Development of MoS_(2.-stainless steel catalyst by 3D printing for efficient destruction of organics via peroxymonosulfate activation

Herein,a novel MoS_(2.-stainless steel composite material was first synthetized via a 3D printing method(3DP MoS_(2.-SS)for peroxymonosulfate(PMS)activation and organics *** with MoS_(2.-SS powder/PMS system(0.37 g/(m^(2./min)),4.3-fold higher k_(FLO)/S_(BET)value was obtained in 3DP MoS_(2.-SS/PMS system(1.60 g/(m^(2./min),resulting from the superior utilization of active *** observed that 3DP MoS_(2.-SS significantly outperformed the 3DP SS due to the enhanced electron transfer rate and increased active ***,Mo^(4+)facilitated the Fe^(2.)/Fe^(3+)cycle,resulting in the rapid degradation of florfenicol(FLO).Quenching experiments and electron paramagnetic resonance spectra indicated that·OH,SO_(4)·^(-),O_(2.·^(-)and^(1)O_(2.were involved in the degradation of *** effect of influencing factors on the degradation of FLO were evaluated,and the optimized degradation efficiency of 98.69%was achieved at 1 mM PMS and pH of *** degradation products were detected by UPLC/MS analyses and several possible degradation pathways were proposed to be the cleavage of C-N bonds,dechlorination,hydrolysis,defluorination and *** addition,3DP MoS_(2.-SS/PMS system also demonstrated superior degradation performance for 2.chlorophenol,acetaminophen,ibuprofen and *** study provided deep insights into the MoS_(2.-SS catalyst prepared by 3DP technology for PMS activation and FLO-polluted water treatment.

Precisely designing atomic metal-nitrogen-carbon(M-N-C)catalysts with asymmetric diatomic configurations and studying their structure–activity relationships for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)are important for zinc-air batteries(ZABs).Herein,a dualatomic-site catalyst(DASC)with CoN_(3)S-MnN_(2.S_(2. configuration was prepared for the cathodes of *** with Co-N-C(Mn-free)and CoMn-N-C(S-free doping),CoMn-N/S-C exhibits excellent half-wave potential(0.883 V)and turnover frequency(1.54 e·s^(−1)·site^(−1)),surpassing most of the reported state-of-the-art Pt-free ORR *** CoMn-N/S-C-based ZABs achieve extremely high specific capacity(959 mAh·g^(−1))and good stability(350 h@5 mA·cm^(−2.).Density functional theory(DFT)calculation shows that the introduction of Mn and S can break the electron configuration symmetry of the original Co 3d orbital,lower the dband center of the Co site,and optimize the desorption behavior of*OH intermediate,thereby increasing the ORR activity.

Cobalt selenide(CoSe_(2.)has garnered considerable attention as a prospective anode candidate for advanced lithium-ion storage,prompting comprehensive ***,CoSe_(2.-based anodes usually suffer from significant volume variation upon lithiation leading to unsatisfactory cycling ***,a versatile synthesis route is proposed for the in-situ fabrication of CoSe2.anoparticles embedded in N-dope carbon skeleton(CoSe_(2.@NC)through annealing treatment and selenization of a metal–organic framework-derived(MOF)*** N-doped carbon derived from the MOF serves not only as an excellent conductive substrate but also as a confined reactor,effectively inhibiting the structural instability and alleviating the inevitable volume change of CoSe_(2..Owing to their unique nanostructure,the as-prepared CoSe_(2.@NC exhibits a high capacity of 745.9mAh·g^(-1)at 0.1 A·g^(-1),while maintaining excellent rate capability and an impressive ***,the assembled lithium-ion capacitor(liC)based on CoSe_(2.@NC demonstrates an energy density of 130Wh·kg^(-1),a power density of 2..6 kW·kg^(-1),and remarkable capacity retention of 90.8%after 8000 *** results highlight the great potential of CoSe_(2.@NC for practical applications.

Properties and applications of cold supersonic gas jet

By analyzing the formation mechanism of a supersonic gas jet,a set of equations which describe the atomic beam properties were established. The influence of initial temperature,initial pressure,background gas pressure and pumping speed was discussed in detail. A simulation program was developed based on the equations,and the results under different initial conditions were obtained. The results are in good agreement with the experimental data,and suggest that,in order to get much smaller transverse momentum in collision experiments,it is necessary to lower the initial temperature and the initial pressure of the supersonic gas jet,together with increasing the pumping speed. These results are very instructive for construction of a new generation of cold supersonic gas jets.

