Lithium-oxygen batteries(LOBs)with high energy density are a promising advanced energy storage ***,the slow cathodic redox kinetics during cycling causes the discharge products to fail to decompose in time,resulting in large polarization and battery failure in a short ***,a self-supporting interconnected nanosheet array network NiCo_(2)O_(4)/MnO_(2)with a Mott-Schottky heterostructure on titanium paper(TP-NCO/MO)is ingeniously designed as an efficient cathode catalyst material for *** heterostructure can accelerate electron transfer and influence the charge transfer process during adsorption of intermediate by triggering the interface disturbance at the heterogeneous interface,thus accelerating oxygen reduction and oxygen evolution kinetics and regulating product decomposition,which is expected to solve the above *** meticulously designed unique structural advantages enable the TP-NCO/MO cathode catalyst to exhibit an astounding ultra-long cycle life of 800 cycles and an extraordinarily low overpotential of 0.73 *** study utilizes a simple method to cleverly regulate the morphology of the discharge products by constructing a Mott-Schottky heterostructure,providing important reference for the design of efficient catalysts aimed at optimizing the adsorption of reaction intermediates.

eleven organophosphate esters(OPes)in the air and seawater were investigated from the northwestern Pacific Ocean to the Southern Ocean during the 2018 Chinese 34th Antarctic Scientific *** concentration of total OPes ranged from 164.82 to 3501.79 pg/m~3in air and from 4.54 to 70.09 ng/L in *** halogenated OPes,tri(chloropropyl)phosphate(TCPP)and tri(2-chloroethyl)phosphate(TCeP),were generally more abundant than the non-halogenated OPes.A levelⅢfugacity model was developed to simulate the transfer and fate of seven OPes in the air and seawater regions of the central Ross *** model results indicate that OPes are transferred from the air to the seawater in the central Ross Sea in summer,during which the Ross Sea acts as a final OPe *** and wet deposition dominated the processes involving OPe transfer to *** OPe degradation process was also found to be more pervasive in the atmosphere than in the seawater *** findings highlights the importance of long-range transport of OPes and their air–seawater interface behavior in the Antarctic.

Intensive management is known to markedly alter soil carbon(C)storage and turnover in Moso bamboo forests compared with extensive ***,the effects of intensive management on soil respiration(RS)components remain *** study aimed to evaluate the changes in different RScomponents(root,mycorrhizal,and free-living microorganism respiration)in Moso bamboo forests under extensive and intensive management practices.A1-year in-situ microcosm experiment was conducted to quantify the RScomponents in Moso bamboo forests under the two management practices using mesh screens of varying *** results showed that the total RSand its components exhibited similar seasonal variability between the two management *** with extensive management,intensive management significantly increased cumulative respiration from mycorrhizal fungi by 36.73%,while decreased cumulative respiration from free-living soil microorganisms by 8.97%.Moreover,the abundance of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)increased by 43.38%,but bacterial and fungal abundances decreased by 21.65%and 33.30%,respectively,under intensive *** management practices significantly changed the bacterial community composition,which could be mainly explained by soil pH and available *** fungi and intensive management affected the interrelationships between bacterial *** equation modeling indicated that intensive management changed the cumulative RSby elevating AMF abundance and lowering bacterial *** concluded that intensive management reduced the microbial respiration-derived C loss,but increased mycorrhizal respiration-derived C loss.

elucidating the flow features around piles in local scouring processes is crucial for studies of local scouring mechanisms and scour depth *** study details the flow turbulence characteristics of two submerged piles that are determined by solving the Navier-Stokes equations with the improved delayed detached eddy simulation *** model is verified by comparing experimental and numerical results for hydrodynamic parameters with the literature for both square-crossing piles(SCPs)and circular-crossing piles(CCPs).Original topographies of flat and scoured beds(i.e.,the initial and equilibrium scouring stages)are based on experimental results obtained by the authors in the present *** and CCP flow features in the scouring process are *** results indicate that during the scouring process,the time-averaged drag coefficient and root mean square(rms)of the lift coefficient increase linearly in the CCP test,while the rms of the lift coefficient in the SCP test decreases ***,the minimum pressure coefficient is always located in the upstream corners in the SCP case but moves from 72.5°to 79.5°when the scour hole is completely developed in the CCP *** flow behind the pile,which is generated by separated boundary layers above the top face of the pile,can reach the sand bed and turn the separated shear layers into patches of small vortices in the near-wake ***,the high shear stress zones are mainly at the scour edges under scoured-bed conditions.

