Elucidating the complex dynamic cellular organization in the hypothalamus is critical for understanding its role in coordinating fundamental body functions. Over the past decade, single-cell and spatial omics technologies have significantly evolved, overcoming initial technical challenges in capturing and analyzing individual cells. These high-throughput omics technologies now offer a remarkable opportunity to comprehend the complex spatiotemporal patterns of transcriptional diversity and cell-type characteristics across the entire hypothalamus. Current single-cell and single-nucleus RNA sequencing methods comprehensively quantify gene expression by exploring distinct phenotypes across various subregions of the hypothalamus. however, single-cell/single-nucleus RNA sequencing requires isolating the cell/nuclei from the tissue, potentially resulting in the loss of spatial information concerning neuronal networks. Spatial transcriptomics methods, by bypassing the cell dissociation, can elucidate the intricate spatial organization of neural networks through their imaging and sequencing technologies. In this review, we highlight the applicative value of single-cell and spatial transcriptomics in exploring the complex molecular-genetic diversity of hypothalamic cell types, driven by recent high-throughput achievements.

In today’s interconnected world, the ubiquitous influence of digital technology emphasizes the critical need to confront the growing menace of cybercrime. The unrelenting rise of cyber-attacks in the United States poses substantial hazards to individuals, corporations, and nations, jeopardizing economic stability, security, and personal privacy. This study aims to draw awareness of the seriousness of cyber dangers and emphasize employing proactive steps to protect our digital future. This paper stresses the necessity of cybersecurity, digital literacy education, and cybercrime awareness in mitigating these widespread hazards through extensive analysis and empirical research. A more resilient and secure digital environment for current and future generations can be established by cultivating a collective understanding of cyber dangers and developing effective preventative measures.

AIM:To evaluate the demographics,clinical characteristics,treatments,and outcomes of patients with ocular surface squamous neoplasia(OSSN)at the Philippine General ***:This was a single-center,11-year retrospective,cross sectional case series on 18 cases of OSSN seen between January 2012 to June *** patient’s demographics,presenting symptoms,tumor characteristics,histopathologic diagnosis,treatment,outcomes,and duration of follow-up were ***:Out of 33 identified cases of OSSN,only 18 were eligible for inclusion in the *** age was 60.78y(range 31 to 80),with male predominance(66.67%).The left eye was most commonly affected(61.11%)with most presenting with fleshy mass(83.33%).Most tumors were located nasally(66.67%)and were predominantly papilliform(44.44%)in morphology with associated hyperpigmentation(38.89%).Squamous cell carcinoma(SCCA)was the most common histopathologic diagnosis(72.22%).The main primary treatment was surgical excision(94.44%)with or without adjunctive therapy,with only 1 patient undergoing first-line topical *** 3 recurrences(16.67%)were noted with a median followup of 7.5mo.A statistically significant recurrence-free odds leaning towards the utilization of cryotherapy was ***:OSSN seen at the Philippine General hospital is presented as a limbal papilliform mass,most commonly affecting elderly *** excision with adjuvant cryotherapy and/or chemotherapy is the preferred mode of treatment.

A multiuser quantum direct communication network system for N users utilizing χ-type entangled states is prupused. The network system is composed of a communication center,N users,and N quantum lines linking the center and the N *** is no quantum line among users,and therefore only N quantum lines are necessary for communication between *** one χ-type entangled state, in this protocol we are able to send two bits of information through direct communication and,at the same time,share two bits of quantum keys. We propose an arbitrary controlled-unitary （CU） gate and a bidirectional quantum teleportation （BQTP） scheme. The proposed CU gate utilizes photonic qubits （photons） with cross-Kerr nonlinearities （XKNLs）, X-homodyne detectors, and linear optical elements, and consists of the consecutive operation of a controlled-path （C-path） gate and a gathering-path （G- path） gate. It is almost deterministic and feasible with current technology when a strong coherent state and weak XKNLs are employed. Based on the CU gate, we present a BQTP scheme that simultaneously teleports two unknown photons between distant users by transmitting only one photon in a path-polarization intra-particle hybrid entangled state. Consequently, it is possible to experimentally implement BQTP with a certain success probability using the proposed CU gate.

We propose a quantum secure direct communication protocol with entanglement swapping and hyperentanglement. Any two users, Alice and Bob, can communicate with each other in a quantum network, even though there is no direct quantum channel between them. The trust center, Trent, who provides a quantum channel to link them by performing entanglement swapping, cannot eavesdrop on their communication. This protocol provides a high channel capacity because it uses hyperentanglement, which can be generated using a beta barium borate crystal.
