To explore the impact of wheel-rail excitation on the dynamic performance of axle box bearings,a dynamic model of the high-speed train including axle box bearings is ***,the dynamic response characteristics of the axle box bearing are *** investigation focuses on the acceleration characteristics of bearing vibration under excitation of track irregularities and wheel *** addition,experiments on both normal and faulty bearings are conducted separately,and the correctness of the model and some conclusions are *** to the research,track irregularity is unfavorable for bearing fault detection based on resonance *** the same speed conditions,the acceleration peak of bearing is inversely proportional to the length of the wheel flat and directly proportional to its *** paper will contribute to a deeper understanding of the dynamic performance of axle box bearings.

In this study,the cobalt-nickel layered double hydroxides(CoNi LDH)were synthesized with a variety of Co/Ni mass ratio,as *** comparison,Co1Ni3LDH presented the best peroxymonosulfate(PMS)activation efficiency for 2,4-dichlorophenol ***,CoNi LDH@Nickel foam(CoNi LDH@NF)composite membrane was constructed for enhancing the stability of catalytic ***,CoNi LDH@NF-PMS system exerted high degradation efficiency of 99.22%within 90 min for 2,4-DCP when[PMS]_(0)=0.4 g/L,Co^(1)Ni^(3)LDH@NF=2 cm×2 cm(0.2 g/L),reaction temperature=298 *** the surface morphology and structure of the catalyst,it was demonstrated that the CoNi LDH@NF composite membrane possessed abundant cavity structure,good specific surface area and sufficient active ***,·OH,SO_(4)·^(-)and^(1)O_(2)played the primary role in the CoNi LDH@NF-PMS system for 2,4-DCP decomposition,which revealed the PMS activation mechanism in CoNi LDH@NF-PMS ***,this study eliminated the stability and adaptability of CoNi LDH@NF composite membrane,proposing a new theoretical basis of PMS heterogeneous catalysts selection.

This paper presents the study of the dynamic characteristics of confined mixed pebble beds with different friction under different vibration conditions using the discrete element ***λsegre-gation index is used to quantify the degree of particle mixing or *** percolation,convection and diffusion mechanisms are responsible for the segregation patterns of the mixed *** results show the degree of segregation can be suppressed by decreasing the vibration acceleration or free space height below a *** simulation reveals the threshold of vibration acceleration or free space height both are related to the bed height increment which determines the strength of the percolation *** addition,the strength of percolation and convection becomes weaker by decreasing the friction of particles and walls,which makes the pebbled bed remains in a mixed state under *** findings are significant to clarify the main factors behind the three segregation mechanisms and hence provide solutions to retaining the mixed state of the Li2TiO3&Be12Ti mixed pebble bed.

The near-seabed multichannel seismic exploration systems have yielded remarkable successes in marine geological disaster assessment,marine gas hydrate investigation,and deep-sea mineral exploration owing to their high vertical and horizontal ***,the quality of deep-towed seismic imaging hinges on accurate source-receiver positioning *** light of existing technical problems,we propose a novel array geometry inversion method tailored for high-resolution deep-towed multichannel seismic exploration *** method is independent of the attitude and depth sensors along a deep-towed seismic streamer,accounting for variations in seawater velocity and seabed slope *** approach decomposes the towed line array into multiline segments and characterizes its geometric shape using the line segment distance and pitch *** optimization parameters for seawater velocity and seabed slope angle,we establish an objective function based on the model,yielding results that align with objective *** the particle swarm optimization algorithm enables synchronous acquisition of optimized inversion results for array geometry and seawater *** validation using theoretical models and practical data verifies that our approach effectively enhances source and receiver positioning inversion *** algorithm exhibits robust stability and reliability,addressing uncertainties in seismic traveltime picking and complex seabed topography conditions.

Battery production is crucial for determining the quality of electrode,which in turn affects the manufactured battery *** battery production is complicated with strongly coupled intermediate and control parameters,an efficient solution that can perform a reliable sensitivity analysis of the production terms of interest and forecast key battery properties in the early production phase is urgently *** paper performs detailed sensitivity analysis of key production terms on determining the properties of manufactured battery electrode via advanced data-driven *** be specific,an explainable neural network named generalized additive model with structured interaction(GAM-SI)is designed to predict two key battery properties,including electrode mass loading and porosity,while the effects of four early production terms on manufactured batteries are explained and *** experimental results reveal that the proposed method is able to accurately predict battery electrode properties in the mixing and coating *** addition,the importance ratio ranking,global interpretation and local interpretation of both the main effects and pairwise interactions can be effectively visualized by the designed neural *** to the merits of interpretability,the proposed GAM-SI can help engineers gain important insights for understanding complicated production behavior,further benefitting smart battery production.

