The coastal wetlands of the Yellow River Delta(YRD)in China are crucial for their valuable resources,environmental significance,and economic ***,these wetlands are also vulnerable to the dual threats of climate change and human *** substantial attention to the historical shifts in YRD's coastal wetlands,uncertainties remain regarding their future trajectory in the face of compound risks from climate change and anthropogenic *** on a range of remote sensing data sources,this study undertakes a comprehensive investigation into the evolution of YRD's coastal wetlands between 2000 and ***,the potential fate of coastal wetlands is thoroughly analyzed through the Land Use/Cover Change(LUCC)simulation using System Dynamic-Future Land Use Simulation(SD-FLUS)model and the extreme water levels projection integrated future sea-level rise,storm surge,and astronomical high tide in 2030,2050,and 2100 under scenarios of SSP1-2.6,SSP2-4.5,and *** revealed that YRD's coastal wetlands underwent a marked reduction,shrinking by 1688.72 km²from 2000 to *** decline was mostly attributed to the substantial expansion in the areas of artificial wetlands(increasing by 823.78 km2),construction land(increasing by 767.71 km²),and shallow water(increasing by 274.58 km²).Looking ahead to 2030-2100,the fate of coastal wetlands appears to diverge based on different *** the SSP1-2.6 scenario,the area of coastal wetland is projected to experience considerable *** contrast,the SSP5-8.5 scenario anticipates a notable decrease in coastal *** to the inundated area suffered from the current extreme water levels,the study projects a decrease of 6.8%-10.6%in submerged coastal wetlands by 2030 and 9.4%-18.2%by 2050 across all *** 2100,these percentages are projected to decrease by 0.4%(SSP2-4.5)and 27.1%(SSP5-8.5),but increase by 35.7%(SSP1-2.6).Results suggest that coastal wetlands in th

Optical Genome Mapping for Cryptic Chromosomal Rearrangements Identification in Clinical Practice

To editor:Balanced chromosomal rearrangements(BCRs),predominantly reciprocal translocations and inversions represent disease-related structural variations(SVs)that directly disrupt gene structure and ***,BCRs predispose offspring to unbalanced rearrangements,resulting in adverse pregnancy outcomes.1 The timely and accurate identification of carriers is crucial for minimizing the risk of associated adverse pregnancy outcomes,assessing recurrent risk,and planning appropriate *** cytogenetic karyotyping serves as the standard first-tier approach for BCR detection,yielding a rate of 2%–4%in the recurrent miscarriage population.2 However,its limited resolution(typically around 5–10 Mb)poses challenges in detecting cryptic BCRs with smaller or similarly banded segments,as well as complex SVs involving multiple *** genome mapping(OGM),an emerging technology from Bionano Genomics,has a high resolution for detecting nearly all types of genomic SVs and has been recognized as a revolution in next-generation cytogenomic analysis.3,4 A growing number of studies have recently demonstrated the efficiency and superiority of OGM in various clinical settings,including both prenatal and postnatal congenital conditions,as well as various hematological and other malignancies.5–7 Here,we explore the value of OGM in identifying cryptic BCRs using a case series from our clinical *** study was approved by the ethics committee of the Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital affiliated with Nanjing University Medical School(no.2021-464-02).

It is essential to enhance the thickness of the absorber layer for perovskite solar cells(PSCs)to improve device performance and reduce industry ***,thick perovskite films(>1μm)are difficult to be fabricated by employing traditional solvents,such as N,N-dimethylformamide(DMF),dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO).Besides,it is a challenge to fabricate thick-film perovskite owing to the deteriorated surface morphology and serious defect ***,a simple method was reported to deposit uniform pinhole-free perovskite films with a thickness of more than 2μm utilizing the methylamine acetate(MAAc)ionic liquid as the *** with methylammonium chloride(MACl)as an additive,thick-film perovskite with~2μm in grain size and few grain boundaries(GBs)was prepared,which dramatically improved the perovskite crystal quality and enhanced carrier transport *** final PSCs exhibited a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 20.16%.The device showed improved stability with 95%of its initial efficiency in a nitrogen environment over 5000 *** work provides an alternative strategy to produce extremely efficient and stable thick-film *** can be believed that this device has great potential in the application of large areas and laminated PSCs.

