Two novel interpenetrated coordination polymers,[Zn(IBA)2]n (1) and {[Cd(IBA)2(H2O)].4H2O}n (2),have been synthesized by using 4-imidazole-benzoic acid (HIBA) as ligand under hydrothermal con-ditions. Complex 1 crystallizes in a chiral space group and has a two-fold interpenetrated 2D network structure with (4,4) topology,while complex 2 is a 3D porous dia network with four nets interpene-trating each other. The SHG activity of 1 and the photoluminescent property of 2 have been investi-gated.

The sluggish kinetics behaviors and vast volume variations of Na+hosts to FeS2anode involved intercalation,and conversion reactions plague its applicability of sodium-ion batteries （SIBs）.Here,a significantly expedited kinetics via cation intercalation and considerably relieved stress accumulation by constructing the concave scaffold protector are approached for *** Mn2+intercalation into FeS2,a new stable Mn–FeS2was generated with distorted coordination;elevated antibonding orbital occupancy and lowed d band center to the release of more free Na+were achieved,which was further encapsulated by hollow bowl-like carbon spheres （BC）This cation intercalation and concave morphology strategies confer Mn–FeS2@BC significantly enhanced electron ion transport kinetics via reversed electron transfer to FeS2fast desolvation kinetics,and evidently depressed structural deformation during Na+insertion and ***,Mn–FeS2@BC delivers the longevity and stable Na+storage capacity in both half and full cell ***,Mn–FeS2@BC also displays excellen adaptability in a wider temperature *** work proposes new views into the deep regulation of electrochemical performance of transition metal anodes via intercalation chemistry and concave engineering.

Solvothermal reactions of 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid (H3btc) with cadmium acetate or zinc acetate yielded two compounds formulated as (Me2NH2)[Cd(btc)]·DMA (1) (btc = 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylate, DMA = N,N-dimethylacetamide) and (Me2NH2)[Zn(btc)]·DMF (2) (DMF = N,N-dimethylformamide). Both are 3-D frameworks with the rutile topology, which are constructed from six-connected dimeric metal cores and three-connected btc linkers. The solvent molecules and counter cations are located in the 1-D channels of the frameworks. A slight difference between the two compounds is the different connectivity modes of the metal atoms with the carboxylate groups of the ligands. However, this slight difference results in distinct flexibilities of the two frameworks. Variable-temperature powder X-ray diffraction studies revealed that the framework of 1 collapses when heated at 180 °C with loss of the guest species, but compound 2 undergoes two structural transformations below 380 °C. Thermogravimetry-infrared spectroscopy analysis for 2 showed that the two structural transformations are induced by separate losses of solvent molecules and counter cations, and that the dimethylammonium cations are eliminated as neutral dimethylamine molecules. IR spectroscopy demonstrated that the protons are transferred from the counter cations onto the uncoordinated carboxylate oxygen atoms on the channel walls. Sorption and proton conduction studies have also been performed for the compounds.

In prevailing p-i-n perovskite solar cells(PSCs),solution-processible fullerene molecules are widely used as electron-transporting layers(ETLs)but they typically suffer from poor uniformity and undesirable stability ***,a separate bathocuproine(BCP)layer is needed to block hole tran sfer,increasing fabrication complexity and ***,we address these limitations by develo ping a novel polymeric ETL(named PF BCP)synthesized by polymerizing C_(60)with *** innovative material achieves both efficient electron transport and hole blocking,while its excellent uniformity minimizes interface recombination and enhances ***,our blade-coated PSCs utilizing PFBCP achieve a high power conversion efficiency exceeding 22%and retain 91%of initial efficiency after 1200 h of light *** development not only paves the way for commercially viable PSCs but also opens avenues for future ETL design to realize even more efficient and stable PSCs.

The valence states and coordination structures of doped heterometal atoms in two-dimensional(2D)nanomaterials lack predictable regulation ***,a robust method is proposed to form unsaturated heteroatom clusters via the metal-vacancy restraint mechanism,which can precisely regulate the bonding and valence state of heterometal atoms doped in 2D molybdenum *** unsaturated valence state of heterometal Pt and Ru cluster atoms form a spatial coordination structure with Pt–S and Ru–O–S as catalytically active *** them,the strong binding energy of negatively charged suspended S and O sites for H+,as well as the weak adsorption of positively charged unsaturated heterometal atoms for H*,reduces the energy barrier of the hydrogen evolution reaction proved by theoretical ***,the electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution performance is markedly improved by the ensemble effect of unsaturated heterometal atoms and highlighted with an overpotential of 84 mV and Tafel slope of 68.5 mV dec^(−1).In brief,this metal vacancy-induced valence state regulation of heterometal can manipulate the coordination structure and catalytic activity of heterometal atoms doped in the 2D atomic lattice but not limited to 2D nanomaterials.
