BACKGROUND: In the natural evolution of cerebrovascular disease, unconscious use of affected extremity during drug treatment and daily life can improve the function of affected upper extremity partially, but it is very slow and also accompanied by the formation of abnormal mode. Therefore, functional training should be emphasized in recovering the motor function of extremity. OBJECTIVE: To observe the effects of combination of motor relearning program and Bobath method on motor function of upper extremity of patients with stroke. DESIGN: Comparison of therapeutic effects taking stroke patients as observation subjects. SETTING: Department of Neurology, General Hospital of Beijing Jingmei Group. PARTICIPANTS: Totally 120 stroke patients, including 60 males and 60 females, averaged (59±3) years, who hospitalized in the Department of Neurology, General Hospital of Beijing Jingmei Group between January 2005 and June 2006 were recruited. The involved patients met the following criteria: Stroke attack within 2 weeks; diagnosis criteria of cerebral hemorrhage or infarction made in the 4th National Cerebrovascular Disease Conference; confirmed by skull CT or MRI; Informed consents of therapeutic regimen were obtained. The patients were assigned into 2 groups according to their wills: rehabilitation group and control group, with 30 males and 30 females in each group. Patients in rehabilitation group averaged (59±2)years old, and those in the control group averaged (58±2)years old. METHODS: ① Patients in two groups received routine treatment in the Department of Neurology. When the vital signs of patients in the rehabilitation group were stable, individualized treatment was conducted by combined application of motor relearning program and Bobath method. Meanwhile, training of activity of daily living was performed according to the disease condition changes of patients at different phases, including the nursing and instruction of body posture, the maintenance of good extremity

The effects of land use and land cover changes on hydrological processes and sediment yield are important issues in regional *** Xunwu River catchment located in the red soil hilly region of southern China has experienced drastic land use changes in the past 30 years,with orchard increases of approximately 42%and forest decreases of approximately 40%.These changes have resulted in some alterations of runoff and sediment *** study aims to evaluate effects of land use/land cover on runoff and sediment yield in the Xunwu River *** SWAT model(Soil and Water Assessment Tool)was used for runoff and sediment simulation,and the results met the requirements of the model acceptance based on evaluation statistics of R^(2)(the coefficient of determination),PBIAS(percent bias),and NSE(Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency).Four land use scenarios representing the gradual expansion of orchards in the past 26 years were developed for assessment of hydrological processes and sediment yield *** a result,both runoff and sediment yield were changed insignificantly with decrease rates of 1.84%and 5.29%,*** addition,surface runoff accounts for the largest share of the runoff components,but the lateral flow changed more than other runoff components with a decrease rate of 10.96%.The results show that orchard expansion does not reveal severe water and soil *** study can contribute to the rational utilization of land and water resources in the red soil hilly area of southern Jiangxi Province.

As an emerging distributed technology, blockchain has begun to penetrate into many fields such as finance, healthcare, supply chain, intelligent transportation. However, the interoperability and value exchange between different independent blockchain systems is restricting the expansion of blockchain. In this paper, a notary group-based cross-chain interaction model is proposed to achieve the interoperability between different blockchains. Firstly, a notary election mechanism is proposed to choose one notary from the notary group to act as a bridge for cross-chain transactions. Secondly, a margin pool is introduced to limit the misconduct of the elected notary and ensure the value transfer between the involved blockchains. Moreover, a reputation based incentive mechanism is used to encourage members of the notary group to participate in cross-chain transactions. Ethereum-based experiments demonstrate that the proposed mechanism can provide an acceptable performance for cross-chain transactions and provide a higher security level than ordinary cross-chain mechanisms.

The shuttle effect of soluble polysulfides is a serious problem impeding the development of lithium−sulfur ***,continuous amino-functionalized University of Oslo 66 membranes supported on carbon nanotube films are proposed as ion-permselective interlayers that overcome these issues and show outstanding suppression of the polysulfide shuttle *** proposed membrane material has appropriately sized pores,and can act as ionic sieves and serve as barriers to polysulfides transport while allowing the passage of lithium ions during electrochemical cycles,thereby validly preventing the shuttling of ***,a fast catalytic conversion of polysulfides is also achieved with the asdeveloped ***,lithium−sulfur batteries with this interlayer show a desirable initial capacity of 999.21 mAh·g^(-1)at 1 C and a durable cyclic stability with a decay rate of only 0.04%per cycle over 300 ***,a high area capacity of 4.82 mAh·cm^(-2)is also obtained even under increased sulfur loading(5.12 mg·cm^(-2))and a lean-electrolyte condition(E/S=4.8μL·mg^(-1)).

