 2D materials from basic research to industrial development are outlined. To facilitate such a transition, key technologies and tools dedicated to 2D materials must be developed to meet industrial standards, and the employment of AI in material growth, characterizations, and circuit design will be essential. It is time for academia to actively engage with industry to drive the next 10 years of 2D material research.

Hydroxyapatite(HAP)porous microspheres with very high specific surface area and drug loading capacity,as well as excellent biocompatibility,have been widely used in tumour ***^(2+)is considered to be a key factor in bone regeneration,acting as an active agent to stimulate bone and cartilage formation,and is effective in accelerating cell migration and promoting angiogenesis,which is essential for bone tissue repair,anti-cancer,and *** this study,abalone shells from a variety of sources were used as raw materials,and Mg^(2+)-doped abalone shell-derived mesoporous HAP microspheres(Mg-HAP)were prepared by hydrothermal synthesis as Mg^(2+)/icariin smart dual delivery system(ICA-Mg-HAP,IMHA).With increasing of Mg^(2+)doping,the surface morphology of HAP microspheres varied from collapsed macroporous to mesoporous to smooth and non-porous,which may be due to Mg^(2+)substitution or coordination in the HAP *** 30%Mg^(2+)doping,the Mg-HAP microspheres showed a more homogeneous mesoporous morphology with a high specific surface area(186.06 m^(2)/g).The IMHA microspheres showed high drug loading(7.69%)and encapsulation rate(83.29%),sustained Mg^(2+)release for more than 27 days,sustained and stable release of icariin for 60 hours,and good responsiveness to pH(pH 6.4>pH 5.6).In addition,the IMHA delivery system stimulated the rapid proliferation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and induced apoptosis in MG63 cells by blocking the G2 phase cycle of osteosarcoma cells and stimulating the high expression of apoptotic genes(Bcl-2,caspase-3,-8,-9).This suggests that the abalone shell-based IMHA may have potential applications in drug delivery and tumour therapy.
