This research investigates the ecological importance,changes,and status of mangrove wetlands along China’s *** interpretation,geological surveys,and ISO clustering unsupervised classification methods are employed to interpret mangrove distribution from remote sensing images from 2021,utilizing ArcGIS software ***,the carbon storage capacity of mangrove wetlands is quantified using the carbon storage module of InVEST *** show that the mangrove wetlands in China covered an area of 278.85 km2 in 2021,predominantly distributed in Hainan,Guangxi,Guangdong,Fujian,Zhejiang,Taiwan,Hong Kong,and *** total carbon storage is assessed at 2.11×10^(6) t,with specific regional data *** since the 1950s reveal periods of increase,decrease,sharp decrease,and slight-steady increases in mangrove areas in *** important finding is the predominant replacement of natural coastlines adjacent to mangrove wetlands by artificial ones,highlighting the need for creating suitable spaces for mangrove *** study is poised to guide future mangroverelated investigations and conservation strategies.

The application of the vector magnetometry based on nitrogen-vacancy(NV)ensembles has been widely investigatedin multiple *** has the superiority of high sensitivity and high stability in ambient conditions with microscale ***,a bias magnetic field is necessary to fully separate the resonance lines of optically detected magneticresonance(ODMR)spectrum of NV *** brings disturbances in samples being detected and limits the rangeof ***,we demonstrate a method of vector magnetometry in zero bias magnetic field using NV *** utilizing the anisotropy property of fluorescence excited from NV centers,we analyzed the ODMR spectrum of NVensembles under various polarized angles of excitation laser in zero bias magnetic field with a quantitative numerical modeland reconstructed the magnetic field *** minimum magnetic field modulus that can be resolved accurately is downto~0.64 G theoretically depending on the ODMR spectral line width(1.8 MHz),and~2 G experimentally due to noisesin fluorescence signals and errors in *** using 13C purified and low nitrogen concentration diamond combinedwith improving calibration of unknown parameters,the ODMR spectral line width can be further decreased below 0.5 MHz,corresponding to~0.18 G minimum resolvable magnetic field modulus.

The emergence of various new services has posed a huge challenge to the existing network *** improve the network delay and backhaul pressure,caching popular contents at the edge of network has been considered as a feasible ***,how to efficiently utilize the limited caching resources to cache diverse contents has been confirmed as a tough problem in the past *** this paper,considering the time-varying user requests and the heterogeneous content sizes,a user preference aware hierarchical cooperative caching strategy in edge-user caching architecture is *** divide the caching strategy into three phases,that is,the content placement,the content delivery and the content *** the content placement phase,a cooperative content placement algorithm for local content popularity is designed to cache contents *** the content delivery phase,a cooperative delivery algorithm is proposed to deliver the cached *** the content update phase,a content update algorithm is proposed according to the popularity of the ***,the proposed caching strategy is validated using the MovieLens dataset,and the results reveal that the proposed strategy improves the delay performance by at least 35.3%compared with the other three benchmark strategies.

Removal of uranium(VI)from nuclear wastewater is urgent due to the global nuclear energy *** study synthesized novel sponge-like 3D porous materials for enhanced uranium adsorption by combining electrospinning and fibrous freeze-shaping *** materials possessed an organic-inorganic hybrid architecture based on the electrospun fibers of polyacrylonitrile(PAN)and SiO_(2).As a sup-porting material,the surface of fibrous SiO_(2) could be further functionalized by cyano groups via(3-cyanopropyl)*** the cyano groups were turned into amidoxime(AO)groups to obtain a amidoxime-functionalized sponge(PAO/SiO_(2)-AO)through the subsequent ami-doximation *** proposed sponge exhibited enhanced uranium adsorption performance with a high removal capacity of 367.12 mg/g,a large adsorption coefficient of 4.0×10^(4)mL/g,and a high removal efficiency of 97.59%.The UO_(2)^(2+)adsorption kinetics perfectly conformed to the pseudo-second-order *** sorbent also exhibited an excellent selectivity for UO_(2)^(2+) with other interfering metal ions.2023 Hohai *** and hosting by Elsevier B.V.

AIM:To investigate the association between central serous chorioretinopathy(CSC)and Helicobacter pylori(Hp)by summarizing all available ***:The Scopus,Embase,EBSCO,PubMed,Web of Science,and Cochrane Library databases for all relevant studies published from inception to October 2022 were searched,and manually searched for relevant reference lists as a *** investigating the association between CSC and Hp infection were ***,8 case-control studies were included in the Meta-analysis after study ***:The results showed no significant correlation between Hp infection and CSC[odds ratio(OR)1.89,95%confidential interval(CI)0.58–6.15,I2=96%,P=0.29].After subgroup analysis based on the degree of development of the study(developing/developed countries),it was found that the results of the two subgroups were the same as the whole,and no significant difference between the two subgroups ***-regression showed that the effect of sample size on heterogeneity among studies was more prominent(P<0.01,adjusted R^(2)=89.72%),which can explain 89.72%of the sources of ***:This Meta-analysis reveals no significant correlation between Hp infection and CSC,which still warrants further well-designed extensive sample studies to reach a more reliable conclusion and promote a better understanding of the treatment of CSC.

