An electron donor-π-bridge-electron acceptor(D-π-A) optical functional organic compound comprising a triphenylamine moiety as the electron donor and pyridine moiety as the electron acceptor was synthesized. The structure of the compound was solved by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. It crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21, with a = 9.753(5), b = 8.815(5), c = 25.554(5) ?, β = 96.315(5)°, V = 2184(2) ?~3, Z = 2, D_c = 1.136 g/m^3, F(000) = 792, Μr = 746.92, μ = 0.069 mm^(-1), the final R = 0.0658 and wR = 0.1730 for 6790 observed reflections with I > 2(I). Study of nonlinear optical properties shows that the compound exhibits excellent two-photon excited fluorescence with the two-photon absorption cross-section value of 116 GM. The structure-property relationship was researched in detail through X-ray crystallography and quantum chemical calculation. Result of living cell imaging experiment shows its potential in fluorescence microscopy bioimaging.

A π-conjugated optical functional organic compound comprising an electron donor(D) and acceptor(A) was synthesized. The crystal structure was determined through single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. It crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P2_(1) with a = 9.6610(5), b = 8.9093(4), c = 26.303(1)Å, β = 96.262(4)°, V = 2250.5(2)Å^(3), Z = 4, D_(c)= 1.220 Mg/m^(3), F(000) = 872, Μr = 413.50, μ = 0.072 mm^(-1), the final R = 0.0569 and wR = 0.1700 for 8976 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). Optical properties were studied in detail through theoretical calculation and experimental study. The result reveals that the compound exhibits excellent fluorescence performance and it can be compatible in the cytoplasm of NIH/3T3 cells, showing potential in fluorescence microscopy bioimaging.

A triphenylamine-containing Schiff base ligand(L), namely, N-(4-(1 H-imidazol-1-yl)benzylidene)-N,N-diphenylbenzene-1,4-diamine, was synthesized and characterized. By coordination of the ligand with CdI2, a complex CdI2 L2 was obtained. The structure of the complex was analyzed through single-crystal X-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 25.277(5), b = 11.176(5), c = 17.912(5) ?, β = 106.056(5)°, V = 4863(3) ?3, Z = 4, Dc =1.633 Mg/m3, F(000) = 2360, Μr = 1195.19, μ = 1.766 mm-1, the final R = 0.0323 and wR = 0.0758 for 33414 observed reflections with I > 2?(I). The linear absorption spectra of the complex were experimentally and theoretically studied. And the third-order nonlinear optical(NLO) property of the complex was also measured through Z-scan technique.

Reaction of Cu with dibenzovi peroxide, 2-aminothiazol gave a binuclear complex [Cu_2 (C_6H_5COO)_4(C_3H_4N_2S)_2]. Crystal of the title compound is monoclinic system space group P2_1/n , M_r = 807. 84 with cell parameters a= 10. 685 ( 1 ), b=19. 028(6), c=17. 046(9) , β=96. 49(33)￣°, Z=4, V=3443. 4, D_c=1. 565 g/cm￣-3, μ= 14. 078 cm￣-1, F(000)= 824. The final refinement with 3429 observed reflections is converged with R= 0. 046 and R_w=0. 053. X-ray crystal structure analysis revealed that each copper ion is coordinated by four bridging birfentate benzoate ligandsand one Zaminothiazol to form a binuclear molecule. In the crvstal, there are intramolecular hydrogen bonds N (1)- H ( 1 )-O(4) and N (3)- H (3)-O(1) with NO distance of 3. 005, N-H-O angle of 131. 9°.

N-doping has significant influence in manipulating the properties of TiO_(2),and this has stimulated the development of N-donor-functionalized titanium-oxo clusters(TOCs)as molecular models to study the structure-property ***,the structural type and photoresponsive application are still limited for such TOCs,especially regarding the high-nuclearity TOCs that contain structure unit of TiO_(2)for ***,we showed the synthesis of a series of high-nuclearity TOCs 1-3 compounds usingπ-conjugated 1,10-phenanthroline(phen)as chromophore and N-donor functional *** 1 features cocrystal structure composed of one[Ti_(26)]~(2+)and half[Ti_(22)]~(2+),which renders it as the first cocrystallized TOC containing two positively charged species and phen-functionalized TOC showing the highest nuclearity up to 37 Ti *** adjusting the synthetic conditions,the individual{Ti_(22)}and{Ti_(26)}clusters can also be isolated as Compounds 2 and 3,*** core structure of{Ti_(22)}is mainly constructed from four lacunary{Ti_(4)}derived from pentagonal{Ti(Ti)_5}unit,while{Ti_(26)}is built from four complete{Ti(Ti)_5}***,a{Ti_8O_(14)}structure unit of anatase TiO_(2)can be identified in{Ti_(26)}.Based on the unique structural features and proper photophysical and photochemical properties of Compounds 1-3,they are applied for photocatalytic *** to the presence of anatase structure unit in{Ti_(26)}and the synergistic effect from{Ti_(22)}and{Ti_(26)},the catalytic performance presents in the order of Compound 1>Compound 3>Compound *** work provides excellent models to understand the structureproperty relationship from the perspective of cocrystallization and Ti-O binding model and will further promote the application of TOCs as functional catalysts for organic transformation.

Tackling the problem of poor conductivity and catalytic stability of pristine metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) is crucial to improve their oxygen evolution reaction(OER) ***,we introduce a novel strategy of dysprosium(Dy) doping,using the unique 4f orbitals of this rare earth element to enhance electrocatalytic activity of *** method involves constructing Dy-doped Ni-MOF(Dy@Ni-MOF) nanoneedles on carbon cloth via a Dy-induced valence electronic perturbation *** and density functional theory(DFT) calculations reveal that Dy doping can effectively modify the electronic structure of the Ni active centers and foster a strong electronic interaction between Ni and *** resulting benefits include a reduced work function and a closer proximity of the d-band center to the Fermi level,which is conducive to improving electrical conductivity and promoting the adsorption of oxygen-containing ***,the Dy@Ni-MOF achieves superhydrophilicity,ensuring effective electrolyte contact and thus accelerating reaction kinetics,Ex-situ and in-situ analysis results manifest Dy_(2)O_(3)/NiOOH as the actual active ***,Dy@Ni-MOF shows impressive OER performance,significantly surpassing ***,the overall water splitting device with Dy@NiMOF as an anode delivers a low cell voltage of 1.51 V at 10 mA cm^(-2) and demonstrates long-term stability for 100 h,positioning it as a promising substitute for precious metal catalysts.

Hepatocellular carcinoma is a common and fatal malignancy for which there is no effective systemic therapeutic ***(DHA),a derivative of artemisinin,has been shown to exert anti-tumor effects through the production of reactive oxygen species(ROS)and resultant mitochondrial ***,clinical translation is limited by several drawbacks,such as insolubility,instability and low ***,based on a nanomedicine-based delivery strategy,we fabricated mitochondria-targeted carrier-free nanoparticles coupling DHA and triphenylphosphonium(TPP),aiming to improve bioavailability and mitochondrial ***-TPP nanoparticles can be passively delivered to the tumor site by enhanced penetration and retention and then *** cytometry and Western blot analysis showed that DHA-TPP nanoparticles increased intracellular ROS,which increased mitochondrial stress and in turn upregulated the downstream Bcl-2 pathway,leading to *** vivo experiments showed that DHA-TPP nanoparticles exhibited anti-tumor effects in a mouse model of hepatocellular *** findings suggest carrier-free DHA-TPP nanoparticles as a potential therapeutic strategy for hepatocellular carcinoma.