Irrigation and nitrogen fertiliser optimisation in protected vegetable fields of northern china:Achieving environmental and agronomic sustainability

Globally,sub-optimal use of nitrogen (N) fertiliser and elevated N irrigation groundwater have led to high leached nitrate (NO_(3)^(–)) losses from protected vegetable field *** fertiliser and irrigation management in different soil types is crucial to reduce future N loads from such *** present 4-year study examined leached N loads from lysimeter monitoring arrays set up across 18 protected vegetable system sites encompassing the dominant soil types of northern *** treatments applied at each field site were:1) a high N and high irrigation input treatment (HNHI);2. a low N but high irrigation input treatment (LNHI) and 3) a low N with low irrigation input treatment (LNli).Results showed that the mean annual leached total nitrogen loads from the HNHI,LNHI and LNli treatments were 32.,2.4 and 2.7 kg N ha^(–1) in the fluvo-aquic soil,114,100 and 78 kg N ha^(–1) in the cinnamon soil and 79,68 and 57 kg N ha^(–1) in the black soil,*** N dissolved in irrigation water in the fluvo-aquic soil areas was 8.2.-fold higher than in the cinnamon areas.A structural equation model showed that N fertiliser inputs and leaching water amounts explained 14.7 and 81.8%of the variation of leached N loads,***,reducing irrigation water by 2..5%decreased leached N loads by 2..9%,while reducing manure N and chemical N inputs by 2. and 2.%decreased leached N loads by only 9.5%. This study highlights that protected vegetable fields dominated by fluvo-aquic soil need management to curtail leached N losses in northern china.

A series of emission reduction measures were conducted in Wuhan,Central china,to ensure good air quality during the 7th Military World Games(MWG)in October *** better understand the implications for ozone(O_(3))pollution control strategies,we applied integrated analysis approaches based on the de-weathered statistical model,parameterization methods,chemical box model,and positive matrix factorization *** the MWG,concentrations of O_(3),NO_x,and volatile organic compound(VOCs),OFP(O_(3)formation potential),L_(OH)(OH radical loss rate)were 83μg/m^(3),43μg/m^(3),2. ppbv,188μg/m^(3),and 3.9 s^(-1),respectively,which were 2.%,18%,3%,15%,and 13%lower than pre-MWG values and 6%,39%,30%,33%,and 50%lower than post-MWG values,*** removing meteorological influence,O_(3)and its precursors during the MWG decreased largely compared with post-MWG values,and only O_(3),NO_(2.,and oxygenated VOCs(OVOCs)declined compared with pre-MWG values,which revealed the emission reduction measures during the MWG played an important role for O_(3)*** six VOCs sources,the mass contributions of biomass burning and solvents usage during the MWG decreased largely compared with pre-MWG values.O_(3)production was sensitive to VOCs and the key species were aromatics,OVOCs,and alkenes,which originated mainly from solvents usage,biomass burning,industrial-related combustion,and vehicle *** O_(3)concentration during the strict control was mainly caused by OVOCs reduction due to biomass burning ***,the O_(3)abatement strategies of Wuhan should be focused on the mitigation of high-reactivity VOCs.

Vaccines have proven effective in protecting populations against COVID-19,including the recombinant COVID-19 vaccine(Sf9 cells),the first approved recombinant protein vaccine in *** this positive-controlled trial with 85 adult participants(Sf9 cells group:n=44;CoronaVac group:n=41),we evaluated the safety,immunogenicity,and protective effectiveness of a heterologous boost with the Sf9 cells vaccine in adults who had been vaccinated with the inactivated vaccine,and found a post-booster adverse events rate of 2..45%in the Sf9 cells group and 31.71%in the CoronaVac group(p=0.2.9),within 2. days after booster *** group reported any severe adverse *** the Sf9 cells vaccine booster,the geometric mean titer(GMT)of binding antibodies to the receptor-binding domain of prototype SARS-CoV-2.on day 2. post-booster was significantly higher than that induced by the CoronaVac vaccine booster(100,683.37 vs.9,451.69,plizing antibodies against pseudo SARS-CoV-2.viruses(prototype and diverse variants of concern[VOCs])increased by 2..2.–75.93 folds from baseline to day 2. post-booster,while the CoronaVac group showed increases of only 3.2.–10.70 ***,neutralizing antibodies against live SARS-CoV-2.viruses(prototype and diverse VOCs)increased by 68.18–192.67 folds on day 14 post-booster compared with the baseline level,significantly greater than the CoronaVac group(19.67–37.67 folds).A more robust Th1 cellular response was observed with the Sf9 cells booster on day 14 post-booster(mean IFN-γ+spot-forming cells per 2.105 peripheral blood mononuclear cells:2..66 vs.13.59).Protective effectiveness against symptomatic COVID-19 was approximately twice as high in the Sf9 cells group compared to the CoronaVac group(68.18%vs.36.59%,p=0.004).Our study findings support the high protective effectiveness of heterologous boosting with the recombinant COVID-19 vaccine(Sf9 cells)against symptomatic COVID-19 of dive

The compression of a Zr41Ti14Cu12.5Ni10Be2..5 bulk metallic glass (BMG) is investigated at room temperature up to 2. GPa using in-situ high pressure energy dispersive X-ray diffraction with a synchrotron radiation source. The pressure-induced structural relaxation is exhibited. It is found that below about 8 GPa, the existence of excess free volume contributes to the rapid structural relaxation, which gives rise to the rapid volumetric change, and the structural relaxation results in the structural stiffness under higher pressure.
