The microscopic heterogeneity of pore-throat structures in tight sandstone is a crucial parameter for understanding the transport mechanism of fluid *** this work,we firstly developed the new procedure to characterize the pore size distribution(PSD)and throat size distribution(TSD)by combining the nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR),cast thin section(CTS),and constant-rate mercury injection(CRMI)tests,and used the permeability estimated model to verify the full-scale PSD and ***,we respectively analyzed the fractal feature of the pore and throat,and characterized the heterogeneity of pores and ***,we elaborated the effect of the pore and throat heterogeneity on the gas-phase seepage capacity base on the analysis of the simple capillary tube model and gas-flooding *** results showed that(1)The PSD and TSD of the tight sandstone sample ranged from 0.01 to 10 mm and from 0.1 to 57 mm,respectively,mainly contributed by the micropores and ***,the permeability estimated by the PSD and TSD was consistent with the experimental permeability,and relative error was lower than 8%.(2)The PSD and TSD exhibited multifractal characteristics,and singularity strength range,Δα,could be used as the indicator for characterizing the heterogeneity of pore and ***,the throat of the sample showed stronger heterogeneity than that the pore.(3)The throats played an important role for the fluid transport in the tight sandstone,and the effect of the throat heterogeneity on the gas-phase seepage capacity was different under the lower and higher injection *** macropores and micropores maybe respectively become the preferential migration pathways at the lower and higher injection *** the end,the identification plate was established in our paper,and could be described the relationship among the throat heterogeneity,injection pressure,permeability and flow path of the gas phase in the tight sandstone.

Reversible pump turbines are widely employed in the pumped hydro energy storage power plants. The frequent shifts among various operational modes for the reversible pump turbines pose various instability problems, e.g., the strong pressure fluctuation, the shaft swing, and the impeller damage. The instability is related to the vortices generated in the channels of the reversible pump turbines in the generating mode. In the present paper, a new omega vortex identification method is applied to the vortex analysis of the reversible pump turbines. The main advantage of the adopted algorithm is that it is physically independent of the selected values for the vortex identification in different working modes. Both weak and strong vortices can be identified by setting the same omega value in the whole passage of the reversible pump turbine. Five typical modes（turbine mode, runaway mode, turbine brake mode, zero-flow-rate mode and reverse pump mode） at several typical guide vane openings are selected for the analysis and comparisons. The differences between various modes and different guide vane openings are compared both qualitatively in terms of the vortex distributions and quantitatively in terms of the areas of the vortices in the reversible pump turbines. Our findings indicate that the new omega method could be successfully applied to the vortex identification in the reversible pump turbines.

A serials of novel 5-substituted benzyl-2,4-diamino pyrimidine derivatives have been synthesized and evaluated as inhibitors of c-Fms kinase by the standard MTT *** results showed that compound 15,5-[3-methoxy-4-（pyridine-3-yl）benzyl]-2,4-diamino pyrimidine,had an IC50 of 1.45μmol/L in inhibiting the proliferation of M-CSF-dependent myeloid leukemia cells in mice （NFS-60）,which was similar with GW2580,a selective inhibitor of c-Fms kinase.

BACKGROUND Globally,although the jellyfish population has increased in recent years,ocular jellyfish stings remain an uncommon ophthalmic emergency,and have been rarely *** to a few previous reports,ocular jellyfish stings may cause anterior segment disorders,and most of these injuries were self-limited and spontaneously resolved within 24 to 48 *** SUMMARY A brother and sister both presented with severe fundus complications several years after ocular jellyfish stings and both had prolonged blurred *** our knowledge,such fundus lesions induced by jellyfish stings have not been reported *** The fundus status of patients following ocular jellyfish stings should be carefully monitored in cases of irreversible ocular damage.

