Increasing greening of planet Earth to slow down the rise of atmospheric CO_(2) concentrations is certainly desirable;however,its consequences on water resources are less affirmative and thus are a matter of wide ***,as the largest and most successful country of the world in terms of artificial revegetation,is naturally the focus of the concerns and *** on previous studies,we analyzed the mechanism for the effects of climate and watershed characteristics on water resources,explained various hydrological results and phenomena,and considered the ways in which water consumption by artificial revegetation projects can be ***,some guidelines are suggested for artificial revegetation at watershed scale with consideration of water resource *** findings of this study highlight the need for more top-down approaches when studying the mechanism of"forest and water".

Supported nickel catalysts are promising candidates for dry reforming of methane, but agglomeration of Ni^(0) and coke deposition hinder the industrial applications. Herein, we report a novel interface-directed synthetic approach to construct distinct metal ensembles by carefully tuning the compositions of the carriers. A Zr-Mn-Zn ternary oxide-supported Ni catalyst, together with the respective binary oxide-supported analogues, was synthesized by adopting a sequential co-precipitation and wetness impregnation method. Combined characterization techniques identify distinct catalyst models, including (i) conventional NiO nanoparticles with different sizes on Zr-Mn and Zr-Zn, and (ii) epitaxially growing NiO ensembles of a few nanometers thickness at the periphery of ZnO_(x) particles. These catalysts exhibit divergent responses in the catalytic testing, with the ternary oxide system significantly outperforming the binary analogues. The strong electronic interactions between Mn-Ni increase Ni dispersion and the activity while the stability is strengthened upon Zn addition. Both high activity, high selectivity, and remarkable stability are attained upon co-adding Mn and Zn. The interfaces between Ni and Zr-Mn-Zn rather than the physical contacts of individual oxide-supported analogues through mechanical mixing are keys for the outstanding performance.

Nutritional Composition and Assessment of Gracilaria lemaneiformis Bory

The chemical composition, mineral elements, vitamins, free fatty acids and amino acid content of the edible red alga Gracilaria lemaneiformis Bory, grown in the sea near Nan＇ao island, guangdong Province, were analyzed in the present study. Gracilaria lemaneiformis Bory showed a total sugar content of 14.65%. The protein content was 21%, of which approximately 41% was determined to be essential amino acids （EAA）. The major amino acid components were glutamic acid, leucine, arginine, and alanine. Of the EAA assayed, methionine and cysteine appeared to be the most limiting amino acids compared with the EAA pattern provided by Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations. The total lipids content was 0.87% and comprised a high composition of unsaturated fatty acids （61%）, mainly as linoleic acid and oleic acid, and a little amount of polyunsaturated fatty acid; palmitic acid was the main component （39%） of saturated acids. Relatively high levels of vitamin C, iodine, phosphorus, and zinc were also present in G. lemaneiformis. The nutritional composition between G. lemaneiformis and Nostoc flagelliforme, a rare alga that is widely eaten in Chinese society, was compared. The results suggest that N. flagelliforme can be substituted for by G. lemaneiformis, not only because of their similar shape, but also because of their approximate nutritional composition. Gracilaria lemaneiformis may possibly serve as a potential healthy food in human diets in the future.

Fe3O4@SiO2 core–shell composite nanoparticles were successfully prepared by a one-pot process. Tetraethyl-orthosilicate was used as a surfactant to synthesize Fe3O4@SiO2 core–shell structures from prepared Fe3O4 nanoparticles. The properties of the Fe3O4 and Fe3O4@SiO2 composite nanoparticles were studied by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The prepared Fe3O4 particles were approximately 12 nm in size, and the thickness of the SiO2 coating was approximately 4 nm. The magnetic properties were studied by vibrating sample magnetometry. The results show that the maximum saturation magnetization of the Fe3O4@SiO2 powder（34.85 A·m^2·kg^–1） was markedly lower than that of the Fe3O4 powder（79.55 A·m^2·kg^–1）, which demonstrates that Fe3O4 was successfully wrapped by SiO2. The Fe3O4@SiO2 composite nanoparticles have broad prospects in biomedical applications; thus, our next study will apply them in magnetic resonance imaging.

In this paper, TiAl alloy powders were prepared successfully by high-energy ball milling and diffusion reaction in vacuum at low temperature. The titanium powder, aluminum powder, and titanium hydride powder were used as raw materials. The samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy（SEM）, X-ray diffraction（XRD）, field-emission scanning electron microscopy（FESEM）, and differential thermal analysis（DTA）. The results show that the alloy powders with the main intermetallic compounds of TiAl are obtained using Ti-Al powders and TiH2-Al powders after heated for 2 h at 500 ℃,3 h at 600 ℃,and 3 h at 750 ℃,*** average grain sizes of alloy powder are about 45 and20 μm with irregular shape, respectively. The prepared TiAl alloy powders are relatively pure, and the average quality content of oxygen in the alloy powders is0.33 wt%. The forming process of alloy powder contains both the diffusion reaction of Ti and Al,which gives priority to the diffusion reaction of aluminum.

Background Recurrent atrial arrhythmia is very common in patients after mitral valve surgery plus mini-maze *** about the mechanism for these patients may have important implication to improve the surgery *** Mini-maze procedure was defined as follow: Pulmonary vein encircling incision and roof line connecting the two circles lesion,left atrial isthmus lesion,and the right atrial isthmus *** were 517 patients with rheumatic valvular disease and pre-operative atrial fibrillation (AF) undergoing valve surgery plus mini-maze procedure in our hospital in the last 3 years,and 93 patients(18%) had recurrent atrial *** patients(6 males and 6 females,mean age 53.8±7.8 ys) underwent electrophysiological study using 3-D mapping system(10 pts) or conventional mapping method(2 pts).Results The first recurrent time from surgery was 4.4±2.2 *** mean follow-up time after catheter ablation was(12.0±6.0) *** patient with sinus bradycardia had recurrent incessant atrial tachycardia (AT),but the AT was terminated by catheter position and never could be induced any *** underwent a repeat procedure but failed just as the course in the first time, and was treated with DDDR pacemaker plus *** patients had 10 kinds of stable AT,including 5 at right atrial isthmus,2 at roof line,1 related to right atrial incision, 1 at anterior wall of left atrial,and 1 related to left superior pulmonary *** the stable AT were eliminated and remained sinus *** patients had ATs with variable cycle length and the 3-D mapping suggested macro-reentry AT around mitral *** tried to ablate at routine mitral isthmus and also in coronary sinus,but could not reach bi-directional conduction *** other 2 patients were AF with reconnection at all previous ablation *** strategy for AF included lesion at re-conduction sites and complex fractionated atrial *** patients with AF and mitral