The excellent oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)activity of Fe–N–C catalysts in acidic media makes them potential for low-cost proton exchange membrane fuel *** recent years,it has been shown that heteroatoms(B,O,S,P,Cl,F,etc.)can be used as electron-withdrawing groups to modulate the planar structure and electron distribution of the Fe–Nx active sites to achieve simultaneous improvement of catalytic activity and ***,the optimal location of the heteroatoms remains ***,taking chalcogen heteroatoms(S and Se)as an example,we control the doping positions and investigate their effect on the ORR performance of the Fe–N–C *** first coordination shell of the iron single atom is identified as the optimal doping *** optimized catalysts Fe–N_(3)Se_(1)/NC and Fe–N_(3)Se_(1)/NC demonstrate improved activity and stability in both half cells and fuel *** work provides insights into the enhancement mechanism of heteroatom doping in single-atom catalysts.

Anaerobic digestion has been defined as a competitive approach to facilitate the recycling of corn ***,few studies have focused on the role of direct interspecies electron transfer(DIET)pathway in the acidification stage under the addition of different particle sizes of zero-valent iron(ZVI).In this study,three types of ZVI,namely iron filings,iron powder and nanoscale iron,were investigated,respectively,to enhance its high-value *** in volatile fatty acids(VFAs)and methane(CH4)production associated with the underlyingmechanisms were emphatically *** indicated that the addition of ZVI could increase the concentration of VFAs,with the most outstanding performance observed with the use of nanoscale ***,the conversion of propionic acid to acetic acid was driven by adding ZVI with no between-group differences in acidizing ***,the substrate was more fully utilized when supplied with iron powder compared with other groups in methanogenic phase,thereby displaying the maximumCH4 yield with a value of 263.1 mL/(g total solids(TS)).However,adding nanoscale iron could signally shorten the digestion time(T80),saving 7 days in comparison to the group of iron powder.

The gas-solid reaction process with wide particle size distribution is extensively used in the chemical engineering field,especially the particle reacts with the gas gradually,such as fluorination reactions in fluidized *** the computational fluid dynamics-discrete element method(CFD-DEM)is used for the coupling simulation of multiphase and polydisperse particle reaction system,the grid size directly affects the accuracy of flow field information and simulation of chemical ***,particle calculation time step will directly affect the efficiency of coupling *** this work,a local grid and time step refinement method is proposed to simulate multiphase and polydisperse particle fluid-ization reaction *** this method,the refined DEM grids are automatically generated in the computational domain around the fine particles,and the detailed fluid phase information is obtained with the interpolation *** the two-phase coupling process,particles are divided into different groups based on physical properties,each group has its own independent time *** multistage conical-cylindrical spouted bed is proposed for the fluorination reaction process;the operating gas ve-locity range of the polydisperse particle system is extended by the new design while the particle size distribution changes with the gas-solid reaction *** is demonstrated that the local grid and time step refinement method can improve the accuracy and efficiency of the traditional CFD-DEM method in the reaction process simulation,which describes a polydisperse particle system with wide particle size *** at improving the simulation accuracy and efficiency,this paper will be helpful for simulating the particle reaction process in the gas-solid fluidized bed and beneficial for the development of the CFD-DEM method.

Nitrogen electro-reduction under mild conditions is one promising alternative approach of the energyconsuming Haber-Bosch process for the artificial ammonia *** critical aspect to unlocking this technology is to discover the catalysts with high selectivity and *** this work,the N_(2)-to-NH_(3)conversion on the functional MoS_(2)is fully investigated by density functional theory calculations since the layered MoS_(2)provides the ideal platform for the elaborating copies of the nitrogenase found in nature,wherein the functionalization is achieved via basal-adsorption,basal-substitution or edge-substitution of transition metal *** results reveal that the edge-functionalization is a feasible strategy for the activity promotion;however,the basal-adsorption and basal-substitution separately suffer from the electrochemical instability and the NRR ***,MoS_(2)functionalized via edge W-substitution exhibits an exceptional *** energetically favored reaction pathway is through the distal pathway and a limiting potential is less than 0.20 ***,this work escalates the rational design of the high-effective catalysts for nitrogen fixation and provides the explanation why the predicated catalyst have a good performance,paving the guidance for the experiments.
