Nb/Ta variations of mafic volcanics on the Archean- Proterozoic boundary: Implications for the Nb/Ta imbalance

The HFSE and REE of the Precambrian mafic volcanics from the North China craton demonstrate obvious A(Archean)-P(Proterozoic) boundary. The Neoarchean mafic vol- canics show weak correlation between HFSE and TiO2. Their superchondritic Nb/Ta ratio (18.8±1.2) could be attributed to partial melting of mantle peridotite in the presence of garnet. Compared with Neoarchean mafic volcanics, the Paleoproterozoic ones have higher HFSE contents and lower Nb/Ta ratio (15.6±2.9). The significantly elevated HFSE and REE contents of Paleoproterozoic mafic volcanics imply metasomatic enrichment of mantle source, in which Ti-rich silicates could be present as suggested by significant positive correlations between TiO2 and HFSE. The global database of Precambrian mafic volcanics shows a similar A-P boundary. 23 Archean mafic volcanic suites yield an average Nb/Ta ratio of 17.8±1.9 higher than or close to the PM value; Proterozoic mafic volcanics from 28 suites yield an average Nb/Ta ratio of 14.7±4.1 close to the bulk continental crust (BCC) value (11―17.5). Thus, we suggest that the Nb/Ta deficit could be mainly formed in post-Archean time. Archean mafic volcanics could be one of the geochemical reservoirs complementing the low Nb/Ta of the post-Archean continental crust and DM.

The impact of cyclodextrins(CDs)on wine quality and stability remains largely *** study systematically assessed the protective effect of the post-fermentation addition of CDs on color stability of red wine from the viewpoints of color characteristics,copigmentation and phenolic *** grey relational analysis(GRA)and principal component analysis(PCA)methods were employed to dissect the key effective determinants related to color *** addition of CDs induced a significant hyperchromic effect of 8.19-25.40%,a significant bathochromic effect and an enhancement of the color ***,the evolution of anthocyanin forms and the content of monomeric anthocyanins revealed that β-CD is a superior favorable cofactor during wine aging,but for long-term aging,2-HP-β-CD and 2-HP-γ-CD are more beneficial in promoting the formation of polymerized anthocyanins and color *** work provides an important reference for the use of CDs to enhance the color quality and stability of red wines.

In this work,low-softening-temperature and low-modulus SiO_(2) was introduced as an embedded interface between SiC nanowires(SiCnws)and a Ba_(x)Sr_(1−x)Al_(2)Si_(2)O_(8) ceramic matrix to enhance strength and toughness of the *** the sintering process,molten SiO_(2) enhances the flowability of the ceramic powders and modifies the dispersion of *** strengthening effect of SiCnws was fully realized,and the flexural strength of the optimized ceramics reached 193±16 MPa,which represents an increase of 52.6%.After the formation of the embedded SiO_(2) interface with a low modulus,cracks can deflect along the SiCnws surface,which is consistent with the criterion of He and *** can effectively extend the crack propagation path,and the fracture toughness(K_(IC))is thus improved by 94.0%,reaching 3.1±0.5 MPa·m^(1/2).

Achieving Intrinsic Dual-Band Excitonic Luminescence from a Single Three-Dimensional Perovskite Nanoparticle Through Ni^(2+)-Mediated Halide Anion Exchange

Rapid halide anion exchange easily occurring in metal-halide perovskite nanoparticles(NPs)makes it nearly impossible to create a single three-dimensional(3D)CsPbX_(3)(X=Cl,Br,I)NP that simultaneously comprises two separate perovskite *** circumvent this problem,we first propose a Ni^(2+)-mediated halide anion-exchange strategy in zero-dimensional(0D)Ni^(2+)-doped Cs_(4)PbBr_(6)(Cs_(4)PbBr_(6):Ni)perovskites to achieve ultra-stable 3D CsPbX_(3)NPs with two coexisting different perovskite individuals of CsPbCl_(3)and/or CsPbBr_(3).By combining the experimental results with first-principles calculations,we confirm that the completely isolated[PbBr_(6)]4−octahedra in 0D Cs_(4)PbBr_(6):Ni NPs can restrict rapid halide anion exchange and the anion diffusion preferentially proceeds in the proximity of substitutional NiPb centers,namely[NiBr_(6)]4−octahedra in a meta-stable state,rather than in the 0D Cs_(4)PbBr_(6)and residual 3D CsPbBr_(3)regions,thereby delivering intrinsic dual-band excitonic luminescence from a single 3D CsPbX_(3)NP with a more stable and efficient CsPbCl_(3)component as compared to its counterparts synthesized using conventional *** new insights regarding the precise control of halide anion exchange enable the preparation of a new type of high-efficiency perovskite materials with suppressed anion interdiffusion for prospective optoelectronic devices.