Background: Idiosyncratic drug-induced liver injury(IDIli) is a serious side effect of drugs, Epimedii Folium(EF) is unequivocally implicated in idiosyncratic liver injury onset, potentially due to its ability to perturb the NOD-like receptor family pyrin domain containing 3(NLRP3) inflammasome. Fructus ligustri Lucidi(FLL), a frequently used medicinal combination with EF, has not yet been investigated for its ability to ameliorate EF-associated hepatotoxicity. Aims and Objectives: Study on the mechanism of compatibility of FLL to alleviate liver injury caused by EF. Materials and Methods: Western blot was used to determine the expression of related proteins, EliSA was used to detect the secretion of related inflammatory factors IL-1β, IL-18, IL-6 and TNF-α, liver injury indexes were detected and liver pathological tissue staining was used to evaluate the liver injury. Results: Our results demonstrated that EF exerted a particular augmenting effect on the stimulation of the NLRP3 inflammasome mediated by nigericin or ATP, whereas FLL suppressed the NLRP3 inflammasome stimulation. Furthermore, an equal EF to FLL ratio significantly reduced the stimulatory effects of EF. Moreover, EF has the potential to induce hepatic injury and augment pro-inflammatory cytokine synthesis in rats subjected to LPS. However, when combined with FLL, the detrimental effects of EF were mitigated. Conclusions: FLL possesses the capacity to attenuate EF-associated hepatotoxicity by suppressing EF-triggered NLRP3 inflammasome activation. Thus, FLL holds promise for improving the clinical safety profile of EF, shedding light on the potential of compatibility and detoxification theories in traditional Chinese medicine.

Leakages from subsea oil and gas equipment cause substantial economic losses and damage to marine ecosystem,so it is essential to locate the source of the ***,due to the complexity and variability of the marine environment,the signals collected by hydrophone contain a variety of noises,which makes it challenging to extract useful signals for *** solve this problem,a hydrophone denoising algorithm is proposed based on variational modal decomposition(VMD)with grey wolf ***,the average envelope entropy is used as the fitness function of the grey wolf optimizer to find the optimal solution for the parameters K andα.Afterward,the VMD algorithm decomposes the original signal parameters to obtain the intrinsic mode functions(IMFs).Subsequently,the number of interrelationships between each IMF and the original signal was calculated,the threshold value was set,and the noise signal was removed to calculate the time difference using the valid signal obtained by ***,the arrival time difference is used to locate the origin of the *** localization accuracy of the method in finding leaks is investigated experimentally by constructing a simulated leak test rig,and the effectiveness and feasibility of the method are verified.

Beneficial effects of lacquer seed oil on bromocriptine-induced postpartum hypogalactia in rats

The high incidence of postpartum hypogalactia hinders the healthy development of postpartum women and the next generation. Lacquer seed oil (LSO)， the oil extracted from the seeds of the lacquer tree， has been traditionally used as a dietary supplement for promoting postpartum lactation and recovery in some districts of China. However， its physiological effects have not been verified， and the mechanism and active components of LSO have not been analyzed. Thus， we applied LSO to bromocriptine-induced postpartum hypogalactia rats. The results showed that LSO supplement effectively improves bromocriptine-induced postpartum hypogalactia. LSO also increased prolactin levels reduced by bromocriptine， promoted JAK2/STAT5 and PI3K/AKT pathways and several gene expression levels of milk synthesis in mammary gland. Moreover， metabolomic and network pharmacological analysis further revealed that JAK2/STAT5， PI3K/AKT， and estrogen signaling pathway are the potential main regulatory sites for the beneficial effects of LSO on postpartum hypogalactia， and that quercetin， kaempferol， arachidonic acid， epicatechin， and β-sitosterol are the top 5 main active ingredients of LSO. Our results suggested that LSO has great potential in the application of the improvement of postpartum hypogalactia.

Warming intensified the effects of nitrogen addition on N_(2)O emissions from alpine meadow in the northern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

Warming and nitrogen(N)addition may impact soil nitrous oxide(N_(2)O)emissions,but the relationship between plant community composition and soil microbial activities remains *** a two-year field study in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,open-top chambers were used to quantify the effects of warming,N-addition,and their interactions on N_(2)O *** found that the N-addition greatly increased N_(2)O emissions by 77.4%in 2018 when compared to the control *** contrast,warming showed little effect on N_(2)0 emissions but did increase the activity of enzymes associated with soil nitrification and denitrification.A combined effect of warming and N-addition of resulted in 208.6%(2018)and 90.8%(2019)increase in N_(2)0 emissions,respectively,compared to the individual treatments of warming or *** warming in alpine meadows is causally linked to increased legume biomass which is further intensified with the *** legume biomass(p<0.05),soil moisture(p<0.001)and enzyme activity(p<0.001)had a positive effect on N_(2)0 emissions,while diminished microbial carbon/nitrogen(MBC/MBN)(p<0.05)correlated with reduced N_(2)O *** results indicated that N-addition has a positive effect on N_(2)O emissions,and the addition of warming further intensifies this *** increased dominance of legumes and microbial N content contributes to this *** outcomes suggest that warming and atmospheric N deposition can stimulate N_(2)O emissions of alpine meadows inthefuture.
