Background：Laminectomy is a major method to treat lumbar spinal stenosis （LSS）,but it has lots of flaws such as scar tissue can form around the dura again or spinal *** study aimed to investigate the feasibility of transverse rotation laminoplasty （TRL） in the treatment of ***：The mimic operations of TRL were performed both in the computerized image processing and on the lumbar *** tomography （CT） images were either collected from 80 clinical patients with complaints of lumbago or obtained from 40 sets of lumbar specimens after rebuild of spinal *** the CT image processing the heights of the spinous process and laminae at L3-L5 were *** total length of the spinous process plus one side laminae after the operation was evaluated and compared with the length of inner margin of pedical before the *** areas of the vertebral canal were examined before and after the ***：In the CT images,the height of spinous process of L3,L4 and L5 was 24.74 ± 3.45,22.68 ± 5.96 and 21.54 ± 4.12 mm respectively,and that of laminae was 23.66 ± 2.32,22.68 ± 5.36 and 20.99 ± 3.67 mm respectively （P 〉 0.05）.Distance of inner border of pedical of L3,L4 and L5 was 23.01 ± 6.59,24.65 ± 5.54 and 26.03 ± 7.34 mm respectively,and length of spinous process with laminae of those was 29.76 ± 4.91,29.31 ± 6.43 and 32.53 ± 5.76 mm respectively （P 〈 0.05）.Preoperative area of spinal canals of L3,L4 and L5 was 299.81 ± 10.09,297.66 ± 9.54 and 308.22 ± 10.04 mm2 respectively,and postoperative area was 480.01 ± 9.33,487.32 ± 8.65 and 501.03 ± 9.12 mm2 respectively （P 〈 0.05）.In the human lumbar vertebrae specimen,the data similar to the ***：The excised canal posterior was covered,and the lumbar canals enlarged by *** TRL provided a new alternative in the treatment of LSS.

Synthesis of Cordierite by Decomposition of Metal Nitrates on the Surface of Carbon Black Powder

Cordierite precursor was obtained through a process, which involved the decomposition of metal nitrates on the surface of ultrafine carbon black powder between 100-300℃ and the gasification of the carbon black at higher temperature in air. The average size of the particles, which were heat-treated at 700℃ for 10h, is about 1020nm, and the specific surface area is about 129m 2/g. The experimental results show that the ultrafine particles of cordierite precursor can be produced by this process. The precursor powder was calcined at different temperatures. X-ray diffraction examination indicates that β-quartz is crystallized from the amorphous matrix around 850℃ firstly and then MgO-Al 2O 3 spinel and α-cordierite appears. Above 1000℃, MgO-Al 2O 3 spinel and cristobalite disappear gradually and form an intermediate phase (sapphirine). At around 1300℃, the main phase is α-cordierite, and no other phase is detected.

Ionic Liquid-based Microwave-assisted Liquid-liquid Microextraction and High Performance Liquid Chromatography Determination of Sulfonamides from Animal Oils

The authors performed ionic liquid-based microwave-assisted liquid-liquid microextraction（IL-based MALLME） coupled with high performance liquid chromatographic separation for the determination of 6 sulfonamides （SAs） from animal oils. The target analytes were extracted from animal oil samples with sodium hydroxide solution containing 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborateand as the extraction solvent under microwave irradiation. The experimental parameters of the IL-based MALLME, including types of ILs, volume of IL, amount of ion-pairing agent（NHaPF6）, pH value of sample solution, and extraction temperature and time were evaluated. The limits of detection and quantification obtained were in a range of 0.4--0.5μg/kg and a range of 1.2--1.8μg/kg, respectively. The accuracy of the method was evaluated by analyzing five spiked animal oil samples at two fortified levels（5 and 50μg/kg）, and the recoveries of SAs varied from 81.4% to 114.5% with relative standard deviations ranging from 0.8% to 9.0%.

The global spin alignment of vector mesons has been observed by the STAR collaboration at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider （RHIC） at Brookhaven National Laboratory （BNL）.It provides a unique opportunity to probe the correlation between the polarized quark and antiquark in the strongly coupled quark-gluon plasma （sQGP） produced in relativistic heavy ion collisions,opening a new window to explore the properties of s *** addition,spin alignments of vector mesons have also been observed in other high-energy particle collisions such as e+e-annihilations at high energies where hadron production is dominated by quark fragmentation *** results obtained are quite different from those obtained in heavy ion collisions where quark coalescence/combination mechanism dominates suggesting strong dependence on hadronization *** comprehensive studies in different hadronization processes are *** this article,we present a brief review of theoretical and experimental advances in the study of vector meson’s spin alignments in a variety of high-energy particle collisions,with emphasis on hadronization mechanisms.

We investigated the prognostic importance of noninvasive factors in predicting sperm retrieval failure in idiopathic nonobstructive azoospermia(iNOA).We studied 193 patients with nonobstructive azoospermia who underwent microsurgical testicular sperm *** Chi-square test and Mann–Whitney U tests for clinical parameters and seminiferous tubule distribution were used for between-group comparisons.A logistic regression analysis was conducted to identify predictors of retrieval *** under the receiver operating characteristic curve for each variable was evaluated,and the net clinical benefit was calculated using a clinical decision *** with iNOA had a lower sperm retrieval rate than those with known ***,testicular volume was an independent factor affecting sperm extraction outcomes(odds ratio=0.79,P<0.05).The testicular volume cut-off value was 6.5 ml(area under the curve:0.694).The patients with iNOA were categorized into two groups on the basis of the distribution of seminiferous tubules *** sperm retrieval rate and testicular volume were significantly different between the groups with a uniform or heterogeneous tubule *** was also a significant association between a uniform tubule distribution and testicular *** conclusion,a testicular volume of more than 6.5 ml effectively predicts microsurgical testicular sperm extraction failure due to a uniform tubule distribution in patients with iNOA.
