Nanocatalytic therapy shows great potential for therapeutic ***,therapeutic efficiency is often limited by unsatisfactory enzyme activity and lack of the coordination of immune ***,engineering nanozymes activity enhancement while activating immune system will be an effective strategy to achieve efficient tumor ***,we synthesize a DSPE-PEG-FA modified manganese dioxide-based dual-atom nanozyme(MDF),on which iridium and platinum atoms are *** obtained MDF can simultaneously mimic four enzyme activities of catalase,oxidase,peroxidase,and glutathione oxidase,set off a reactive oxygen species(ROS)storm,cause tumor cell *** enzyme activity of MDF can be enhanced by its own photothermal ***,MDF can consume intracellular glutathione and release Mn^(2+),which can prevent generated ROS from consumption and further activate cyclic guanosine monophosphate-adenosine monophosphate synthase-stimulator of interferon genes(cGAS-STING)pathway and promote the secretion of type I interferon,which will help promote dendritic cells maturation,present antigens to T lymphocytes to help kill tumor ***,MDF shows excellent tumor suppressive *** work provides a new paradigm for the field of nanozymes and offers a new reference for involvement of cGAS-STING pathway activation in tumor catalytic therapy.

Upconversion luminescence(UCL)materials have the potential for many applications due to their unique optical *** technical challenges such as complex synthesis with low yield and nondegradability need to be addressed for practical ***,we report for the first time a minimalist method for large-scale synthesis of Cs_(2)NaErCl_(6)UCL crystals with almost 100%yield,simply by dissolving metal chlorides in water and then drying,referred to as the“dissolve-dry”***_(2)NaErCl_(6)crystals produced under such mild conditions exhibited bright UCL at either 808 or 980 nm *** was achieved through an excited state absorption process,and the excellent performance was mainly attributed to the large unit cells of the crystals and the long lifetime of Er^(3+)excited energy ***,the synthesis was reversible and could be scaled up unlimitedly,making it suitable for industrial applications,with recyclable *** recyclable application of Cs_(2)NaErCl_(6)crystals as a luminescent medium in near-infrared light-emitting diode excitable upconversion devices was demonstrated based on its excellent *** work not only provides a new strategy for large-scale synthesis of UCL crystals but also demonstrates the recyclability of this material and its related applications.

AIM:To evaluate lacrimal gland adenoid cystic carcinoma(LGACC)of prognosis in patients who underwent different treatment ***:We searched PubMed,EMBASE,and the Cochrane Library for studies done on the treatment of LGACC,between January 1987 and April 2022.A Metaanalysis was conducted to pool the 5-year overall survival rate(OR),and the 5-year recurrence rate(RR)and 5-year metastasis rate(MR)were ***:The 30 studies involved 585 patients were included in the *** pooled 5-year OR with surgery alone was 50%,the 5-year RR was 63%,and the 5-year MR was 34%.The pooled 5-year OR with surgery and adjuvant radiotherapy combined was 67%(95%CI 61%,73%),the 5-year RR was 41%,and the 5-year MR was 35%.The pooled 5-year OR with surgery and adjuvant chemoradiotherapy combined was 72%(95%CI 59%,84%),the 5-year RR was 48%,and the 5-year MR was 36%.The pooled 5-year OR with surgery,intra-arterial cytoreductive chemotherapy,and adjuvant chemoradiotherapy combined was 78%(95%CI 68%,89%),the 5-year RR was 15%,and the 5-year MR was 27%.CONCLUSION:Comprehensive treatment is more effective than surgery *** combined with intraarterial chemotherapy and adjuvant chemoradiotherapy seems to add value to the therapeutic effect of comprehensive treatment of LGACC but further high-quality research is required to validate this.

Background: Condyloma acuminatum (CA), also known as a genital wart (GW), is a sexually transmitted disease caused by human papillomavirus (HPV). HPV lesions, recurrence tendency, and risk of malignant formation are primarily dependent on the person’s immunity level. GW recurrence is a major challenge in CA treatment. The aim of this study was to explore how lesional auto-transplantation (LT) can be used to treat CA and decrease its recurrence. Methods: We treated CA through the preparation and implantation of tissue from nine CA patients in our dermatology clinic. Transplantation of small pieces of HPV lesions to the subcutaneous fat of the inguinal region was carried out with the help of a simple surgical method under local anesthesia. Patients were followed up for six to eight months. We searched PubMed and the Web of Science for treatment options for CA to compare our treatment method recurrence rate with existing treatment options. Results: During three months of follow-up, seven patients experienced no recurrence of condyloma lesions, while two patients experienced recurrence of small lesions of condyloma acuminatum. The recurrence rate of CA once treated by auto-transplantation was relatively low compared to other CA treatment options. Conclusions: Transplantation of HPV lesions to the inguinal area reduces the recurrence rate in sexually active individuals. The 2/9 recurrence after implantation could be due to poor hygiene, sexual relationships or immune factors.

Recent submillimeter dust thermal emission observations have unveiled a significant number of inter-arm massive molecular clouds in ***,the effectiveness of this technique is limited to its sensitivity,making it challenging to study more distant *** study introduces an alternative approach,utilizing optical extinctions derived from space-based telescopes,with a focus on the forthcoming China Space Station Telescope(CSST).We first demonstrate the capability of this method by constructing dust extinction maps for 17 inter-arm massive molecular clouds in M31 using the Panchromatic Hubble Andromeda Treasury *** analysis reveals that inter-arm massive molecular clouds with an optical extinction(A_(V)) greater than 1.6 mag exhibit a notable A_(V) excess,facilitating their *** majority of these inter-arm massive molecular clouds show an A_(V) around 1 mag,aligning with measurements from our JCMT *** validation using a mock CSST RGB star catalog confirms the method's *** show that the derived A_(V)values using CSST z and y photometries align more closely with the input *** clouds with A_(V)> 1.6 mag can also be identified using the CSST mock *** thus claim that future CSST observation clouds provide an effective way for the detection of inter-arm massive molecular clouds with significant optical extinction in nearby galaxies.

Dear Editor,Infections by the influenza virus are a significant and widespread global health threat,as these infections have an annual death toll ranging from 290,000 to 650,000.1 A significant proportion of these fatalities are attributed to secondary bacterial pneumonia,a severe complication commonly caused by ubiquitous respiratory pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus(***).2 Of particular concern is the increased morbidity and mortality rates in individuals infected simultaneously with influenza virus and methicillin-resistant ***(MRSA).3 The concurrent presence of bacteria and influenza virus usually causes acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS),which is associated with acute lung injury(ALI),severe lung tissue edema,and widespread ***,determining the complex mechanisms underlying the synergistic interplay will require further investigation with a suitable coinfection mouse *** our previous study,we utilized different sequential coinfections at various time points to model influenza A virus and MRSA coinfection.