Selective catalytic NH_(3)-to-N_(2) oxidation(NH_(3)-SCO)is highly promising for abating NH_(3) emissions slipped from stationary flue gas after-treatment *** practical application,however,is limited by the non-availability of low-cost catalysts with high activity and N_(2) ***,using defect-rich nitrogen-doped carbon nanotubes(NCNT-AW)as the support,we developed a highly active and durable copper-based NH_(3)-SCO catalyst with a high abundance of cuprous(Cu^(+))*** obtained Cu/NCNT-AW catalyst demonstrated outstanding activity with a T_(50)(*** temperature to reach 50% NH_(3) conversion)of 174℃ in the NH_(3)-SCO reaction,which outperformed not only the Cu catalyst supported on N-free O-functionalized CNTs(OCNTs)or NCNT with less surface defects,but also those most active Cu catalysts in open *** kinetics measurements and temperature-programmed surface reactions using NH_(3)as a probe molecule revealed that the NH_(3)-SCO reaction on Cu/NCNT-AW follows an internal selective catalytic reaction(i-SCR)route involving nitric oxide(NO)as a key *** to mechanistic investigations by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,Raman spectroscopy,and X-ray absorption spectroscopy,the superior NH_(3)-SCO performance of Cu/NCNT-AW originated from a synergy of surface defects and ***,surface defects promoted the anchoring of Cu O nanoparticles on N-containing sites and,thereby,enabled efficient electron transfer from N to Cu O,increasing significantly the fraction of SCR-active Cu^(+)sites in the *** study puts forward a new idea for manipulating and utilizing the interplay of defects and N-dopants on carbon surfaces to fabricate Cu^(+)-rich Cu catalysts for efficient abatement of slip NH_(3)emissions via selective oxidation.

Efficiently predicting effluent quality through data-driven analysis presents a significant advancement for consistent wastewater treatment *** this study,we aimed to develop an integrated method for predicting effluent COD and NH3 *** employed a 200 L pilot-scale sequencing batch reactor(SBR)to gather multimodal data from urban sewage over 40 *** we collected data on critical parameters like COD,DO,pH,NH_(3),EC,ORP,SS,and water temperature,alongside wastewater surface images,resulting in a data set of approximately 40246 *** we proposed a brain-inspired image and temporal fusion model integrated with a CNN-LSTM network(BITF-CL)using this *** innovative model synergized sewage imagery with water quality data,enhancing prediction *** a result,the BITF-CL model reduced prediction error by over 23%compared to traditional methods and still performed comparably to conventional techniques even without using DO and SS sensor ***,this research presents a cost-effective and precise prediction system for sewage treatment,demonstrating the potential of brain-inspired models.

In the current situation where the practical application of silicon anode materials encounters great challenges,silicon oxide(SiO_(x),0≤x≤2)has attracted the attention of researchers due to its relatively small volume expansion,stable cycling performance,and low cost,which is possible to realize commercial applications earlier than silicon ***,it remains a challenge to prepare SiO_(x)materials with long-term stable cycling performance and high Coulombic efficiency using low-cost *** this work,SiO_(x)anode material with high Coulombic efficiency and good long-term cycling stability was prepared at a low cost by hydrolysis of siloxane and in situ polymerization of phenolic *** hydrolysis of siloxane was further regulated by different silane coupling agents to regulate the size and microstructure of prepared SiO_(x)materials,which displayed the substantially improved electrochemical *** excellent electrochemical performance of SiO_(x)prepared by regulated hydrolysis of siloxane with silane coupling agents is attributed to the effect of silane coupling agent on size and microstructure of SiO_(x),revealing that the strategy of modulating the hydrolysis of siloxane by silane coupling agent is a potential method to prepare high-performance SiO_(x)materials.

The alloy-type material Sb is widely used in the anode materials of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)due to its high theoretical specific ***,its serious volume expansion problem during alloying/dealloying of Li~+limits its practical *** this work,C-Sb composite was constructed as anode material of LIBs by electrospinning route for the first time,Sb was introduced into the polyacrylonitrile-based hard carbon and coal tar pitch-based soft carbon composite amorphous carbon fiber with a diameter of 300-600 nm,which realized high cycling *** C-Sb-2(the mass ratio of polyacrylonitrile to Sb source is 1:2)electrode displayed charge capacities of 1098.5,930.3,841.7,753.5,643.9 and 545.8 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.1,0.2,0.3,0.5,1 and 2 A·g^(-1),*** when the current density returned to 0.1 A·g^(-1),the charge capacity was 939.3 mAh·g^(-1),revealing good stability and *** introduction of Sb into the amorphous carbon improved its conductivity and addressed the volume expansion issue of high specific capacity Sb during charge/***-situ XRD analysis confirmed the high reversibility of the C-Sb-2 during charging and *** functional theory(DFT)calculations revealed the gradual enhancement of the interface interaction between Sb_(x)Li_(y) and amorphous carbon(AMC)with increasing lithium content,contributing to the anchoring of alloy nanoparticles on the AMC surface and buffering the volume change of the ***,the gradual lithiation of Sb facilitated the electron transfer from Sb_(x)Li_(y) to *** findings hold promise for designing lithium storage materials with exceptional performance,highlighting the potential of C-Sb composites as anode materials for efficient next-generation lithium storage.