True-temperature inversion algorithm for a multi-wavelength pyrometer based on fractional-order particle-swarm optimization

Herein,a method of true-temperature inversion for a multi-wavelength pyrometer based on fractional-order particle-swarm optimization is proposed for difﬁcult inversion problems with unknown ***-order calculus has the inherent advantage of easily jumping out of local extreme values;here,it is introduced into the particle-swarm algorithm to invert the true *** improved adaptive-adjustment mechanism is applied to automatically adjust the current velocity order of the particles and update their velocity and position values,increasing the accuracy of the true temperature *** results of simulations using the proposed algorithm were compared with three algorithms using typical emissivity models:the internal penalty function algorithm,the optimization function(fmincon)algorithm,and the conventional particle-swarm optimization *** results show that the proposed algorithm has good accuracy for true-temperature *** experimental results from a rocket-motor plume were used to demonstrate that the true-temperature inversion results of this algorithm are in good agreement with the theoretical true-temperature values.

High-speed flexible near-infrared organic photodiode for optical communication

Optical communication is a particularly compelling technology for tackling the speed and capacity bottlenecks in data communication in modern society. Currently, the silicon photodetector plays a dominant role in high-speed optical communication across the visible-near-infrared spectrum. However, its intrinsic rigid structure, high working bias and low responsivity essentially limit its application in next-generation flexible optoelectronic devices. Herein, we report a narrow-bandgap non-fullerene acceptor（NFA） with a remarkable π-extension in the direction of both central and end units（CH17） with respect to the Y6 series, which demonstrates a more effective and compact 3D molecular packing, leading to lower trap states and energetic disorders in the photoactive film. Consequently, the optimized solution-processed organic photodetector（OPD） with CH17 exhibits a remarkable response time of 91 ns（λ = 880 nm） due to the high charge mobility and low parasitic capacitance, exceeding the values of most commercial Si photodiodes and all NFA-based OPDs operating in self-powered mode. More significantly, the flexible OPD exhibits negligible performance attenuation（1%） after bending for 500 cycles, and maintains 96% of its initial performance even after 550 h of indoor exposure. Furthermore, the high-speed OPD demonstrates a high data transmission rate of 80 MHz with a bit error rate of 3.5 × 10-4, meaning it has great potential in next-generation high-speed flexible optical communication systems.

Phomaketals A(1)and B(2),two tropolonic meroterpenoids with the unprecedented pentacyclic skeletons,were isolated from the solid-substrate fermentation cultures of a eupC overexpressed mutant strain of the fungus Phoma sp.,together with a biogenetically related secondary metabolite pughiinin B(3),and the known one noreupenifeldin B(4).The structures of 1–3 were elucidated primarily by nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)*** absolute configurations of 1 and 2 were assigned by electronic circular dichroism calculations and the calculated NMR with DP4+analysis,while that of 3 was established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis using Cu Kα***,phomaketals A(1)and B(2)could be derived from the hypothetical tropolonic sesquiterpene intermediates neosetophomone B(6)and 9-R-neosetophomone B(6),respectively,via different reactions *** 1 showed antiproliferative effect only against the SUPB15 cells,with an 50%inhibitory concentration(IC50)value of 4.85μmol/L,while the co-isolated known meroterpenoid 4 displayed potent effects against three tumor cell lines,SUPB15,EL4,and H9,showing IC50values of 0.36–27.08μmol/L.
