Autonomous aeroamphibious invisibility cloak with stochastic-evolution learning

Being invisible ad libitum has long captivated the popular imagination,particularly in terms of safeguarding modern high-end instruments from potential *** ago,the advent of metamaterials and transformation optics sparked considerable interest in invisibility cloaks,which have been mainly demonstrated in ground and waveguide ***,an omnidirectional flying cloak has not been achieved,primarily due to the challenges associated with dynamic synthesis of metasurface *** demonstrate an autonomous aeroamphibious invisibility cloak that incorporates a suite of perception,decision,and execution modules,capable of maintaining invisibility amidst kaleidoscopic backgrounds and neutralizing external *** physical breakthrough lies in the spatiotemporal modulation imparted on tunable metasurfaces to sculpt the scattering field in both space and frequency *** intelligently control the spatiotemporal metasurfaces,we introduce a stochastic-evolution learning that automatically aligns with the optimal solution through maximum probabilistic *** a fully self-driving experiment,we implement this concept on an unmanned drone and showcase adaptive invisibility in three canonical landscapes-sea,land,and air-with a similarity rate of up to 95%.Our work extends the family of invisibility cloaks to flying modality and inspires other research on material discoveries and homeostatic meta-devices.

Rare earth co-doped phosphor for fluorescence intensity ratio(FIR) thermometer has gained increasing attention in recent years. Herein, the novel Tb^(3+)and Eu^(3+)co-doped K_(3)SrBi(P_(2)O_(7))_(2)(KSBP) phosphate phosphors were reported. The crystal structure of the title phosphor was determined using Rietveld refinement and proved to have a three-dimensional structure. The time-resolved spectroscopy reveals that there is almost no energy transfer between Tb^(3+)and Eu^(3+). More importantly, Tb^(3+)and Eu^(3+)emissions show different thermal quenching behaviors, which claims the potential of this material for application in optical thermometer. The FIR of the typical KSBP:0.02Tb^(3+),0.04Eu^(3+)sample demonstrates a polynomial relationship as a function of temperature and the absolute and relative sensitivity are0.025 K^(-1) and 0.59%/K, respectively. In general, our study reports a novel and potential KSBP:Tb^(3+),Eu^(3+)phosphate phosphor that is promising for use in high-sensitive FIR thermometers.

Prognostic and clinical value of circPRKCI expression in diverse human cancers

Background:Highly expressed in various human cancers,circular RNA Protein Kinase C Iota(circPRKCI)has been reported to play an important role in cancer development and ***,we sought to reveal the prognostic and clinical value of circPRKCI expression in diverse human ***:We searched the Pubmed,Web of Science,and the Cochrane Library databases from inception until May 16,*** relationship between circPRKCI expression and cancer patients’survival,including overall survival(OS)and disease-free survival(DFS),was assessed by pooled hazard ratios(HR)with corresponding 95%confidence interval(CI).The correlation between circPRKCI expression and clinical outcomes was evaluated using odds ratios(OR)with corresponding 95%*** data were analyzed by STATA software(version 12.0)or Review Manager(RevMan 5.3).Results:A total of 15 studies with 1109 patients were incorporated into our *** results demonstrated that high circPRKCI expression was significantly related to poor OS(HR=1.96,95%CI:1.61,2.39,Plinical stage,and lymph node metastasis,but it was not significantly correlated with age,gender,and distant ***:Elevated circPRKCI expression was correlated with worse OS and unfavorable clinical features,suggesting a novel prognostic and predictive role of circPRKCI in diverse human cancers.

Polysaccharide of Alocasia cucullata Exerts Antitumor Effect by Regulating Bcl-2, Caspase-3 and ERK1/2 Expressions during Long-Time Administration

Objective: To study the in vitro and in vivo antitumor effects of the polysaccharide of Alocasia cucullata(PAC) and the underlying mechanism. Methods: B16F10 and 4T1 cells were cultured with PAC of 40 μg/m L, and PAC was withdrawn after 40 days of administration. The cell viability was detected by cell counting kit-8. The expression of Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 proteins were detected by Western blot and the expressions of ERK1/2 mRNA were detected by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR). A mouse melanoma model was established to study the effect of PAC during long-time administration. Mice were divided into 3 treatment groups: control group treated with normal saline, positive control group(LNT group) treated with lentinan at 100 mg/(kg·d), and PAC group treated with PAC at 120 mg/(kg·d). The pathological changes of tumor tissues were observed by hematoxylin-eosin staining. The cell apoptosis of tumor tissues was detected by TUNEL staining. Bcl-2 and Caspase-3 protein expressions were detected by immunohistochemistry, and the expressions of ERK1/2, JNK1 and p38 mRNA were detected by qRT-PCR. Results: In vitro, no strong inhibitory effects of PAC were found in various tumor cells after 48 or 72 h of administration. Interestingly however, after 40 days of cultivation under PAC, an inhibitory effect on B16F10 cells was found. Correspondingly, the long-time administration of PAC led to downregulation of Bcl-2 protein(P <0.05), up-regulation of Caspase-3 protein(P<0.05) and ERK1 mRNA(P<0.05) in B16F10 cells. The above results were verified by in vivo experiments. In addition, viability of B16F10 cells under long-time administration culture in vitro decreased after drug withdrawal, and similar results were also observed in 4T1 cells. Conclusions: Long-time administration of PAC can significantly inhibit viability and promote apoptosis of tumor cells, and had obvious antitumor effect in tumor-bearing mice.
