Two novel 2D coordination polymers, [Co（BPDC）DMSO]·DMSO（1）（BPDC=2,2＇-bipyridyl-4,4＇-dicar- boxylic acid） and [Zn（BPDC）DMF]·DMF（2）, were synthesized from 2,2＇-bipyridyl-4,4＇-dicarboxylic acid ligand （H2BPDC） under solvothermal conditions. Single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses reveal that compound 1 crystal- lizes in orthorhombic system and Pca21 space group with a=1.29628（13） nm, b=1.13721（13） nm, c=1.66457（19） nm, α=90°, β=90°, γ=90°, V=2.4538（5） nm3. Compound 2 crystallizes in monoclinic system and P21/c space group with a=0.9429（6） nm, b=1.4757（10） nm, c=1.5980（9） nm, α=90°, β=114°, γ=90°, V=2.030（2） nm3. Compounds 1 and 2 exhibit two different 3-connected hcb and fes topologies, respectively. The structures of the two compounds both contain interesting characters of double-helical chains（left- and right-handed helical chains）. Additionally, the mag- netic and luminescent properties of the two compounds were studied.

BACKGROUND： To date, the use of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells （MSCs） for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease have solely focused on in vivo animal models. Because of the number of influencing factors, it has been difficult to determine a consistent outcome. OBJECTIVE： To establish an injury model in brain slices of substantia nigra and striatum using 1-methyl-4-phenylpytidinium ion （MPP＋）, and to investigate the effect of MSCs on dopaminergic neurons following MPP＋ induced damage. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING： An in vitro, randomized, controlled, animal experiment using I mmunohistochemistry was performed at the Laboratory of the Department of Anatomy, Fudan University between January 2004 and December 2006. MATERIALS： Primary MSC cultures were obtained from femurs and tibias of adult Sprague Dawley rats. Organotypic brain slices were isolated from substantia nigra and striatum of 1-day-old Sprague Dawley rat pups. Monoclonal antibodies for tyrosine hydroxylase （TH, 1：5 000） were from Santa Cruz （USA）; goat anti-rabbit IgG antibodies labeled with FITC were from Boster Company （China）. METHODS： Organotypic brain slices were cultured for 5 days in whole culture medium supplemented with 50% DMEM, 25% equine serum, and 25% Tyrode’s balanced salt solution. The medium was supplemented with 5 μg/mL Ara-C, and the culture was continued for an additional 5 days. The undergrowth of brain slices was discarded at day 10. Eugonic brain slices were cultured with basal media for an additional 7 days. The brain slices were divided into three groups： control, MPP＋ exposure, and co-culture. For the MPP＋ group, MPP＋（30 μmol/L） was added to the media at day 17 and brain slices were cultured for 4 days, followed by control media. For the co-culture group, the MPP＋ injured brain slices were placed over MSCs in the well and were further cultured for 7 days. Objective This study aimed to investigate the occurrence of No.12 lymph node micrometastasis in patients with gastric cancer and its relationship with clinicopathological parameters and *** A cohort of 160 gastric cancer patients who underwent gastrectomy and lymph node dissection were selected as the research *** immunohistochemical method was used to detect the micrometastasis of No.12 lymph node sections with negative routine pathological *** the same time,the clinical data of patients were collected and followed up to analyze the clinical significance of No.12 lymph node *** A total of 370 No.12 lymph nodes were detected in 160 surgical *** 160 patients,27 patients were found to be positive for No.12 lymph nodes during routine pathological examination,with a positive rate of 16.8%.A total of 308 lymph nodes from 133 patients with negative routine pathological examinations were stained by immunohistochemistry.A total of 17 lymph nodes from 10 patients were found to be *** results showed that 37 of the 160 patients had No.12 lymph node metastasis,and the positive rate was 23.1%,which was 6.3%higher than that of routine pathological *** multivariate analyses showed that the depth of invasion,lymph node metastasis in other groups,and clinical stage were independent risk factors for No.12 lymph node *** average follow-up time was 79.3 months,and the overall median survival time was 47.9 *** survival time of the No.12 lymph node-negative group was 67.3±2.5Âmonths,the median survival time was 73.2 months;the survival time of the No.12 lymph node-positive group was(28.4±5.4)months,and the median survival time was 31.3 *** survival time of the No.12 lymph node-negative group was significantly longer than that of the positive group(χ^(2)=12.75,P=0.000).Conclusion No.12 lymph node micrometastasis is a signal affecting the prognosis of patients with gastric can

As one of the external mechanisms to protect investors,the quality of CPA auditing influences the profit of the investor *** paper studies the A-share listed companies in China from2009to 2011,with logistic regression,re-evaluating and exploring the influence factors to the auditing quality of CPA from the perspectives of the size of accountant firms and the profit management *** finds that the size of accountant firms and the auditing quality are positively correlated with each other,but the statistics are not significant;however,the profit management level influences the auditing quality ***,this paper finds that compared with the small-sized accountant firms,the profit management level and the auditing quality of those big-sized accountant firms are correlated with each more significantly.

Identification of two-dimensional electrophoresis-separated proteins in human hepatoma cell by electrospray ion trap mass spectrometry

As one of the most important analytical methods in proteome research, mass spectrometry was utilized to identify proteins separated by two-dimensional electrophoresis in the human hepatoma cell line BEL-7404. The protein spots were excised from the gel, followed by in-gel digestion, and the peptide mappings were analyzed by liquid chromatography electrospray ion trap mass spectrometer. Nine proteins were identified via database searching, according to the molecular weights and amino acid sequences of peptides, among which two proteins have not been identified in the other liver-cell database. The sequence coverage was 21% -72%. Furthermore, the relationship between the expressed proteins and the liver carcinoma was discussed.

Atlantic salmon(Salmo salar)is an important economic fish that is seriously threatened by various viruses.A cell line designated as ASF derived from the caudal fin tissue of Atlantic salmon was established and characterized in this *** cells grew well in Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium(DMEM)containing 20%fetal bovine serum at 20℃.DNA sequencing and comparative analysis of the cytochrome B gene verified that the ASF cell line originated from Atlantic *** analysis indicated that the modal chromosome number of ASF cells was *** susceptibility test showed that ASF cells were susceptive to two important fish viruses,viral hemorrhagic septicemia virus(VHSV)and red-spotted grouper nervous necrosis virus(RGNNV).Viral replication in ASF cells was further confirmed by qRT-PCR and transmission electron ***,VHSV and RGNNV infections could induce the cellular responses in ASF cells,as indicated by the differential expression of cellular antiviral response-related genes,interferon-1 and *** conclusion,the newly established ASF cell line can be applied as an in vitro tool in fish virology and immunity studies.

Structural Reliability Analysis for Implicit Performance with Legendre Orthogonal Neural Network Method

In order to evaluate the failure probability of a complicated structure,the structural responses usually need to be estimated by some numerical analysis methods such as finite element method( FEM). The response surface method( RSM) can be used to reduce the computational effort required for reliability analysis when the performance functions are implicit. However,the conventional RSM is time-consuming or cumbersome if the number of random variables is large. This paper proposes a Legendre orthogonal neural network( LONN)-based RSM to estimate the structural reliability. In this method,the relationship between the random variables and structural responses is established by a LONN model. Then the LONN model is connected to a reliability analysis method,i.e. first-order reliability methods( FORM) to calculate the failure probability of the *** examples show that the proposed approach is applicable to structural reliability analysis,as well as the structure with implicit performance functions.
