This paper presents an indirect boundary integration equation method for diffraction of plane SV waves by a 2-D cavity in a poroelastic *** Green＇s functions of compressive and shear wave sources are derived based on Biot＇s theory. The scattered waves are constructed using fictitious wave sources close to the boundary of the cavity, and their magnitudes are determined by the boundary conditions. Verification of the accuracy is performed by：（1. checking the satisfaction extent of the boundary conditions, （2） comparing the degenerated solutions of a single-phased case with well- known solutions, and （3） examining the numerical stability of the solutions. The nature of diffraction of plane SV waves around a cavity in a poroelastic half-space is investigated by numerical examples.

In order to investigate the impact of fulvic acid (FA) on the hydroxylysyl glycosylation in collagen bio-synthesis, 40 NMRI mice were divided into two groups (n=20 in each group, consisting 1. females and 1. males). The animal was maintained for two generations by different diets: control group with normal water and food and study group with water containing 30mg/L FA and normal food. The second generation of the animal was slaughtered, and the biochemical parameters of collagen content and the degree of collagen hydroxylysyl glycosylation in skin, rib and tibia were detected by biochemical methods. The mean value of collagen in the study group was increased slightly, and no significant difference between study group and control group was found (P> 0.05), but the content of glucose-glactose-hydroxylysine (GGH) was significantly decreased in the study group in comparison with the control group (P1.. It was suggested that through the decrease of GGH 30 mg/L FA could inhibit the activity of galactosyl-hydroxylysylglucosyl-transferase and further disturb the post-translational modification of collagen intracellularly.

A new family of windows is constructed by convolutions via a few rectangular windows with same time width and is thus referred to as convolution windows. The expressions of the second-order up to the eighth-order convolution windows in both the time and frequency domains are derived. Their applications in high accuracy harmonic analysis of periodic signals are investigated. Comparisons between the proposed windows and some known windows with the same width shows that, when the synchronous deviation of data sampling is slight, the proposed ones have the least effect of spectral leakage. Therefore, the new windows are well suited for high accuracy harmonic analysis and parameter estimation for periodic signals. The error analysis and computer simulations show that the estimation errors, corresponding to frequency, amplitude and phase of every harmonic component of a signal, are proportional to the pth power of the relative frequency deviation in case of the pth-order convolution window is applied to windowing signal of approximately p cycles. By introducing real time adjustment in sampling interval, the proposed algorithm can adaptively trace signal frequency and lead to less sampling synchronous deviation. The proposed approach has the advantages of easy implementation and high measure precision and can be used in harmonic analysis of quasi-periodic signals whose fundamental frequency drifts slowly with time.

Aim:To investigate the effect of clonidine,moxonidine,folic acid,andmecobalamin on arterial baroreflex (ABR) function in stroke-prone spontane-ously hypertensive rats (SHR-SP) and the possible mechanisms ***:Eighty-one SHR-SP were divided into 7 *** groups weredesignated for the intragastric (ig) administration of clonidine (1.0 and 1..0μg/kg),moxonidine (0.1.and 1.0 mg/kg),folic acid (1.0 mg/kg),and mecobalamin(1.0 mg/kg).Three groups were for the intracerebroventricular (icv) injectionof clonidine (4 μg/4 μL),moxonidine (5 μg/4 μL),and mecobalamin (20 μg/4 μL).Blood pressure (BP) was recorded in the conscious state for 30 min andbaroreflex sensitivity (BRS) was determined respectively before and after ***:Clonidine and moxonidine significantly decreased BP,prolonged the heart period (HP),and increased BRS when administered as ei-ther ig or icv *** BP and HP were unchanged by ig folic acid ormecobalamin ***,BRS was significantly increased by ***:Clonidine,moxonidine,folic acid,and mecobalamin improvedimpaired ABR function in *** central mechanism was involved in thiseffect of either clonidine or *** improved ABR func-tion through the peripheral mechanism.