Medialization thyroplasty or injection laryngoplasty for unilateral vocal fold paralysis cannot restore mobility of the vocal fold. Recent studies have shown that transplantation of mesenchymal stem cells is effective in the repair of nerve injuries. This study investigated wheth- er adipose-derived stem celt transplantation could repair recurrent laryngeal nerve injury. Rat models of recurrent laryngeal nerve injury were established by crushing with micro forceps. Adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells （ADSCs; 8 ×105） or differentiated Schwann-like adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells （dADSCs; 8×105） or extracellular matrix were injected at the site of injury. At 2, 4 and 6 weeks post-surgery, a higher density of myelinated nerve fiber, thicker myelin sheath, improved vocal fold movement, better recovery of nerve conduction capacity and reduced thyroarytenoid muscle atrophy were found in ADSCs and dADSCs groups compared with the extracellu- lar matrix group. The effects were more pronounced in the ADSCs group than in the dADSCs group. These experimental results indicated that ADSCs transplantation could be an early interventional strategy to promote regeneration after recurrent laryngeal nerve injury.

Climate change has resulted in an increase in the frequency and intensity of extreme cold weather events,but few multicity or multicounty researches have explored the association between cold spells and mortality risk and *** collected daily data on climate,sociodemo-graphic factors and mortality in 18 cities/counties across 11 geographical regions for the period of November to March 2014-2018.A distributed lag nonlinear model was used to examine the association between cold spells and mortality after adjustment for confounding *** definitions of cold spells were ***-meta regression analysis was applied to pool the impacts over different *** spells were significantly associated with all-cause mortality at lag 0-21(CRR:1.38,95%CI:1.21,1.57).In addition to respiratory diseases and cir-culatory system diseases,digestive,endocrine and nervous system diseases and injury were also affected by cold *** magnitude of the impacts of cold spells on mortality varied among the diseases investigated,with the highest risk estimate found for influenza and pneumonia(CRR:2.00,95%CI:1.45,2.76)and the lowest estimate found for injury(CRR:1.26,95%CI:1.09,1.46).The fraction of all-cause mortality attributable to cold spells was 2.31%(95%CI:0.90%,3.46%).Among the regional differences,the attributable burden of all-cause mortality was higher in rural areas and subtropical monsoon climate zone,with attributable fractions of 2.85%(95%CI:1.23%,4.11%)and 3.36%(95%CI:0.55%,5.35%),*** spells increased mortality from a range of ***,older adults and residents of rural areas and subtropical monsoon climate zone were more vulnerable to cold spells *** findings may help to formulate preventive strategies and early warning response plans to reduce mortality burden of extreme cold events.

The inhibition of nitrification by mixing nitrification inhibitors(NI)with fertilizers is emerging as an effective method to reduce fertilizer-induced nitrous oxide(N_(2)O)*** additive 3,4-dimethylpyrazole phosphate(DMPP)apparently inhibits ammonia oxidizing bacteria(AOB)more than ammonia oxidizing archaea(AOA),which dominate the nitrification in alkaline and acid soil,***,the efficacy of DMPP in terms of nitrogen sources interacting with soil properties remains *** therefore conducted a microcosm experiment using three typical Chinese agricultural soils with contrasting pH values(fluvo-aquic soil,black soil and red soil),which were fertilized with either digestate or urea in conjunction with a range of DMPP *** the alkaline fluvo-aquic soil,fertilization with either urea or digestate induced a peak in N_(2)O emission(60μg N kg^(-1)d^(-1))coinciding with the rapid nitrification within 3 d following *** almost eliminated this peak in N_(2)O emission,reducing it by nearly 90%,despite the fact that the nitrification rate was only reduced by 50%.In the acid black soil,only the digestate induced an N_(2)O emission that increased gradually,reaching its maximum(20μg N kg^(-1)d^(-1))after 5–7 *** nitrification rate and N_(2)O emission were both marginally reduced by DMPP in the black soil,and the N_(2)O yield(N_(2)O-N per NO2–+NO3–-N produced)was exceptionally high at 3.5%,suggesting that the digestate induced heterotrophic *** the acid red soil,the N_(2)O emission spiked in the digestate and urea treatments at 50 and 10μg N kg^(-1)d^(-1),respectively,and DMPP reduced the rates substantially by nearly 70%.Compared with 0.5%DMPP,the higher concentrations of DMPP(1.0 to 1.5%)did not exert a significantly(Plights the importance of matching the nitrogen sources,soil properties and NIs