Objective: To determine whether monotropein has an anticancer effect and explore its potential mechanisms against colorectal cancer(CRC) through network pharmacology and molecular docking combined with experimental verification. Methods: Network pharmacology and molecular docking were used to predict potential targets of monotropein against CRC. Cell counting kit assay, plate monoclonal assay and microscopic observation were used to investigate the antiproliferative effects of monotropein on CRC cells HCT116, HT29 and LoVo. Flow cytometry and scratch assay were used to analyze apoptosis and cell cycle, as well as cell migration, respectively in HCT116, HT29, and LoVo cells. Western blotting was used to detect the expression of proteins related to apoptosis, cell cycle, and cell migration, and the expression of proteins key to the Akt pathway. Results: The Gene Ontology and Reactome enrichment analyses indicated that the anticancer potential of monotropein against CRC might be involved in multiple cancer-related signaling pathways. Among these pathways, RAC-beta serine/threonine-protein kinase(Akt1, Akt2), cyclin-dependent kinase 6(CDK6), matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP9), epidermal growth factor receptor(eGFR), cell division control protein 42 homolog(CDC42) were shown as the potential anticancer targets of monotropein against CRC. Molecular docking suggested that monotropein may interact with the 6 targets(Akt1, Akt2, CDK6, MMP9, eGFR, CDC42). Subsequently, cell activity of HCT116, HT29 and LoVo cell lines were significantly suppressed by monotropein(Permore, our research revealed that monotropein induced cell apoptosis by inhibiting Bcl-2 and increasing Bax, induced G_1–S cycle arrest in colorectal cancer by decreasing the expressions of CyclinD1, CDK4 and CDK6, inhibited cell migration by suppressing the expressions of CDC42 and MMP9(Per role through Akt signaling pathway. The stimulating effect of rhizosphere on denitrification is considered to be an unavoidable loss of soil nitrogen（N） and detrimental to crop N use efficiency,which is regulated by crop growth and soil properties. Soil acidification, occurring rapidly in many intensive farming lands, affects both crop growth and soil properties, thereby altering rhizosphere effect on denitrification. However, the mechanism by which soil acidification regulates rhizosphere denitrification still remains unclear. Here, we determined the denitrification capacity（DC） and associated community compositions of nirK-and nirS-type denitrifiers in maize rhizosphere and bulk soils at four acidity gradients（pH = 6.8, 6.1, 5.2, and 4.2）. Results showed that the stimulating effect of rhizosphere on DC strongly depended on soil pH. Compared to bulk soil, rhizosphere soil had significantly higher DC at pH 5.2, but not at pH of 4.2. With increasing soil acidity, the stimulation of rhizosphere on DC（calculated as the difference in DC between rhizosphere and bulk soils） decreased from 8.01 to 0.01 mg N ***, soil acidification significantly reduced the differences in dissolved organic carbon（DOC） and abundance of key nirK-type denitrifier taxa between rhizosphere and bulk soils, both of which were positively related to the stimulation of rhizosphere on DC. These findings demonstrated that soil acidification could weaken the positive rhizosphere effect on denitrification via regulated C availability and associated nirK-type denitrifier community, potentially reducing N loss risk in rhizosphere soil. The independent role of soil p H should be fully considered when modelling N behaviour in plant-soil systems.

The development and exploration of efficient and economical electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction（OeR） represents the main bottleneck to unlocking a sustainable energy scenario based on elec trocataly tic water *** scale integration of three-dimensional（3D） porous heterostructure with highly dispersed active sites and good structural stability is ***,a dual template route is developed to construct the 3D porous SiO2/nitrogen-doped carbon（NC）/Co-carbon nano tubes（CNTs） hetero ***,the hard template（SiO2nano spheres） contributes to 3D porous structure,increases the specific surface area,and promotes the contact area of the *** the same time,the soft template（basic zinc carbonate） can control the growth of 1D CNTs and facilitate the exposure of the active ***,3D porous SiO2/NC/Co-CNTs hetero structure inherits highly dispersed Co nanoparticles coated by *** conductive channels and abundant N hetero atoms doping are reasonably constructed by a dual template ***,SiO2/NC/Co-CNTs catalyst provides an extraordinary activity for the OeR in alkaline media,with a low overpotential of 298 mV at a current density of 10 mA·***,SiO2/NC/Co-CNTs hetero structure enables excellent long-term durability with a 10 mV decay in overpotential after 3000 cyclic voltammetry cycles,and 97% remain in current density over 20 *** is believed that this dual template strategy can provide a new and simple way to construct a highly dispersed active site in electrocatalysts.

Coral fluorescence phenotypes have been suggested as an adaptation to a broad range of environmental conditions,yet the mechanisms linking thermal bleaching tolerance in reef-building coral populations,associated with fluorescence phenotypes due to GFP-like proteins,remains *** this study,the relationship between the thermal sensitivity and phenotypic plasticity of corals was investigated using two phenotypes of Galaxea fascicularis,green and *** results reveal that brown *** was more susceptible to bleaching than green *** when exposed to a higher growth temperature of 32℃.Both phenotypes of *** were associated with the thermotolerant Symbiodiniaceae symbiont,Durusdinium ***,the brown *** showed a significant decrease in Symbiodiniaceae cell density and a significant increase in pathogenic bacteria abundance when the growth temperature was raised from 29 to 32℃.The physiological traits and transcriptomic profiles of Symbiodiniaceae were not notably affected,but there were differences in the transcriptional levels of certain genes between the two phenotype hosts of *** heat stress of 32℃,the gene encoding green fluorescent protein(GFP)-like and chromosome-associated proteins,as well as genes related to oxidative phosphorylation,cell growth and death showed lower transcriptional levels in the brown *** compared to the green ***,the results demonstrate that the green form of *** is better able to tolerate ocean warming and defend against pathogenic bacteria,likely due to higher gene transcription levels and defense ability.