The commercialization of lithium-sulfur(Li-S) batteries is obstructed by the sluggish sulfur electrochemical reaction,severe polysulfide shuttling effect,and damaging dendritic lithium ***,a threedimensional(3D) conductive carbon nanofibers skeleton-based bifunctional electrode host material is fabricated,which consists of a two-dimensional(2D) ultra-thin NiSe_(2)-CoSe_(2)heterostructured nanosheet built on one-dimensional(1D) carbon nanofibers(NiSe_(2)-CoSe_(2)@CNF).When serving as cathodic host,the heterostructured NiSe_(2)-CoSe_(2)@CNF offers a synergistic function of polysulfide confinement and catalysis *** S/NiSe_(2)-CoSe_(2)@CNF cathode shows outstanding cycling stability of 0.03% capacity decay rate per cycle over 500 cycles at 1 *** anodic host,the NiSe_(2)-CoSe_(2)@CNF with high-flux Li+diffusion property and good lithiophilic capability realizes dendrite-free Li plating/stripping *** from these synergistically merits,the Li-S full cell with S/NiSe_(2)-CoSe_(2)@CNFILi/NiSe_(2)-CoSe_(2)@CNF electrodes exhibits excellent electrochemical performance including a high specific capacity of1021 mA h g^(-1)over 100 cycles at 0.2 C and reversible areal capacity of 3.05 mA h cm^(-2)under a high sulfur loading of 4.33 mg cm^(-2)at 0.1 *** pouch cell also delivers ultra-stable Li/S *** study demonstrates a rational and universal electrode construction strategy for developing practical and high-energy Li-S batteries.

Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries hold great promises to serve as next-generation energy storage devices because of their high theoretical energy density and environmental ***,the shuttle effect of the soluble lithium polysulfides(LiPS)and intrinsic insulating nature of sulfur lead to low sulfur utilization and coulombic efficiency,leading to poor cycling *** impeded charge transportation and retard LiPS catalytic conversion also endows the Li-S batteries with sluggish redox reaction,leading to unsatisfied rate *** this study,Co-based MOF material ZIF-67 is used as the precursor to prepare Co nano-dots decorated three-dimensional graphene aerogel as sulfur *** porous architecture establishes a highly conductive interconnected framework for fast charge/mass *** exposed Co nano-dots serve as active sites to strongly trap LiPS,which endows CoNDs@G with low decomposition energy barrier for fast LiPS conversion reaction and promote the completely Li2 S catalytic ***-S cells based on the Co-NDs@G cathode exhibits excellent cyclability and a high capacity retention rate of 91.1%in 100 *** strategy offers a new direction to design sulfur immobilizer for accelerated LiPS conversion kinetics of Li-S batteries.

Application of Time-Series Model to Predict Groundwater Dynamic in Sanjiang Plain, Northeast China

To study the groundwater dynamic in the typical region of Sanjiang Plain, long-term groundwater level observation data in the Honghe State Farm were collected and analyzed in this paper. The seasonal and long-term groundwater dynamic was explored. From 1996 to 2008, groundwater level kept declining due to intensive exploitation of groundwater resources for rice irrigation. A decline of nearly 5 m was found for almost all the monitoring wells. A time-series method was established to model the groundwater dynamic. Modeled results by time-series model showed that the groundwater level in this region would keep declining according to the current exploitation intensity. A total dropdown of 1.07 m would occur from 2009 to 2012. Time-series model can be used to model and forecast the groundwater dynamic with high accuracy. Measures including control on groundwater exploitation amount and application of water saving irrigation technique should be taken to prevent the continuing declining of groundwater in the Sanjiang Plain.

Lithium sulfur(Li-S)batteries demonstrate great promise for efficient energy storage systems once the lithium polysulfide(LPS)shuttling and sluggish redox kinetics can be well ***,we developed a sea urchin-structured oxygen-deficient titanium dioxide semiconductor anchored with cobalt nano-dots(Co@TiO2-x)as a high-performance multifunctional sulfur host material for Li-S *** sea urchin-structured Co@TiO2-x offers strong structural stability and strengthened chemical interaction towards ***,the incorporation of Co nano-dots into TiO2 leads to increased oxygen vacancies,which augments the electrical conduction and benefits LPS conversion acceleration as *** a result,the oxygen vacancy-rich Co@TiO2-x composite exhibits excellent conductivity,strong LPS confinement and promoted sulfur electrochemical kinetics,rendering enhanced LPS shuttling inhibition and rapid redox *** to these features,the Co@TiO2-x/S cathode exhibits a discharge capacity of 803 mAh g-1at 1 C and a good cyclic stability upon 500 cycles with a low capacity fading rate of 0.07%per *** synergistic design of conductive multifunctional LPS barrier is also promising to enlighten the material engineering in other energy storage applications.
